Hey guys it just occurred to me to compare the firmwares of the 2 devices to see if LG updated the froyo ROM for the Canadian release in any way. I ask because my device seems to be stable by comparison of what has been reported/happening by T-mo users. Can one of you T-Mo users running stock post the firmware version and baseband etc, etc for comparison?

works flawless...now my Tmobile g2x has the same build as the above users post and with that unit I have reboot/random power down issues...the Wind version works awesome.
So it would appear the only difference is the baseband flash date. But just like you clearnet my G2X from Wind has no issues.

I am trying to update it with custom Rom(RCMIX3d Runny V3.0) and had gone through complete guide posted there, but I have few questions like
1) Do I need to downgrade my phone to 1.7 or less in order to flash customised rom,
2) Do I need to flash my Radio, If Yes then which version
3) Do i need different kernel, If yes then which version

I've just checked for software update and receive the notification for 1.57 but I cannot update OTA, it booted up the CWM recovery and said that it could not mount the update zip. I'm using the VOID 1.3 asia rom by e.japonica.
Any information everyone ?? Does this fix the Dialer issue for battery ?
you need to be on stock recovery to apply OTA updates.
the dialer issue already fixed on android 2.3.5 which is EU 1.52~1.54. didn't know asia version OTA has 1.57...
