So I just installed traffic monitor on my phone, anyone know why superuser is sending and receiving data?

When juice defender is on and I am home or any where there is wifi, I cannot receive or send mms since it automatically disables mobile data.
Has anyone found a way to get mobile data to turn on and off automatically for mms purposes when using juice defender?
It not a huge deal for sending as I can enable data manually, but this isn't a solution for receiving since I don't know when someone is sending me a picture message.
To make things even more frustrating, my girls phone is sending and receiving mms fine and she's using the same version and settings in jd.
Hi all,
My S3 is running Bonestock 3.4 (Android 4.1.2) and I've noticed that, if I am running on wifi (4G data is still on), I can receive MMS messages (e.g., group messages, pictures, videos are sometimes sketchy), but I cannot send any type of MMS message, whether it is a response to a group message or photos/videos. If I turn off wifi and re-send the message, it will go through fine.
FYI - I am using the stock Samsung messaging app, but I had the same issue w/ Hangouts.
It's my understanding that MMS requires mobile data. For what it's worth, when I am on wifi, my mobile data is still turned on. I was wondering if there is some sort of workaround for this, or if it will be necessary for me to disable wifi any time I want to send an MMS message.
As far as workarounds go (and as weird as this may sound), I would prefer not installing a 3rd party messaging app.
Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi,
Facing issue with Samsung J7 on mobile data with WhatsApp and few other messengers.
Settings - Data usage - WhatsApp - Restrict background data would be initially disabled by default where messages would flow to my inbox without any issue.
Without me changing the preference, it would automatically be enabled and stop receiving messages till I open WhatsApp or I manually change the preference to disable mode. This keeps on repeating It happens only with mobile data.
Request a solution for this.
Had this problem on lollipop, now updated to official 6.0.1 still the problem persists. I havent rooted my phone nor done any other modifications.
Thanks in advance.
Hi All!
On a S7, I installed the SIGNAL messenger.
To use it without G'Play-Services, I downloaded the last APK from signal.org/android/apk/ and installed it.
It should work w/o G'Services as I read.
But for registering, SIGNAL asks to allow all rights for the G'Play-Services
I dont't want to give Google my contacts, calendars, SMS, Sensors-access and so on.
The S7 works with a Samsung-based ROM and with G'Play-Services. But all G'Play-Services rights are denied.
Does anyone have a hint, how I can activate SIGNAL in non-G'Play-Services-mode?
Have a Nokia 8.1, which was recently upgraded to Android 10 Q.
Have been noticing that the phone sends SMS or at least shows the SMS sending notification on screen.
But there is no sent message in the SMS app. Need help to remove any possible malware from the phone.
Have not installed any dodgy apps or given permissions to apps (for sending sms), so am not sure why the phone is behaving like this.

Would appreciate any help provided.
Apologies if this isn't the right place to post this.

When is this happening?
Is this after you buy (or an automatic subscription renewal?) something from Google play store but pay via your carrier? Normally this "DCB-ASSOCIATION" authentication takes place in the background, which might be what you are seeing.
(Some msg apps like Signal do seem to show these msgs)
In this post it's showing... though yours are not showing, possibly just the pop up?

However it could be a sign an app is sending in background that you are unaware off, maybe you can see it on your phone bill. ( Android 10 does allow you to block other apps from sending send sms messages, so only default messaging apps can, you can turn this on in developer settings ... though you should find the source of sms. {Maybe an antivirus will show spyware your loved one has installed on your phone which is sending them your location, aww how sweet} One other possibility is carrier provisioning which sends an sms to set up your network settings, but as far as I know you should get a pop up to do this & I'm not aware if phone sends a confirmation back to your carrier)
