I just got my gTab today, put VEGAN 5.1, added the SUPPL and flashed Pershoots Kernel.
I only get 1800-2100 on Quadrant. Ive heard of 3000+, anyone know how?
And if its a different kernel what do I need to whipe when switching?
First off, you're in the wrong forum, you need to read through the development forum for details on kernels and ROM's
I'm running Calkulin's ROM with one of Clemsyn's Kernels and score between 2200 and 2400 quadrant scores. Your scores will vary from kernel to kernel and ROM to ROM. Remember quadrant scores don't mean everything.
Also, if you read through the ROM and kernel threads, you'll likely see others post their quadrant scores with those ROMs.
I have a new gtab with a fresh install of Calkulins v1.1 g-tab rom and I bounce between 2400 and 2650 on Quadrant standard
I got 2320 with Calkulin's ROM and Clemsyn's #7 kernel.

I flashed and install my cm7 yesterday.
Checked my quadrant score and I get 3500!
it is twice as much as the stock rom.
Which kernel should I use if I wanted to overclock?
i have a rooted tf and i was just wondering what is the best stable/not buggy rom to flash onto my device
Quick reply:
1. If you're rooted go with Prime 1.5 great rom everything you need.
2. Wrong spot to post, if I were you report this post before you get flamed at by the "trolls".
well im a sorta noob lol dont get to pissed
There aren't really that many mods out yet since we don't have the source code. All the Rome now are just customized 3.1 roms. I'd say prime 1.5 is the best with magnus supreme and clemsyns roms being based off of them.
Read my sig,i think thats whats best.
prime 1.5 is a great ROM, but Clemsyn has OC kernel that I find to be awesome.

ok, stupidly i installed madaco rom v7 and i hate it is there a way to install prime over this?
I am using Revolver 0.2 and loving it so far! It is a fast ROM that just seems to work out-of-box. Wth other ROMS I have had issues that needed fixing after flashing the ROM but with Revolver things just seem to work out-of-box. Very happy with Revolver.
just installed my first custom rom and decided to go for the clemsys one
for me it just rocks, stable, fast and with the battery profiling in combination with pimpmycpu, this thing just flies when it needs to and powersaves when it doesn't
im with prime 1.6 its do 3300 on smartbench productive test no OC
games score is 2300
I went with Revolver 1.0.1 on top of a stock rooted 3.1 and I'm quite happy. Easy to do, worked the first time, OC'd and not too much mucked with. Just the way I like it.
I give up on trying to figure it out for myself.. but whyyy does oxygen 2.2.2 get better quadrant scores than other roms with the same kernel flashed over the top (matrix)
Ive used the peter alfonzo rom, stock odexed rom, and oxygen all with the matr1x kernel 6.0 flashed over them. All overclocked to 1.44 ghz. Oxygen gets 3500 ish, while the other two only can net a 2600 or so.
Any ideas? i know quadrant means nothing, but i cant wrap my head around this.

Haven't checked Oxygen recently, but what you describe feels like something related to IO or db syncing.
That would make sense. Would something like just boost benchmark scores or is there a real world performance boost? I'm not sure if oxygen feels any faster than say a stock grj90 rom that is overclocked.

I've gotten 5000 on cm7 and Trinity, wouldn't say oxygen is faster on its own

sent from my nexus s on a kang from simms
some questions i jst thought i had to start a thread for it
what is the fastest ICS sense rom?
what is the fastest ICS nonsense rom?
what is the best kernel with each rom?(highest availble pls)
can you pm me with benchmark results of the rom if u have.(u dont have to go though the trouble) all benchmarks pls from antutu benchmark
ran ARHD, hypernonsense, virtuous, insertcoin RCmix by my knowledge that are just some good roms. only thing i care about is that i have beats and a pretty damn fast 1,7 ghz rom
also a question standing aport from the above main question:
anyone playing mc3 has loading isseus like only maploading takes a minut or 2? anyone knows how to get the faster loading(heard it could go in 10 or 20 sec) tryed moving to sd and phone
1. ARHD is pretty fast on 6.2.1 and with 1.7ghz kernel I had ~3300 points, with 1.5ghz ~ 2900 (in quadrant)
2. Hypernonsense IMO is the best as nonsense rom on stock kernel (1,2) I have now 2600 (quadrant)
3. As I know there's only one available kernel for ICS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424345 It's overclocked stock kernel.

thanks funny part is im switching between those 2 roms now
Hello everyone from XDA forum. I am new to everything in this forum lol. I currently have TF300T tablet running the latest 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and Build 10.6.1.15.3. After a week of research over the internet, I have finally unlocked my boot loader and rooted the tablet. I followed the directions from the top of the page of this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2204166 on how to install the new [CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.6.9]. My flashing steps are as follow.
1. Made a nandroi backup with twerp TWRP 2.5.0.0
2. While still in TWRP I hit install CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.6.8. Zip when finish I wipe dalvik and cache after rom flash
3. I then hit install again and flash CROMI-X 4.6.9 System Patch Download 1 - 151.88 KB when finish I wipe dalvik and cache after rom flash
4. Booted into system successfully and let the system stay idle for 10 minutes (assuming this is what stabilzing the rom meant)
5. I ran quadrant and only got a score improvement from 3393 stock to a 4601 with the cromi 4.6.9 as oppose to the 6614 score shown on the [CROMi-Xenogenesis 4.6.9] forum page
So my main concern is did I do something wrong in the process of installing the custom rom? I really want to get that quadrant score of 6614. If anyone from the team can help I be much appreciated. Thank you
The screenshot showed the result from the TF700 which obviously have a faster CPU then the 300. You should look at the individual scores at the bottom or you can flash a custom kernel to overclock your device. Even then, I don't understand why you are distressing yourself over something of such trivial significance.
Hint Hint http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40919820&postcount=71 ive got benchmarks of 7000 with it on cromi. Which is about he same as most tf700s, only the tf700 has higher overclocked kernels available, higher revisions of our cpu should be able to handle the same overclocks, but there isn't a high oc kernel to test yet

Well the reason I unlock my tablet was to unleash its full potential with a stable overclock thats why I wanted to reach the "6614" score on quadrant. Anyway, thanks for clarifying. I didn't know that it was a tf700 score, just assume that installing that rom would yield a higher score.

Hey JoinTheReamls, that's an awesome score. Didnt think it was possible to bench that high on a tf300t. Is that kernel from the link you shown provide a stable over clock for a 24/7 a day usage? If not are there any other kernel that's compatible with my current custom ROM? If the rom you mention is stable, how would I go about installing this kernel on my tf300t running 4.2.1 Cromi 4.6.9? Please be thorough with your installation step as I am still fairly a noob. Thank you

That kernel is completely stable for me and should be for you to, if it isnt for you there is a kernel in that thread with 1.75ghz overclock that will be.
installation is very easy, just reboot to twrp and flash the zip. No need for any wipes, this is the same for most android kernel install across most devices
Enjoy
I am pretty sure the Quadrant scores are based on performance mode selected. Try that. I'm getting close to 6000 if I do this.

You should be able to get over 6000 on the TF300 with Hunds kernel. That's will probably be 1000 less.

I flash the 1.8 GHz kernel with cromi and it was not stable when I increase frequency to 1.8ghz. Then flash the 1.75 GHz and has been stale for the past two days .
