I don't use RSD (I could never get it to work at all so I use sbf_flash on linux, {sbf_flash possibly works on MacOS now, too}), but I've seen a number of recent posts saying that there are problems on some version of Windows 7 and that finding a 32-bit XP seems to work in the end.

I have vista 32 bit has always worked ... I do not know what to do .... it was turned on again but turns off immediately

What turns on and off (I assume the phone)?
Could it be that the battery is drained? That's what it sounds like to me. There's a real problem with the battery not charging as fast as it drains in both recovery and bootloader. Since the phone autoboots at minimal stored power (unless you use shutdown from the booted phone's power menu) it can get into a vicious cycle when the system doesn't boot. Sometimes watching the phone like a hawk and pulling the battery immediately when it starts to boot works to keep it from booting for a little bit. It happened to me again this weekend and I just broke down and ordered a stand-alone battery charger. Hopefully that will help next time...

is a problem with not go full flash rsd

I'll put him in charge thanks .. hopefully good

I solved it by installing the rsd lite version 4.9 ... it was a instant and was sbf Flash now everything seems ok

I use the RSD 4.9 but it can't regonize the devices, Can you share your experience?

Hi I have just reinstalled drivers motorola and installed rsd lite 4.9 ... the phone has detected all drivers and finally flash sbf....ok

Did you try to check run as admin in propertie tab of windows ?
Right click on RSD Lite click on properties and then check run as admin

[Q] Wich SBF can i flash.. everything fails

i had some issues with flashing my Defy..
i started with Pays-Rom, wich was working quite wel for some time and but got a little slow and i wanted to upgrade to CM7.
then it al went wrong, i don't know what i did, but i didn't get anything but black screen and white led.
so i tried the JORDN_U3_97.21.51. and it worked
from there i couldn't flash anything... and i tried this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=143
this worked.. and i even got CM7 to run, and MUI aswell
but... lots of force closes and it didn't run so stable..
then i installed like 3 programs, and i got a memory full warning.
then i noticed i only had 128mb internal memory.
and every other SBF i tried to flash i just get a black screen and that white led again..
so does anyone know which SBF would work? or what i can do??
i olso read this thread.. to i know i'm not the only one..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1162464
make shure u have the latest drivers instaled on your comp, i ues rsd lite 4.9 coz the newer versions fail to flash
do a stock recovery wipe (hold vol down and power, then when the little android guy apears with the exclamation mark hold both the vol up and down at the same time) chose wipe data/cache and select with power
now go to stock bootloader (vol up+power) connect to the pc with the usb cable (make shure u have at least 30%+ of the battery)
flash 2.2.2 cee from here
it should work...i hade it in soft brik myself and that worked
nice,
gonna try it tomorrow!
and if it's not working.. i'll just bring it back to the shop with the black screen and see what they do about it
nope... full sbf not flashing, again just the black screen and white led..
trying somethinge else now..
but i think i'm just gonna give it back to the shop..
or does someone else know something else i can try?
Make sure RDSlite flash with no error prompting, otherwise you might need to flash it on another PC. And you would need to clear data/cache after the full flash too.

I'd also like to know whats up with the low internal memory? I have this issue also.
You may try flash the full sbf, with linux, is better, is easy, and very friendly. I tried it using a VM with VMWare and works nice.
hi
i have the same problem with my defy,it happend after i flashed the "[FLASH_SBF] 2.3.4 для Defy - 134 "
then i flash the JORDN_U3_97.21.51 and the miui rom ,it succeded but the internal memory of my device is 129 mb instead of 1.12 gb

wich SPflash tool are you using? Im pretty sure SolomonMT has the same problem,
This is how it looked for me whenever it worked, it always showed me my chip info on the left panel under the phone image
Try this
[GUIDE] Unbrick hard-bricked device
Condition Phone does not turns on Phone not detected via USB Phone handshake/memory hash failed Requirements Unplug battery Download MIUI 12.5.4.0.RCDMIXM Fastboot ROM Download Scatter File for 12.5.4.0.RCDMIXM Download SP Flash Tool Download...
forum.xda-developers.com
I think (but Im not sure) I had the same issue until I switched scatter files until it worked, it apparently did not work for SolomonMT tho.

