Cyanogenmod 6.1 Problem PLEASE HELP - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hey guys, I just downloaded and are CURRENTLY in the process of installing cyanogenmod 6.1 on my incredible. I backed everything up beforehand, however, my screen just keeps reloading the basic blue cyanogenmod screen with the logo on it. Is this part of the installation process, or do I have something to worry about here?
It won't allow me to turn the phone on/off either. PLEASE HELP!

[Q] fastboot: waiting for device

HI Guys,
I've seen similar threads, so I'm sorry if I'm adding clutter, but I can't find anything that works yet.
Stats:
LG Phoenix P505
Android 2.0.3
Windows 7
I tried to do an upgrade to CM10 a while back, and I almost bricked it. I found this thread and tried it several times. Not sure if it worked or the phone corrected itself, but it was communicating with my PC.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088046
Now all I wanted was to do a ROM backup with ROM Manager. That's it. Just thought it would be a good idea to back up the system. I select the operation and the phone reboots (expected). First I get the LG screen (normal), it skips the LG animation screen and goes to the Service providers animation screen, and gets stuck in a loop. I let it go for almost an hour in case it was actually doing the backup, but figured it should have been done by that time.
I reboot several time and ended up at the same place. I then tried to do the above thread again, but at the command prompt it kept saying, "waiting for device". I uninstalled the LG drivers and re-installed with the same results.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

[Q] stuck in bootloop! please help! can only boot to download

Hi guys...thanks for taking a minute to help me out.
I have been using the Cyanogenmod Nightlies for a few months, and have recently been experiencing a few random quirks since upgrading to the new version of Android. I decided that I'd do a full wipe and then install the new nightly. Everything worked fine, the phone booted, I could use apps, etc. Then, I decided to restore some of my apps and data from Titanium Backup.
It took about 40 minutes, and then finally got stuck on 98% which was "android data" or "system data" or something like that...i checked back a few minutes later and the phone was completely dead/frozen. I eventually pulled the battery and rebooted the phone, and now it's just stuck in a bootloop.
When I try to boot into recovery, it freezes on the "Samsung Galaxy S3" screen for a while, and then turns off. However, i CAN boot into download mode.
Can someone please point me in the right direction here? I know that android 4.2.2 reworks some of the system folders, making reverting back to a previous version difficult..? I don't know what to do. Really, I just need to be able to get into recovery, but I'm too ignorant to figure it out.
Thanks so much for taking the time to help me, it's very much appreciated!
hold tight, guys! for some reason, it booted into recovery after like the 50th try. hopefully i can figure it out from here! thanks

[Q] Going from cm "10.0.0" to "cm 10.1.3"...please help

Hello....when i saw that the stable version of CM10.1.3 came out, I wanted to try it...so i tried to install it from the phone itself (the "CyanogenMod updates" option) by downloading it and installing it from there. But then when it was done downloading and flashing/installing, the phone was stuck at the welcome screen, the very first one, the white one...so then I went into the recovery menu and flashed the old CM10.0.0 I found there and after flashing it again, it kept on getting stuck at the CyanogenMod circle screen.
Now I dont know what to do. Can anyone please help me out here?

[Q] Unusual problem!

I'm new to this forum and idk if this is the right place to ask for help! Excuse me if it isn't
I recently flashed a custom ROM from aospal.com and it turned out to be a disaster. After installation, it deleted my recovery software (now I can't use/ don't have cwm or twrp). I can't boot into recovery anymore. Whenever I try doing so, the screen just goes blank after the note logo (I have a note n7000) but the soft-keys glow. I can only restart the phone after connecting it to the charger. The ROM is highly unstable and it eats up my battery very quickly. I've flashed many ROMs before and they were all fine. No problem. But this particular one messed up my phone. Someone please help me out! I can go into the download mode!!
