Hi! I would like to know if it is possible to install Android 2.2/2.3 on Xperia X8. I have looked for it but I'm unsure about it.

yes you can now ,sony had given 2.1 officially,but i prefer 2.2 although has no stable version. still stay for 2.3.

I just flashed Arconium ICS 2.1 on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. Everything is working like a charm, but in device info it says I have the LT15i, which is the non-S version of the arc. It should be LT18i. Is there any way to fix this?

Anybody who can help me root my phone. its a Sony Ericson Experia acro SO 02C (NTTdocomo SO 02C) andriod version 2.3.4. I've tried other rooting method like doomlord4 but doesnt work.
