This is my first message. I want to use lagfix in my LG GT540. I load lagfix program but first time its need chose the phone inside. But there is a only 4 models inside. There is no LG GT540 inside.

Hi I would like to ask for manual for instaling CyanogenMod 7 on gt540. Pls make it as easy as possible and ad links for evrything i will need when instaling this mod. Oh and if u could pls ad manual how to make a buckup for my curent rom.

I am new so cannot post links in here .
But can guide you upto some extent.
The ROM using Android 2.3.4 in GT540 is "SwiftDroid".
Please google the link for Swiftdroid (latest is v2.0).
The easy way to install is in fastboot mode but most recommend auto.exe to install (it dint work for me) .. You should have the following in order to install the ROM using fastboot.
> Rooted Optimus GT540. ( root up using the software z4root. )
> fastboot.exe files. ( sorry but i cannot post links here. )
> recovery, system and boot images for SwiftDroid. ( download directly the fastboot files given with the link of ROM. )
Remeber your phone must be having fastboot mode installed in order to do the above. Install it using KDZ updater.

I updated from 1.6 to 2.1 and now the screen spams with Sorry! and process has stopped unexpectedly is there a fix?

What is the name of the process that is Force Closing?
I got the same problem while i updated it manually.
You can do the following,
> If your phone is in warranty (not rooted) visit the any LG service center and they will install the ROM again correctly w/o any fee or charge.
> If you have rooted your phone and your phone is out of warranty you should install the ROM using KDZ Updater.

Hy, I am new android user. I have installed tejasdj12 [ROM] GB 2.3.7 | CyanogenMod 7.2 | 2.6.32 Kernel | Build One ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1550469 ) on my LG GT540 and I have problem with sending/receiving MMS. I have same problem with a few other custom ROM's. My APN setting are OK (that is not problem). I will be glad if someone could help me with that. Thanks in advance! P.S. Sorry for my bad english

I think that this thread needs to be sticky!
All these are useless if your phone is bricked and works in omapboot mode only and that's why you should include the resurrection guide.

Some do, some don't (you can understand that by reading the first page in general section which is full of thread questions that have already been answered in the past).
