I'm looking for an Android tablet, preferably under $200.
Features wanted:
Preferably upgradable to Froyo (by rooting etc)
I don't care about resistive/capacitive, and Galaxy Tab is too expensive
Thanks
I would get the Hauwei Ideos S7 because it is unlocked and you can use it as a 7" phone.
Being a new Verizon customer myself, how do you activate this on Verizon? (Always an AT&T/TMobile customer before, SIM all the way...) xD
You can only activate things that verizons sells on verizon.
I would do a AT&T GoPhone or T-Mobile prepaid option for this baby
I would check att first, with tmo you will only get 2g/edge network. Other than that, its fine.
Sent from Jt's Samsung Galaxy Tab!!
I'm on T-Mobile network, but my phone was purchased from the Google store, so not a T-Mobile branded device.
I'm rooted stock 5.0.1 right now, and wondering if this OTA ROM will be the T-Mobile version or just vanilla Google?
I'd actually like the T-Mobile version with the Wi-Fi calling feature - I've always been disappointed that unless I purchase a T-Mobile branded phone (exactly the same device) I can't have this feature. Obviously I need to remove a lot of the T-Mobile boat after the fact.
Appreciate replies.
There is no tmo version of any nexus firmware. And WiFi calling is not available on the n5.

Any benefit from flashing AT&T SM-G930A onto a MetroPCS SM-G930T1? Worth? Not Worth?
I just bought the cheapest S7 I could find on eBay, a MetroPCS one. I have AT&T, so I'm going to just unlock it and be on my way. Is there any benefit to flashing the AT&T stock firmware, since Samsung released all the stocks. Is there a measurable difference in bloat or connectivity with matching firmware and carrier? Or anything else along these lines? As they are both locked down Snapdragons I doubt there's any fear of playing around, but does anyone know if its worth whatever little effort it would take?
Where are all the stock versions of the roms for G930A variant? Where can I download it?
Hi there,
I was wondering if anybody knows or had experience with flashing Sprint Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U) with other carrier firmware eg. T-Mobile or AT&T?
I have Sprint Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950U) Unlocked, however I'm T-Mobile customer and would like to turn phone into T-Mobile phone. Currently phone works fine no problems at all, but I do have some features missing due to my phone is not T-Mobile. I don't have Wi-Fi calling and I cannot use hot-spot or tethering features that are available on T-Mobile phones. Perhaps there are some other features are missing that I'm not aware of.
PS. I had successful experience flashing T-Mobile firmware onto my GS7 Sprint some time ago, wondering if there is a way to do the same on GS8 Sprint. I've already tried to flash firmware from T-Mobile for GS8, odin would upload firmware to the phone however after restart during installation i'd get an error at 32% then phone restarts without any changes.
Would really appreciate any help or advice.
Thank you in advance
Green

Title says it all, thinking about paying off my s8 and s8+ on ATT and switching to T-Mobile. Want to use their one plus feature though, will the native hotspot work or do I need to buy T-Mobile phones?
