Is possible port Gtalk from Honeycomb to Gingerbreas?
If it´s possible, we will can make video chats.

[APP Request] HDMI framework from 2.1

noob here.
upgraded to rooted froyo. Have tried caulin's, fresh, virus and cm6 roms (various iterations) and while each is awesome in its own right, none have allowed me to show a slideshow (gallery) via HDMI. Worked on 2.1, and video out via HDMI works ok.
Is it possible to get the HDMI framework from 2.1 onto 2.2- so this functionality works? I know everyone is working hard to get HDMU UI out, but would this be possible temporarily?

[Q] Video Chat

How complicated would it be to create a Video Chat app? The app would be able to work with 3G/4G/Wifi
I know there is Yahoo Messenger w/Video and Tango already, but I still would like to develop my own.
Thanks

[Q] GTALK videochat over 3g

Can someone post an apk for gtalk with video chat. I currently have 2.3.4 but would like to use the video chat over 3g/4g and not just wifi...
I saw one in the android forum, but no one can confirm it works 100%.
No APK is needed... mod sql database.

[Q] front facing camera?

what exactly is this for? i dont see an option for it when calling and the phone didnt come with a program for video calls? is it in the making?
well, you can take pics of yourself to upload onto facebook if your into that kind of thing. Sure beats the little chrome dot that your supposed to use as a mirror LOL
I am sure at some point there will be Skype and other programs that will and can use it. Just a matter of time
facing camera is for purpose using the video conference or taking a picture of yourself for some purpose like facebook or update your new face.
You can just download Tango or skype app or whatever your favorite video conference app.
You need the leaked skype.apk for skype video calling which on Sense 2.2 works great. CM7 also has Gtalk with video mostly working. I haven't tried Tango yet but I'm sure it works as well for video chatting.
I have used it with Yahoo Messenger with the video chat plugin and it works great.
Still waiting (patiently.....) for vid-chat support on Google Talk.

[Q] How to get video on Gtalk

I have a Galaxy S I9000, that was bought with Froyo Version, after reading a few things someone said that with Gingerbread version gtalk would have video, so I found the ROMs, and updated it to version 2.3.4 witch is a lot faster then the original one, but I open Gtalk and can´t see any video icon to start using Video with contacts? It seams that is not funcional outside US, so how to overcame the situacion?
