Anyone know where I can get a LG-Voyager-like Icon Bar...i know there was a release by someone on the forums that had the joint icon bar of the voyager and prada (which is really what i want but its not configurable so that doesnt help me :<).
i'm looking for somtehing like this: on the very bottom of the picture, the 4 buttons.
thanks
thats actually a battery status theme.
it's rather popular, so simply searching "batterystatus theme" should get you the right thread within 3 or so pages
I have seen pictures of ROMs with both the Battery and Clock on the title bar, but I cannot figure out how to do this. I searched and found a program that kind of does it, but it was just text and honestly looked pretty ghetto. Is there any way to have the default battery icon and clock on the title bar at the same time? Thanks for the help.
Dunno what you mean by "Getto", but Battclock can do this. Infact it can display 3 stacked updates using only one "footprint" in the top bar.
Have a look here: http://touchlockpro.sourceforge.net/BattClock.html
Is there no way to have it with the default icons/text, rather than just an overlay with no icons?
I've seen a variety of screenshots of HD2s with alternate status icons (like the ones shown in this post's screenshots: forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4871358). I've searched and searched and I can't find out how to customize these from the standard, simple, ugly white stock ones. Any tips appreciated!
Thanks!
BB
Can anyone point me in the right direction for these?
Thanks,
BB
You can either continue to search for somebody that has done it and released the files. Or you can start looking into modding the manila files yourself to what you want. The files are not unique to the Leo any WinMo 6.5 notification icons will work.
Thanks for the info. I'm brand new to Windows Mobile and the HD2 so I'm not sure I'm up for trying to make my own mods yet. I'm trying to learn from what others have done and then hopefully be able to give back later.
So, are these things typically referred to as 'notification icons'? I found some custom packages under that name, but they all seemed to be the big icons for the programs, not the little status icons. I couldn't tell though whether those packages would include both the big icons and the small status icons or not. Any idea?
Thanks,
BB

To get these icons first you need to install Maxmanilla. search the thread for maxmanilla and after that you can choose your icons for notifications.
Notification Icons
Install max manilla and then you can change the default notification by the one I have attached or to any icon you want. Search for the icons on net. A few icons are attached which I use.

Thanks for the tips and guidance! I really appreciate the help. However, I'm not looking for the big icons for the various programs, I'm looking for the little status icons at the top of the display (signal strength, wireless connected, bluetooth, headset, etc). The ones on the T-Mo HD2 are just the basic white 'line drawing' ones from HTC. I've seen some screenshots here (like in the like I posted above) where these little icons are very nice, rich, colorful, almost 3D looking. Those are the ones I'm trying to find. Does MaxManilla have those too?
Thanks!

Ah Sorry, I thought you are talking about notification icons. The icons which you are referring are part of taskbar. first you need to check your windows version If you are still on the stock rom or installed a coocked rom 6.5 then search for taskbar 6.5. If you are on 6.5.x then search for taskbar 6.5.x
A lot of customization links are included in the below thread. just search for taskbar for your version.

Awesome! That's what I was looking for. I was searching for 'status icons' since that's how HTC refers to them in the manual. Didn't think that was called the taskbar.
Thanks again!

You are welcome
How cool would it be to have a fully functional stocks quote bar or custom moving text instead of the operator text? ...think about it ...Just throwing the idea out there.
...on hd2-cht
..................by the way how do you move a post if you placed it in the wrong place?
You cant move posts, a mod will take care of it though, thats how it is in most forum.
About the quote thing, there arent too many UIs who allow custom messages, I use Iphonetoday with only 1 icon with the purpose to exactly do that for me
search for status ticker that's what you are looking for
anyone know what to edit in order to change the colors of the clock, date and notification text in the status bar? i know its in services.jar, but where?
ive done searches all over google and here. found plenty of tuts for vanilla android but those dont work for sense.
