Switched from cyans nightlies to MIUI for a bit and am trying to get my home screen looking the same..
Only problem I'm having is finding the CM nexus live wallpaper. I downloaded nexusmod from the market which is the same options but it doesn't work. Could someone pull the wallpaper from cyans rom for me? I tried finding the correct file but was unsuccessful - I'm not too sure where to look for the correct file and where to place it once I do find it.
Did you try using Nexuskang LWP? By default it should look exactly like the Cyanogenmod LWP.
EDIT: If that doesn't work and you still need it, I'm running CM7. I'll pull it for you & post it.

Hey,
I currently have geo's gingerbread on my nexus one, and I want the Mms.apk that's in CM7.
I mainly want to be able to switch to the black background and change the font size. I've looked online and found older mms.apk's but they would just force closed after being installed.
Can anyone help me here and point me in the right direction?
Download a cyanogen rom and extract it

I'm not sure, but I think this is what you are looking for (extracted from a CM rom)
I have extracted and pushed it, but it won't start and not even show in the app launcher. trying to search for it elsewhere.

thank you so much for who ever may help ill post the working ones in this thread right after so others can enjoy the nice ICS look
Which ROM are you using exactly?
I know it says 'cm7' in the title, but is it CM7 you're using, or a ROM based on it? And what version of it?
Edit: Or did you get it handled in the threads there?
I just downloaded Sonny's ICS CM7 theme from the market and use the stock ADW launcher. It themes the icons, Widgets, keyboard, all kinds of things. On his xda thread he has themes for other launchers but stock has been looking great. Very easy. I haven't flashed the new font but might.
I haven't screwed with the lockscreen.
G2x - 2.3.7 CM7
Transformer - 3.2 Revolver OC/UV
so far im using cm7 nightlies i do the flash and undo then flash again but still nothing D:
Hey guys, thought I'd share this.
I'm currently running Virtuous Inquisition v3.0.0. Love senseless, but the one thing I do miss is the weather app.
I managed to get it working.
Just download this file and install all the apks (not sure if they're all necessary). Copy the weather folder to system/media if you want the animations.
http://testroete.com/temp/htc_sense_ics_weather.zip
I got these files from this release:

Would have posted this in the virtuous ics thread, but I'm not at 10 posts yet.

How did you get this to work? I installed all the apk's, put the videos in the folder, the weather app will start, but won't do anything else.

I just wanted to let you know, that the First link is dead.
Thank you
Hi, this is my first time posting a thread so I'm sorry if I put it in the wrong place.
My question is about live wallpaper support, I recently flashed a CyanogenMod 10 ROM to my Galaxy 5 GT-I5500 device. It works well however to keep the size of the rom small enough to fit on the device the developer removed live wallpapers. I would like to add live wallpaper support back into the rom myself. I have tried adding livewallpaperpicker.apk into the system apps folder with no joy. It copied in but did nothing after reboot. I was wondering if anyone has a flashable .zip file or something that I can use in Clockworkmod? Any help with this issue would be appriciated.
This will surely kill your device
As you know the RAM of CM10 is low and a live wallpaper uses so much RAM that you will expirience random reboots
Not a good idea.
Ypu could only extract a CM7 ROM and install the live wallpaper chooser.apk
Sent from Nowhere

Yeah I posted this straight after flashing before I realised how low ram i had. im not even running cm10 anymore
I know there are apps and themes to make CM7 look like JB....but they're honestly crappy in comparison to the real thing. I'm trying to take a cm10 ROM and port over the necessary images and XML's to make make it a jelly bean ROM operating on CM7 2.3.7 I've been attempting to take shortcuts with theming and porting programs I have found on XDA but none of them have been able to do the trick. I really do NOT feel like sifting through each and every PNG and renaming hundreds of pictures. What is the best route to go about doing this?
You need the bulk rename utility. I think that would work nicely.

I just gotta add... the ui is horrendous but it's otherwise a very useful tool
lol I have it! Been using it for months. I really like to mod battery icons and taking battery icon packs from other phones and porting it to ours you need that tool.....I use to rename each battery PNG one by one...lol. Even with bulkrename I still have to go through all the images and choose which ones to transfer over. There are images in CM10 that just do not exist/have no place in CM7, namely in the Framework-res. Screw it, i'll just take the long way and do it one by one lol
Edit- nevermind. No way do I possess the patience to do this manually lol. I found what seems to be a promising theme porting program. I'm gonna give it a shot as soon as I get home. If I can just get the framework and systemui modded correctly ill post an update.zip here for you guys to flash if ya want

So the first few ports CWM wouldn't even flash my zips lol. It just said "installation aborted, what the hell are you trying to feed me, stop it." The next 3 or so flashes I actually got the zip to flash, and start to install but I kept getting a status 7 error which is apparently something wrong with the permissions. So went back, edited permissions from updater script and flashed zip, update installed and the phone freezes on blue LG logo. Nandroids are <3. SO..I'm kind of back to square 1 here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768194 this is the theme porter I was using. Now....I don't actually have a "theme" that I'm trying to port....it's just a CM10 ROM I grabbed from the dev forum for G2x that I want to transfer the cosmetics over to CM7. I'm no guru in android modding and I certainly don't program or write scripts so I'm pretty much stuck. I would really like to transfer the skin/cosmetics of a cm10 JB rom over to vanilla CM7. Basically what I'm here to ask the more experienced android user is this- is it even possible to do what I am trying to do? I know since CM10 is a different firmware than CM7 it makes things awkward so someone let me know if I'm wasting time and I should just find a sweet JB theme somewhere to port over to my device for CM7.
