Nice design!
I love it, very nice.
But please, switch the Home button with the App Drawer one.

The design is very nice ! Good job.
Wow, that is totally my style! Superclean minimalistication! Nice work man, but don't you think it's a little too early to complain about no one commenting on your design? I'd say keep doing this (from your heart) and do NOT expect any expectations from anybody. Your actions will produce something so sick then the flock willl follow you! Keep up the great work man.
Awesome! Want!

Looks really good! Aluminium + thin device = win.
XDAtv
This just made XDAtv news. I love it!
Fine piece of art. 4,3 inch 3D screen should be standard.
PM me when preorders begin
Nice start
Nice curve design
Ho about 4 buttons I think hey are to close to screen.
May try to make version with full glass touch front..??
How about instead key's just touch''mutitouch'' screen...
Can someone think about SmartMob just with volume key up down.
..reset
Great team isn´t it?

trackball?
nice ... loved the aluminium look and the buttons at the bottom .. gives a very sophisticated look ... congrats on the website too ... a suggestion (sry this is off topic) .. use this "outline: none;" css on the search box to get rid of the orange box around it when you click inside it .. ...looking forward to your next design already ..
That's a pretty sweet design. Nice work.
Minimalism <3
This is a great design. Like others said it before me, i love the looks. Aluminum + a much more minimal HTC sense looks awesome.
I would definitely buy one. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Nice design, maybe a good price and will break the market
Who cares about bulk and weight (within reason of course) make sure to put an awesome, large battery in it.

excellent work, can't wait for you to bring it to us
Having played with an iPhone before, I'm really curious on how the feel and performance of this app is going to be compared to the prior.
Good luck! and count me in for the trial!
Cheers.

Brilliant video, looks very promising. Good luck
Looks real nice. However, it did seem to lag from time to time. I wonder how much of that was related to the known Cruise problems vs the code being still tweaked/optimized.
iTask has been released.

I didn't see any other thread for this so:
http://theunlockr.com/2009/10/16/what-new-htc-android-phone-is-this/
Wonder what it could be?
It's the HTC Zoom 2 (HTC Dragon). Spec's say maybe released Dec. 2009:
http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=2067&c=htc_zoom_2_htc_dragon
Looks like the Android version of the HD2 many people have been wishing for. Nice to have choices right?
Hm, I really hope it's not. Don't really like the looks of it.
Though IF it is the HTC dragon, it would be easier for me to choose the HD2 (out sooner + sexier ). It is a shame though, as I would have enjoyed trying out Android. Ah well... maybe next time.
Is it me or do the pictures look rather stretched. The screen looks way too long and narrow. It's not proportined right. The looks aren't that great either.
If this is the Android-version of the HD2, then they really screwed up the design, It looks like **** compared to the Touch HD2.
Plus its much bigger with that added chin for the trackball.
They should add the trackball between the buttons and skip that bottom chin.
What you all complaining about? I think it looks great.

It's not ugly. It just doesn't look as nice as the HD2 in my opinion.
Ok Someone else call Shananigans with me.......... This is more than a likely photoshopped Samsung Moment. Look at them both.

Yeah. But the eris is supposedly the Verizon Hero. So why they are pushing the moto Droid more than that IDK. Probably cause the screen aint no 4.3 inches.
Would be cool if the Eris was the Dragon though. But IDK.
http://phonedog.com/cell-phone-rese...ee-k-i-s-s-say-android-phones-are-coming.aspx
Screen doesn't look big enough neither does the device. The phone the other guy is hodlding is the Droid.
So mebe they took the Eris/Desire and photoshoped that picture so the screen was stretched and phone look bigger? Look at how stretched the Android bot is in one of those pictures where it's in landscape mode.
That phone looks like a shopped Droid Eris which is basically a Verizon Hero. Moto Droid all the way though.
Why soooo much of hoax circulating around. Just like with Leo b4 it ws announced?
It wont be called Dragon or Passion, but Bravo and its expected to be released late Q1, early Q2 of 2010 wearing 3.7'' and not 4.3 screen and many others....

Nobody spoken about an Android-based HD2 and neither did I. I just said that the device which the topic/thread is about (and so are the photos which are circulating) will be released as i have priorly stated on end of March (Q1) start of April (Q2) of 2010, as i have seen all the devices portfolio live, on my hands, a week ago.
Any idea what CPU its running? I like the idea of an android handset, but not if its using the same old MSM as my current TD2.

