[Q] Black screen (sorry for this!) - HTC Inspire 4G

Hey guys, sorry about this thread. I'm usually good at finding information on my own to fix my problems but none of what I've been able to find has helped me yet.
I have an Inspire and it was rooted and running CM7 RC3. I wanted to flash CM6 just to play around with stock Froyo and now I'm stuck on a black screen. I read that pulling the battery and pressing volume down+power will bring me to the bootloader but that's not working for me. It just brings me to the HTC screen and fades back to black. Any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance.

any help people? i went to flash a kernal and this happened to me..nothing works.. it just fades to black and will si there for thirty mins bfore i pull the battery.. not even factory reset PLEASE HELP

[Q] Desire S stuck on boot - cant get to recovery

Hi,
I will prefix this (as there are a few people around with this problem who can get into recovery mode) with the fact that holding down Vol- on boot is not getting me to the recovery / bootloader screen.
I have a rooted HTC Desire S (rooted it nearly a year ago, so info about the hboot etc is a distant memory).
Anyhoo, I decided to have a play about with one of the ICS roms but it was a bit buggy and the camera drivers still aren't working for video so I decided to go back to Endymion V3.4 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1310845
I did a full wipe, installed base rom, installed optional addons and then upgraded to 3.4 - booted fine into the OS so set about getting my system set up the way I like it.
I noticed that endy came with a theme installer so clicked on one of them to have a look, it asked for root, said it was installed and would need to reboot to take effect...
SO
the problem is, it now won't boot and is stuck on the white HTC boot screen.
Holding vol+/- and power buttons reset it but it just ends up back hanging on the boot screen.
Have tried pulling battery and trying again.
Holding Volume Down when powering up is no longer doing anything
So, I either need a saviour to point me in the direction of a fix.. or a kindly sould to break it to me gently when they tell me my phone has gone to the USB Dock in the sky..
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
update:
After pulling battery again, pulling out sim and sd cards, booting with vol- held down, i got into recovery. Am going to try and flash a different rom after doing a full wipe, I'll update once it's done but any insights in the meanwhile will still be appreciated
Sorted, cleared the thing out, stuck reaper CM rom on it, rebooted and everything is peachy for now.
Thanks me
Curious if anyone knows why this might have happened?
because you didnt flash the addon zip which was released alongside endymon and then tried to use the addons,it does say on the screen do not use these unless you have installed the addons

[Q] Kindle Fire CM9 ROM Power On Problem

Hello, everyone.
I just got a Kindle Fire, rooted it and installed the CM9 ROM from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528024 The whole thing runs very smoothly, and I like it very much. Many thanks to NRGZ28 for developing it!
But when I power it off and power it on again, I am stuck with a blank screen (I would have posted this problem on the ROM's thread, but I am a new member). It just stays like that unless I press the power button again to turn it off. I tried flashing the ROM once more, but the results are the same. Any solutions?
Please don't give me overly-complicated instructions. I am a noob after all!
Note: When the Fire is powered on, it shows a yellow triangle (TWERP recovery's) for a few seconds and then goes blank. But choosing the rebooting option in the ROM itself works just fine. It turns off and then on without problems.
try this it works for me
Hi, I'm not a very expertized user but I have had the same problem.
What I have done to fix it was to wipe the cahche and the devilk cache when I get to the recovery screen before rebooting the system.
Before doing that my problem was solved.
Please tell me if this worked for you.
Best regards!

Liquid ICS - Frozen!

Hey everyone... yes I'm the noob here.
Was rooting my Thunderbolt using the 'All in one tool' which went great and worked fine.
Went to install the Liquid ICS ROM, seemed to install correctly - said it was successful on the phone. Then I rebooted the Tbolt and now I am stuck with the bubble that says 'Liquid ROM ICS' and it just sits there... No response from touching the screen, even the power button doesn't work. When I remove the battery and replace, I turn the phone back on and the bubble is back...
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Eric
Also having this problem, tried rebooting, and even re-installing the ROM. No Success. Please let me know if you find a solution!!

[Q] Stuck in Boot and Wont Load Recovery

Sorry everyone for this annoying post but I have done research enough to think that I may be out of luck so you guys are my last hope here.
Here is the senario;
I have been running Cyanogenmod 12 (courtesy of Sultan). Once the ROM was discontinued I decided to give Paranoid 5.1 a shot. I downloaded the new rom, suggested SuperSU and Gapps and booted to the most up to date TWRP. I flashed the rom, then supersu, and finally Gapps and then rebooted my phone. The phone stayed in the boot screen for about 45 minutes (maybe even an hour) so I powered off the phone, pulled the battery, and attempted to boot back into recovery using the power and volume buttons but nothing was working. The phone would just keep vibrating (pulsing) until i let the buttons go and then jump right back into the booting screen until I turned the phone off again. Hopefully I am doing something wrong and there is an easy fix but Im afraid that I now havae a brick on my hands.
Please help,
SuperNewb
[Update]
Now the phone will hold the boot screen for a couple minutes then the screen just goes black. Not sure what that means.
Also, just so you guys dont think im too ignorant, I will say that I I have flashed at least 10 different ROMs before this so I would like to think that I have a decent understanding of how this all should work.
My mistake on posting this question here. I have reposted in the Q&A Forum.
