I can tell you that the way to NOT install a ROM is to join a forum and have your first (or second) post be "How the hell do I put a rom on my phone???". In fact, you are flirting with being banned but I'll leave that up to the moderators. Read, read, and read. Look at the stickies and search. I made it easy in my signature. Take care now.

[Q] What is the "Multitasking Mod" - CleanRom

So I am currently running CleanROM Standard 3.0 and saw the update for 3.1. I am looking to flash the Dev version for all the goodies but there was a post about the multitasking mod. I am wondering if this is a separate mod I need to flash or one already built into 3.1.1? If this is a separate flash, can someone linky me to the relevant post? thanks.

For those trying to get from 2.3.6 to ICS

Ive been so frustrated trying to find the correct files to do this flash then finally found the golden thread in the general section

everything is straight foward just remember these steps:
Get back to 2.3.5 stock---OTA to 2.3.6----then Flash the blur ICS in this link above follow the steps and then you can finally join the SC7 Crew:highfive:

:good: Thanks for this. If we are on other ROM (2.3.6), what is the logic of going back to 2.3.5 then 2.3.6 again?

I posted this in the dev section so itd be easier for people to find jim ure thread is in the general section when imo that should be stickied in the dev portion easier to find all the correct files under one thread

The Dev section is for stuff that people made such as mods Roms and kernels (for phones with unlocked BL's). Jim didn't make the ICS leak he just posted directions on how to install ergo it should be in general.

[Q] How to downgrade?

Hey guys I'm on a rooted ics rom, and while it's nice and all, it just doesnt suit me, so I was wondering how to downgrade back to gingerbread, if it matters, I plan on using the octane rom, because I really liked the battery. Anyway so I'm sure I dont just flash octane right? Thank you in advance.

Yes. You need to do that and flash the bootloaders to get off of MTD and back onto BML. Search those and you'll have a better understanding
