GreenRomProject boot animation - Droid Incredible Themes and Apps

This is second time I made a boot animation for the Incredible. It's the Green Rom Project droid shoveling and piling the "Green Rom Project" letters in place. Hope you like it!

4.2r2 ROM is Drizzy's Champion with:
Updated Userinit to display current status
LED Support in the Userinit (works, not perfect)
Backup commands added in runonce (copies to SD)
Some apps to help you out, like themed Chomp
A nasty theme to match white / black G1 color
First ever fully custom Boot animation on Hero
4.2r3 ROM is Drizzy's Champion with:
Minor theme and SMS fixes, no Chomp
FIRST FULLY WORKING LED HERO BUILD
(FULLY means blinking and brightness here and
not just half lit like we all faught to do first b4)
Planned more, but just could wait for release!
Thanks for this port... I will flash it as soon as i can get to a computer

No you have to make partition
Has sms been tested to work on here without delays?
EDIT: Just flashed the ROM and it is indeed fast but the screen is very pixelated and blurry on my phone. I powered down and it looked fine but when it went to sleep, it was back to the fuzzy pixelated mess again. sigh...i can't get a ROM to ever run right on this phone.
Runs great thanks

thanks, i flashed to it and i'm still getting the blurry, pixelated screen after i turn the screen on from locking the phone. I really wish i can use this rom cause it was actually fast and responsive but its a no go for me until the issue with the blurry screen after a phone lock is resolved.

Previews would be nice, I'd also like to make a request.
A boot-animation that's like the nexus, but changes to red. Like the old Cyanogen Boot-animation except it changes from Nexus Colors to all red.
This is the first image he has in it

I like the boot animation, but this is in the wrong forum. It should be under themes/apps.

Defy CM9 Progress?

I see nothing about CM9 for the Defy, yet this exists: http://defy-cm7.tk/ics-test0/
And a youtube video of it running on the Bravo (All Defy things run on the Bravo)
So what's this all about? Does anybody here know?
Great, good bootscreen.
is this rom safe to try?
can any one put up screen shot of the android version and some review !
wow... the zip works without any modiification on the bravo ?

Pretty much 100% of things made for the defy can be installed on the bravo. Just look at the bravo dev section, it's all defy ports with minimal file changes for the bravo
OMG this is my chance! I've made a million posts on here that nobody seems to care about...now that we have some people wondering please check this thread out! We could use anyones help, and if we find out what we need to get the camera working we could share development! (If the Bravo had any lol).

Besides the lower mbit camera on the bravo, on paper they are almost identical spec'ed right?
So anyone tried opening up the bravo and replacing the cam module with one from defy?
Well... It did boot. Nothing really works, even the settings or the calculator... there are no 3 buttons, it has adw launcher, a yellow / gold theme and a killer bootanimation. Gotta say I get pretty happy booting up ICS for the first time and having material proof that the kernel can boot it up =D

It is yellow because the colour are messed up, if you use the bootanimation with CM7 it is blue
We can waiting for CM9 and kernel it's not problem, ICS will work well in our kernel.

