My phone is a x10i (with wolfbreak's rom naturaly) but I want to buy a phone for my wife (android phone) i'm hesitating between LG GT540 optimus and Xperia X8?
Can you guys help me?
tips:
- she's a sms freak (like all the girls i suppose )
- she calls for like 40 minutes a day
- she wants wifi
- she wants a +2 MP camera
I know both phones runs at 600mhz and GT540 is 130euros and x8 is 180euros.
edit: or another android phone (less than 200 euro)

Well I'm using a GT540, and it is quite customizable, like all android smartphones, but I would recommend the x8 because of its capacitive touchscreen. Then, of course there is the stupid problem with those xperias because they don't have a hardware Call/End Call button, and your wife likes talking, as I see maybe it's better to ask her
erm GT540 FTW. lol anyway gt540 has more custom roms to choose from and after getting it to cm7(well both x8 and gt540 has cm7 port) it can overclock more then x8 and x8's capacitive screen is not that good ... its your choice
I prefer GT540. More customizable, more ROMs ..
The SMS and wifi thing works perfect with GT540.
What else i can say ..

Will i still be able to call people even if i use a European ROM, So say i live in the US or AUS and i install this ROM, will i still be able to call/sms friends, and will they be able to call me?
Stock ROM will do.
But if using a custom ROM use a stable one.

What is the name of the process that is Force Closing?
I got the same problem while i updated it manually.
You can do the following,
> If your phone is in warranty (not rooted) visit the any LG service center and they will install the ROM again correctly w/o any fee or charge.
> If you have rooted your phone and your phone is out of warranty you should install the ROM using KDZ Updater.

Some Chinese Developers of android mipad device have modded the original ADOBE FLASH 10.1 APP for android and made it compatible for most ARMv6 and ARMv7 ( arm 11 family ) devices.
the app is found to be working on most android devices with ARMv6 and ARMv7 phones like LG OPTIMUS ONE , XPERIA X8 , ZTE blade , Samsung prevail, etc..
Instructions:
1. Download and copy to sdcard.
2. Use a file manager and navigate to the apk, install it.
3. Reboot the phone and all done .
Additional notes:
* Make sure to have "unknown sources" enabled on settings > applications.
* It won't work on Opera Mini.

The Jiayu G5 is still not released in the market. But it may be available for pre-order at some online shops. It has 2GB RAM and 32 GB ROM but it also has a cheaper version with 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM. Here is a link to the updated specs of Jiayu G5: http://www.chinaphonereview.com/jiayu-g5
I doubt it will cost that low, but maybe the 1GB RAM version will be closer to that price. Jiayu is one of the better Chinese brands. They have released many good phones with their G-series. The G5 is their fifth in that series and is built with iPhone 5 in mind.
Advanced version mean 2G RAM, 32G ROM. I have bought this phone for 314US$ for advanced version with 2000MAh battery.
This seems like a Chinese phone, I recommend you stay away from it.

Hello , I wanna share with you some experiences with this model , I bought 1 week before.
I bought it around 330 USD , in version 2gb RAM and 32gb ROM.
The phone comes rooted with preinstalled Superuser . U have to install MobileUncleTools to reboot into recovery.
Functional recovery :
Carvliv Touch Recovery 2.2 - tested working
CWM Recovery 6.0.2.8
Carliv Touch Recovery V1.1 + AROMA filemanager
TWRP 2.5.0.0 - tested by chasemyass and working
TWRP the device can be booted by VolumeUp + Power buttons
For the rest the only way to boot into recovery is from MobileUncleTools
Android Version only 4.2.1
Known ROMs :
Stock ROM : Lewa.
Costum ROMS :
vredniiy v2.6.1 mod
vredniiy v2.4 mod
MIUI 4.1.19
Miui v5
Navigation software tested :

Conclusions : Great hardware configuration for the money , very nice design , not very big device (only 4.5" display) , dualSIM working good ,
3G in 900/2100 MHz for both card slots , GPS speed satisfied , AnTuTu Benchmark arround 16500.
Loudspeaker not very powefull , Blitz Light poor , Camera 13MP is shooting nice pictures , vibration softer then other android phones.
Battery 2000mAh tested with Samsung SIII LTE I9305 both got empty almost after the same time of using.
If u use it a lot ( like almost all Android devices and IPhones) u need to plug it in more often.
Waiting for a Cyanogen MOD and eventually an ugrade to Kit Kat Andoid .
