Porting Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)

Hey devs,
Recently HTC released HTC Wildfire S which has same processor as Mini,same resolution,etc
OS Kernel version is 2.6.35
Will it be possible to port it to Mini?

Isn't it possible to use the original Android made by google instead of using the Android which is ripped from other HTC devices?

first focus on the current version
once we have fixed the main bugs we can think about porting it to upper android versions
unless some other devs join us...

I´m agree, i don´t understand the fight, but why close the thread for one person if you can see that´s this thread was see for more 4800 people?.

Are there already some developers who want to work on the Optimus 3D? It would be great and i had great experience with the work of developers on my HTC Hero. So let me/us know i YOU are a developer of a coming custom rom for the Optimus 3D!

You really should ask the creator before porting themes etc..Had you jabba would have told you he is working on a .apk and doesn't want people to post his theme.

I checked it out and you did a pretty good job

Erm why did you take it down? And if you're not the original dev then can you guide me to the original one's thread? This is without a doubt the best cm7 theme I had for a while now.

because the original themer is making an official theme manager port himself.

Thanks. Btw you indeed have done a great job on porting this, only thing needed fixing IMO was the pull down icons instead of the stock cm7 ones and a morph for the lockscreen. Cheers buddy and btw, I'll keep on running this till it's dev comes up with a better one

Chingy just posted a new build of his gingeritis rom. Hopefully this is more stable and better with the battery than the last leak.

I know nothing about all that (never used any of chingy's roms or read his forum), I was just aware of the drama that made chingy leave. It's probably what you think it is though (the topic title).

Wondering if this leak is along the lines of an official Gb rather than a test version.

Yeah CyanogenMod is a AOSP developer and builds all of his ROMs and his development team's ROMs from source. This is one of the main reasons why all CM ROMs run so smooth and are so liked by the masses. So no ICS from Cyanogen until the source is released. I mean have people not ever noticed that there is no CM ROMs out for any Honeycomb tablet?????

Whoever picks this up I would like to be a beta tester.