When you try to bypass please hold for 1~2 more seconds the buttons. That's what I did and it worked!

XIAOMI NOTE 4X PROBLEM

HI EVERYONE, HOPE YOU DOING FINE.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO FLASH THE PHONE CORRECTLY?
THIS IS A SCREEN SHOT OF MI FLASH TOOL:

i want to explain the problem more clearly, when i press the power button on the phone it vibrates only, and then nothing happens, i tried to put it in fast boot mode but i couldn't.i used the mi flash tool several times trying to resolve the problem but i didn't work, when i plug in the phone to the laptop the device id appears in device section in mi flash tool but the COM port doesn't appear at all no matter how much i tried, also QUALCOMM drivers are installed but they don't appear in device management when i connect the phone to the laptop.please is there any one can help me?
I had mido for a couple of years but nothing like this has ever happened to me. Try flashing in EDL mode or maybe try charging it.

I installed a Pixelexperience ROM to my S7, worked pretty well, no issues (Rebooted many times, without any issue*)
*One time the battery drained and it turned off so I plugged it into a charger and it went to the TWRP loading screen.
I can hardly go into the Odin (Download) mode, but the problem is:
Windows gives me an error saying "A request for the USB device descriptor failed (Code: 43)"
The error was there since the Pixelexperience OS was installed (Even when the phone was on!)
I tried everything what possible to try to reinstall the stock firm, or just boot into the pixelexperience, but I think this is the end for the phone.
What I tried:
Cable:
- Tried 5 different cables, tested each other with other devices, everyone is working, but not with my Samsung
PC:
- Tried with 4 different PC running Windows 10/11
- Tried with USB 3.0-2.0
- Tried with, and without Samsung drivers installed
Phone:
- Ofc, tried to force reboot with volume down+ power button (Same thing, booting into TWRP)
- Let it drain overnight. Last thing I tried to do, but sadly no change.. If I turn on a charger, it boots into TWRP, not even to the "offline" charging screen.
If anyone can help me to cure this stupid problem, I would be very thankful.
Or maybe this is the end?
The partition has probably been corrupted. Don't ask me why, there can be many reasons. If you can turn on the phone in download mode then try uploading the stock ROM with Odin.

This is the sad part, because with 4 different pc with 5 different cables not recognise my phone as an USB device (Code:43) You can read it in the post. :\

BV4900 Pro systemupdate and brick

Hello everybody!
Yesterday, on 28 of December, I had a massage on my BV4900 pro that a systemupdate is now ready to be installed.
After download of 2,48 GB file the installation went on, the phone started in the next step. On the screen was this white circle and the installation-progress was shown under. After the update was completted, the phone didnt start. The screen ist black. I cannot do anything with it. I tried to flash the firmware or at least the preloader with sp-flash-tool, but cannot. The connection to sp-flash-tool is with 100% but then I see under device-manager is "Media Tek PreLoader USB VCOM (Android)". So the flash-tool does not flash. I tried with volume buttons to stop the battery-loading, but withou sussess. What can I try more to save the phone?
Some more informations: The red LED ist on, when the phone ist connected to pc or power-supply. The phone was rooted. The last android version: 12
And maybe this picture will help:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Just a Hint:
Do not flash preloader! preloader is responsible for preloader mode (which used by SP Flash Tool)
Do not use "Format all + Download" option. Formatting whole emmc will brick device.

Yes, I did it already. Nothing helps.
I spend the second day with this problem and do not come forward.
you already tried another cable and another PC? then probably usb jack is faulty. you shouldn't flash anything via usb then!
I am not the one who told you - you could try other flash tools. do not flash, just try to read back for now...

Somebody else, who maybe has an idea?
I found this discription of the error:
The phone seems always be on. With power button I can only "restart" it. How can I shut it down?
Is there a tool I can use for switch the phone off?
Or maybe cmd-command for shutting down the device on com-port? I cannot find anything in internet. Only with adb. But I have no connection to adb, the phone is over adb not rearchable.
Maybe someone can show me the test point for this smartphone?
