I've got a Huawei u8150 which I just rooted using z4root. Now I'm trying to put it into recovery mode using ultrajackrecovery but when I put it off then put it back on while holding the volume down and end key and connect it to my PC, it says Android 1.0 driver not found. PS. USB debugging is turned on. I need help in finding the right drivers and I'm using a windows 7 64bit pc. Thanks!

Also when I open ultra Jack recovery, it just says "waiting for device".

first of all install adb drivers...they are located at the cdrom partition of the device...when you connect it it should appear...then install those drivers...and boot into bootloader mode(redkey+vol down+power)....then manually install the android bootloader from the device manager...or intall pdanet on the computer and it will automatically install everything
i've done that and it was able to install some drivers when the phone was on. then i put it back off and tried restarting it using vol down and the end key but when it comes on, it still says android 1.0 driver not installed. and ultra jack recovery is also not recognizing it. i think it will after the android 1.0 driver has been installed but i cant find it.
manually install the driver!
right click computer,propeties,device manager..
look for android 1.0
double click it..
reinstall driver..
manually select driver..
look for android devices.
select android bootloader interface and install it.
it WILL work..
(i had the same problem)
THANKS MAN! IT WORKED!! now that im done with this, which rom would you suggest i install?? there's a lot all over and im confused about which one to go with.

READ! This following tutorial will help you install ONLY the LG Drivers NOT the APX drivers needing for ClockWorkMOD..
So I was messing around with how to get the drivers working to my LG G2X.
Using this thread. [Drivers][APP] LG Mobile Support Tool / Nvidia NvFlash APX Driver for LGP999DW G2x
But I could not get it to work this way so I put in my info to the drivers and downloaded the drivers.
It gave me this file I installed it now drivers are working for me. I am now able to get into adb.
So this is a shortened process, therefore you now do NOT need to remove your battery, nor hold any buttons. Simply just install the .exe file (located below)
I don't know if it's 32bit compatible, as I am using a Windows 7 64bit. (Let me know)
Steps:
1. Download this FILE HERE (InstallScript Setup Launcher)
2. Run the .exe file.
3. After installation reboot computer (not necessary, but I did)
4. Plug in your LG G2X (make sure Mass storage only is uncheck)
There you go! Your drivers should be installed very easily without much hassle.

Yes sorry, I used the LGMobile Support Tool.
Went to the Customer Support Tab, Then clicked on (Application and Manual USB Driver.) Entered my S/N and phone type got this download for the G2x Drivers. I just shortened the process and just uploaded the "Driver Installation Tool"

I'm sorry. I just thought I'd share a simple step process of installing drivers. From the others I have read require you to remove your battery, hold vol up and down, and plug in USB cable. This you just simply install and plug in phone.

In order to activate NVFlash support for flashing the recovery partition of the G2x, NVIDIA APX driver has to be installed during NVFlash mode (battery out, Vol up + Vol down. If you can get those drivers to work without doing all that, you da man. Until then, this thread is just another way to install LG's drivers for ADB, SD mounting, etc.
BTW, loved your Hero ROM for the G1

the vol.up\down is to enter the nvidia recovery. the lg drivers are for your pc to see\recognize your phone and it's sdcard. and i think you need them to charge through usb. but i think that's been debunked.

You got the APX driver to install correctly (without having to put your phone in low level flashing mode), and tested nvflash? As well have never installed the APX driver before using the 3 button method?
Please let me know your detailed steps and testing and I will append my post for the oneclick app.

running CM7?
@TGA_Gunnman yes I was running CM7.... but I used my dropbox account and downloaded eagleblood's ROM since I could not mount my sdcard....
My phone is charging, I will update tomorrow to let you know if my sdcard is now being recognized!
You know what's funny? Since my last problem with the drivers/uninstalling I now do not see the nvidia driver under device manager? I think I had erased nvflash option on my pc??? *I used your one click method when I first installed drivers and nvflash* and yes I am able to vol down + power to enter recovery on my phone.
Well, good news after reverting to eagles' rom I am successfully able to mount both my sdcard and external sdcard!!!
I hope once I change back to CM7 I am able to do so as perfect as in the eagles' rom.
BAD NEWS! and cyanogenmod you probably need to take a look at this.. I went back to cm7 and now my drivers are all messed up again or whatever it is I am not able to mount SDcard to PC once again!

Hi guys,
I installed that stupid Rom Manager and ****ed up my CWM. I needed to force coldboot to start my ROM.
Thats why I install a stock ROM from CWM and since then I cant start my transformer anymore. All thats starting is this god damn CWM over and over again.
I tried to using NV Flash, but I cant install the ADB drivers. My device is not recognized as a ADB device, but unknow device. I tried to download 3 different ADB drivers, but no luck. Also I think the device is suppose to beep when going into ADB mode, but mine doesnt.
I can still access CWM and have a stock rom and recovery on it, but installing them doesnt do jack,

Could you be more specific about installing the custom firmware doesn't work? Did you wipe everything completely beforehand?
What did NVFlash tell you? Are you sure you really are in APX mode?

NV Flash tells me that it doesn't recognize the phone. I am not sure if I am in APX mode. I read only that the tablet should make a sound, which it doesn't for me. When I press power+up windows is trying to install a driver though, so I am in some kind of mode.

Windows doesnt allow me to install the drivers for apx when Iam navigating to the driver folder. Tried serveral sources including the naked drivers.
Not so confident that removing drivers will help anything since I wasnt able to install a driver in the first place. I will browse my hardware list and see if there are some things that I can remove and try reinsalling.

Hi guys,
I have quite a problem at the moment.
My power button stopped working, now that would not be too much of a problem as there is much info and help on that.
In an attempt to remap the wake button to the volume buttons I flashed a .zip for JB that should do that.
Problem is: My Boot is stuck at the CyanogenMod boot logo. I would try to reinstall CM but I cannot figure out how to get into recovery
When i go into the bootloader I cannot do anything except stare at it.
Any wizards out there that can help?
Thanks =)