Guys, the forthcoming on April 2010, Android handset which will be finally called as HTC Bravo has nothing to do with the picture which was circulation over the net for quite a while. The device looks great from any point of view and as member nizzon correctly stated before, i can confirm to all of you, that the rounded red-coloured trackball will be between the buttons at the bottom of the device. The device is slim with perfect design and with really nice specs.
Wrongly many stated that Bravo is the Android side of Leo (HD2) as the only same feature which is maintained from Leo is the Snapdragon QSD 8250 1GHz CPU and many others have been added in advanced as the HD 720p Video caprure.
Will post you shortly exclusively 1-2 pictures to have a look, along with the offcial specs known so far
That sounds awesome dude!

Shortly...? Where are the pictures, then???
Im sorry i haven't posted it so far but will do it as my work was pilled up and to be honest nobody showed interest so far, thats why i skipped it as well. To be honest what i will provide, are scanned brochured images, as these are the only ones found out there, but will open a new thread, specifically for HTC Bravo and us usual...exclusively here on xda.devs
Damn, this thing makes other keyboards look like a printing press! Looks like Google just acquired them so maybe we'll be seeing it on an Android soon? BlindType keyboard!

yeah, looks great for people with big fingers (or all thumbs) lol. XDA is like a Raiders of the Lost Ark flick, someone in here will discover a source for this treasure and bring it to the masses.
That looks freakin' awesome... I'm assuming there's not apk for it yet, right? (Just high hopes.. :-D)
Hopefully we'll see it in future editions of the OS, since google bought it.
Sick!!!!!!!!!!!!! How much and when!?!?!?
Blindtype was recently acquired by google fwiw.
Yeah I saw this a while back. Stock keyboard is pretty good with predicitng for me already, but this looks cool
I don't really like these things because when you type something that isn't in the dictionary it's ridiculously annoying.
http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=blindtype++apk&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
This looks SICK! I have to have this for sure...do we have any idea on an ETA?
Google bought them out on 10/1... so the good new is theres bound to be an android option.
Bad news is that they will likely be a litle slow getting it out now that the company has the red tape of the google purchase they need to weed through before they can ge back to R&D.
Does anyone else out there think ICS looks like complete ****? I watched the leaked nexus video on YouTube that was released a few days ago and the first thing that came to mind was omfg look how ****ty that looks. I know I know *puts on flame suit* . I just can't get over the fact that ICS is the best thing that they could come up with I mean we are talking about Google here, were some of the brightest minds in America go to work. I just don't know, what are your guys thoughts? I feel they could create something a little bit more appealing with better Widgets idk let me know what you guys think...

I think it's beautiful.
Today's Live Wallpaper sucked dicks though.
The only thing I disliked were the on-screen buttons, but today's presentation made me feel less icky about it.
I love the look of ICS
I think its awesome and I like the new font theyve created as well
looks much better than all the earlier versions of android
It looks nice but not quite what I was hoping for.
They killed the menu button and use the wp7 like … icon. Wonder how the interface will be unit galaxy nexus runs gingerbread apps.

Like on Honeycomb tablets I think a button will appear along the 3 existing ones.
I also was expecting more. I'm a bit dissapointed
.
By the way, shouldn't be this topic on Android general forum?
I absolutely love how ICS looks. I adore the understated look and smooth transitions. The sold solid colors and Metro inspired design-language looks just fine to me. It is disappointing that the design of Ice Cream Sandwich is receiving so much negativity.
At least Gizmodo agrees that is is beautiful, and maybe that will help calm others a bit.
I think I kind of see a bit of disappoint. I think there was a bit too much speculation over it. There's always CyanogenMod

Just thought I'd share that. Who else thinks it would look gorgeous ported to our One X's?
I'm sure the all mighty devs will have something when it's released with source (if that happens.)
Looks very iPhone to me.
Of course, variety in ROMs and different UI experiences are always welcome, IMO (if somebody is willing to port).
I'd actually say more WP7 than iOS.
The tile system and lay out of widgets.

Yeah, I was more thinking the app icons (simpler, bigger icon than typical on Android). Look very much like ripoffs of the iOS look. But there is def some WP7 inspiration in there too, for sure.
I honestly do NOt think it would look gorgeous . It looks 10 years old.

Do you mean dated or immature/gimmicky?
Personally, I think it looks good visually, but from a usability standpoint I don't see how it's better than anything else out there. Plus, all the animations and gimmicky stuff is just a bit too overwhelming.
I'm a fan of open screens. This looks nice, but way to cluttered.
The icons are terrible. Why do most UIs have the fake glass and chrome and such?
If anything WP7 has been so refreshing because it doesn't clutter the screen up with tons of fluff. Stock ICS Holo theme is pretty decent with the blue highlighting and mainly black themes. Then again many Android apps ignore guidelines...
