I was wondering is there any way to link the apps that I purchase in either the AM or AAS to each other. The apps that I purchase or download in one doesn't show in the other & I've also noticed that apps purchased in the AAS take longer to receive updates. Sometimes up to a week.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing? Anyone know how to associate apps from Amazon with the Android Market?
You can't.
I just got a tf and it is awsome!
I'm really impressed by the weight and hc.
the only problem that I currently have is that I can't install flash!
every time I try, theres a download error.
Help
Have you tried the direct link in the android market?
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.adobe.flashplayer&feature=search_result
I tried the adroid market link but that also didn't work
The only thing that i haven't tried(at least what i think) is finding an apk file, but wouldn't that be illegal?
No that is not. It would be illegal if its a paid app and you get it from a wares site.
Install the apk and see of it links to the market (shows under my apps in market) so you can get updates.

I'll try that now
Thanks
Kuobob, I'm not sure if this is helpful, but a over a week ago I thought I had the same problem...got constant errors, installed over and over for over a day.
What I found when I went into settings/applications/manage applications the dang thing had been sitting there all along(s).
Or I started a thread called "Flash Player 10.3 won't install on new TF" where a few more people had some helpful suggestions, also, like in this thread...if you need to check it out.
Good luck...that was pretty time wasting to never get a notification that it was already installed(just errors that it wouldn't install) and the only place it showed up was through looking at my settings to find it.
Amazons free app for today is watch dog full version. For those of you who like to keep an eye out for rouge apps. I highly recommend you download it.

Hands down, a Must have app. Get it!
Great catch, Mud! I've been using the Lite version for awhile and I've been forgetting to check out the Amazon free app of the day, so thanks for the heads up. Getting it now....

Of course I alread paid for it
<3 Amazon freebie paid apps!!
So far I've netted Plants vs. Zombies, Gaia GPS, Pac-man, Mahjong pro, and now watchdog!
Haha. Good call. I had a feeling a thread would show for this.
When I opened amazon and saw watchdog, I swear, the 'get app' button practically pushed itself.
It's days like this that make checking the daily free app of the day on amazon pay off.
Get it, people.
I look at amazon apps every day and I get the free ones even if I don't need them. Todays was a great find though

A little off topic but search appstore reminder in the forums and you'll find an app that will pop up a notification at a chosen time of what the free app is

It will have you add a payment option to your account, but the free apps are never charged to the card.
Once you've added the payment option, it won't ever ask for it again, unless you purchase a paid app.
It's Amazon's way of covering their rearends.

Yes. This is what discourages me from using Amazon App Store. So I turn on 1 click, do the purchase, and turn it back off right away. Amazon does not refund. So very high chance of accidental purchases that would not be refunded.
When I first installed the Amazon app store, I download an always free app. I didn't like it, so I uninstalled it. Now it is always in my apps list with the option to install it. Does anyone know how I can remove it? I tried searching for an answer but can't find one.

I would like to know this as well. I have Trillian and YouMail, accidentally got them when they were free, and didn't want them. Would like to get rid of them in my apps list.

Is there a way to download without installing it?
I trust you guys and want to download it, but I really don't want to install it until I understand what it is and how to use it. I haven't figured out how to download apps without installing them yet.

Amazon works differently, while market installs apps when you click Ok, amazon downloads the app and then asks for install... You can just cancel it.
Or if you are scared then install and remove immediately after that using easy uninstaller app.

If I download the app and hit cancel, would I need to navigate to it with a file explorer like Astro and click to install it? Or, will canceling cause the app not to be saved? How is Easy Uninstaller different from the stock uninstaller, other than how you can uninstall more than one app at a time?

There really is no reason to post a comment like this, because what it says is... you don't trust us.
Fine, I'm not hurt. Really, I'm not.
You don't have to trust anyone here. But you sure seem to when receiving other advice in the numerous threads you've posted asking for our help. Now you're not so sure... Lol
Just go read about it on the market. Check how many times watchdog lite has been downloaded, and read the reviews people have posted on its market page.
And then make your own informed decision.
Hey all, downloaded an app from the amazon app store, it downloaded but I didn't install it. Where do I go on the phone to find it? I've already looked in the downloads file, the only thing in there is the original app store apk.

Should have the option Install in the actual Amazon app under your apps. (Menu Button>My Apps.)
If you closed out of it before installing the app, they're downloaded temporarily into /sdcard/Android/data/com.amazon.venezia/cache. Not sure how long they stay there though.
Fortune, they option isn't there. The only file there says amazon Kindle, nothing else pertaining to amazon.

Not even settings or anything...? Weird. I have 6 settings when I press the menu button and My Apps is on the bottom left. You have the most recent version of the Amazon app?
I don't think it keeps them there very long to conserve space. When I donwloaded one to test, I checked to see where it saved and it's since disappeared.
Wierd. Can't find it. Even if I go back to the amazon app and try to redowmload it, it doesn't give me the option. Just says open not download.
