FLASHING TOOLS:

These firmwares are odexed and non-rooted. I just removed the bootloader files (sbl.bin, boot.bin). So it is safe to flash them as there is no risk of hardbricking your phone (no chance to brick bootloader so download mode is still possible). I also added datafs.rfs if it was not present so after flashing your settings will be resetted.

As mentioned in my first post they are odexed. I added now that they are non-rooted.
Would be nice if you can have a look on your disk. But I will upload more firmwares next days so please wait a while then it would be better so we do not waste time on uploading firmwares.

Let's see. Deodexing is a thing which costs many time. And at the moment my A-Level has a higher priority than my Galaxy 3. Maybe there will be deodexed firmwares, maybe not.

XXJP4 is the baseband version and this is included in ROM FW XXJPU
XXJP4 is not mentioned in the opening post and the release date is seen beneath the ROM FW

Dont know if you can use the mentioned FW in your country, but here´s a guide how to flash them to a G3 i5800.
other firmware versions which may be suitable for your region are found at
samfirmware.com
-> but be aware of the evil bootloader files which may be included in them

There are many stock firmwares but with bootloader. I will have a look and tell you then how to remove bootloader (if I can figure out which files are for the booloader) and will PN you how to remove the booloader
Hello i have an i5800L and but get stucked on modem.bin when flashing with odin, i have tried many firmwares but all same problem can anybody help me please¿ it is a phone from telcel mexico

It seems that you have a french firmware.
The only french 2.3 android update that i know of, is I9003XEFKP3.
If kies does not recognize an update for your phone, i'll guess you will have to do it yourself. This is the announcement here at XDA
Procedure is something else, first you have to decide if you'll do it or not.