[BOOTANIMATION & SHUTDOWNANIMATION]Lollipop and Marshmallow animations

Ok so after some brainstorming and a LOT rebooting, I finally figured out how the boot animation works on stock G3 ROMs.
I took the animation from the Nexus 6 factory image, and made some modifications so it runs like its supposed to. It would not finish before the boot has ended, neither will it be incomplete.; no matter what you boot time is.
Confirmed working on any model and any LG based ROM! (even LG lollipop) :good:
NEW
Added resized bootanimation from Marshmallow's stock animation (bootanimation_LGM.zip)
I have added a shutdown animation per request of some users.
I did it backwards so it starts by fading in the "android" word and then it disintegrates into the particles and then finally it goes black until shutdown. Let me know what you think and if you have any problems, like the animation not finishing completely before shutting down.
It should work on all LG based ROMs just like the boot animation, but report back if it doesn't
I have also added boot and shutdown animations for AOSP based ROMs, since they don't use animations for the quickcircle.
Instructions: (you must be rooted)
Download the animations based on your ROM (LG or AOSP based)
go to /system/media folder and rename bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and shutdownanimation.zip to shutdownanimation.zip.bak
move downloaded zip files to /system/media folder
remove suffix from files (bootanimation_LG.zip to bootanimation.zip)
set 644 (rw-r--r--) permisions (no sticky permission needed)
reboot and enjoy!
Some technical explanation
It turns out that the ROM uses the first half of the folders in the bootanimation.zip for a different animation when booting with the Quickcircle case. No matter what they are named or the files, or what is in them; it will always do this. So I went ahead and created 6 more folders to the start of the list (part0_0 to part0_5) and just added an only image from the stock LG Quickcircle animation (if you use quickcircle case you would notice when booting up with the case).
After that I noticed that on the description file (desc.txt) you have to leave the way it is on the nexus devices: (c 1 0 part1_2) instead of (p 1 0 part1_2); because the way the Lollipop notification works is that it loops the folder "part1_3" in this case, so you see the particles until boot is complete and then it shows the "android" word and fade away before getting to the lockscreen. If I change it to (p 1 0 part1_2) it would never show the android word and would get to the lockscreen as soon as it finishes boot. If I use the "c" it tells it to complete the animation before getting to lockscreen. This is why the animation is not humongus in size, compared to other Lollipop animations for the G3 (no offense)
Next thing I did was to up the resolution, but I don't have to do it to every single image, I just set the resolution that I want in the description file, and that's it. I didn't set it to take the whole screen (side to side) because for me it didn't look that good, but if you want I can make it for you, and even set it to the stock Nexus resolution.
Also, if you want a different quickcircle animation, just send me the file and I'll see what I can do
Its fantastic!!! No more black screen at the end!! Many thanks
yes, its made so that no matter how much time the boot takes, it never finishes before time or the other way around.
did you liked the size of it?
Sorry, i should've tried it rather than asking this..
Is there any choppiness? Because on the Chupachups theme I experienced choppy animation & not attractive, thank you!
That sweet 30 fps. A clean job well done m8. Would you consider doing some awesome bootanimations for this device ? Some sources...

Well, I'm up scaling the image a little bit, but for me there is no chopiness. . If you want I can upload it with the stock image size and you can test both and just choose what you like

Beautiful!
I think this is the perfect lollipop boot animation for the G3 right now. Fast and crisp.

The animation is what you are describing... It's actually the exact boot animation in the nexus 6 and 9 (and also in the 7 and 5 I think)

I think something's missing here, I'm on D855 international version running lollipop.
There's stilll LG Logo at first, and then when the led starts to blink, it's when 'android' showed up in the center of the screen without much animation, just some light gradient.

That's LG based right? I'm really sorry, can't help you there much since I don't have the d855 and I can't test that rom.
Have you tried the stock animation from a nexus 6 or 9?
I can send you a link if you want to test it

That's weird because he is using my bootanimation.zip... What version of that theme are you using? 2.0 or 2.1? Try 2.1 because it's the one with my boot animation, and see if it runs completely and report back
Will this work with quick circle case? Like for instance the stock D851 and unbranded Lg boot animations will fit in the circle viewer. A lot of others do not.. Saw something in the OP about it but not sure if it already exists.
Smooth and small all the other's I have is like 60megs and up
It's perfect… killer job

[BOOTANIMATION] [FLASHABLE] Android 8.1 NEW Pixel bootanimation!

Well, hello again. I've been digging through the recently posted Android 8.1 system images, and I've noticed there's a new bootanimation on the Pixels.
Simple flashable zip here, nothing fancy. I've personally tested this on Unofficial LineageOS 15 (20171005). It worked.
Instructions
- Flash the zip in recovery.
- Reboot and enjoy.
NOTE: There aren't any uninstall instructions, it's your responsibility to back up your /system/media/bootanimation.zip if you want to revert back to whatever you had before.
Awesome! Working flawlessly on LOS 14.1 too.
If someone could make one with a black bg, that'll be awesome!

Both light and dark versions are 1080*1920 so itll fit better than this one. Try it!
Black one isnt official so is a bit jagged caz had to edit each picture individually. Light ones dope though.
