Okay I just a little knowledgeable about these two and i know they are radios that can be flashed. I am running on EB11 with vodoo 2.2 right now and was thinking of trying ec10 but i have no idea of what the difference is and stuff. I am with cellular south (if that helps) i think eb11 is cellular south maybe?? not sure if thats correct
Ea11, or eb16? If your on ea11 I would up it to ec10...the other 2 are betas... Ec10 is the official release.

Don't just go around flashing whatever you come across, you can do permanent damage to your phone. Read first and make sure that whatever you flash is built for the Showcase or is at least compatible with it.
Forgive me for being a n00b (gotta start somewhere right?), but what is the difference between eb11 and dj20? And how do I know which one to flash?

DJ20 is 2.1, EB11 is 2.2 (for showcase, and these are typical release names; the first two letters signify the month and the numbers are the day it dropped that month) - if you want to know the differences look here; http://developer.android.com/sdk/android-2.2.html

I'm sure it has. Now if only Samsung will only get their butts in gear and get Android updates released right about when they come out without molesting it.
Why don't you just use EB11?
Edit:
Oh hmmm the EB11 update has been removed. Interesting.

Well, I would like to but found out today that Cell South is supposed to be pushing out Froyo within the next 2 weeks. The biggest complaint that I have about my phone is that the signal strength is very poor. I'm not sure if it's the radio or a driver issue but was hoping that a new ROM would fix that.
The link to download Froyo has been pulled from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970331 So as for right now we're kinda left out in the cold. Again, I new at this so I'm still learning and you guys may have some links to some better stuff anyways.

I've seen it happen with test builds. if this is somehow pre-release that he has, it's not unlikely that it would be the next number up.
I also know that there's an update coming in june/july so it's very possible that this is a beta version of that build.
still, Source or it didn't happen.

As far as I can tell, the letter is the month (A=January, B=February, etc.) and the number is the build number.
Meaning:
D5 - 5th "build" of April
E3 - 3rd "build" of May
And then if there were another update it might be F4 or G7 something.
Just speculating though.

I think they try not to stay too far behind rogers. we will certainly see soon though, I'm still not sure I believe it.
I had to check on it myself, I was just in a corp store tonight talking and they didn't have any specifics just that the Infuse was next (since Inspire got its upgrade). I sure would like GB...
Prob another Infuse/Inspire confusion.
In August, HTC Inspire 4G users will be notified that the update is available and can be downloaded when connected to a Wi-Fi network.

So...until Samsung releases it...is it possible to extract the source? I know you are working on something....just didn't know what that reallyl meant.
Just seems that octaine/valhala...would be better than the official 2.3.6 which is probably behind anyway compared to your work (and others).

MOT MB865 ( ATRIX 2) is released. How to root it?
Ics??? More info?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda premium
Yes, please clarify! Are you saying that the Atrix 2 has some form of ICS? Did you pull it from Cheesecake, or...?
As to how to root it just trial and error. I'm not sure if Motofail (our 2.3.6 exploit) would still work. It's worth a try though. One sure way to root is to downgrade GB, root it, edit your /system/bin/mount_ext3.sh, then update.
Released today. android version 4.04 MB865
system version 67.21.113
I just checked motos web site and it says nothing about a new update. How do we get ahold of this?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda premium
Released but not to the public ....(it will leak however anytime)
Tried all the exploit methods but nothing works
We can't help with root when nobody else has the firmware itself. It would be nice to know how and where you got it.
Sent from my MB865 using xda premium
I feel all warm and fuzzy inside now . Please could you upload a screenshot of the "about phone" part of the settings menu?
Anyways, on to rooting. It's possible that no exploits at the moment will work. A couple you might want to try that I've found after a quick google search :
-TPSparkyRoot probably won't work
-Mempodroid (find the offsets with n95-offsets) also probably won't work
-RootICSRazr
How exactly did you recieve this firmware? Was it as an update.zip, fxz, or did you recieve the phone with it?
Yes please.... More Info!!!!!
Thank you!
