I Just got my G2 phantomskinned carbon fiber black I have to say I do love the feel of it on my phone and it looks really good now over the brushed aluminum ill post pics when I have access to a camera other than my phone

I like the look of the black the most (from the pictures on the site) because it blends with the phone more. I'll post a video once I get mine installed, or hopefully the op will post some pictures/video also.

Ill post pics once I reach the post limit that let's me I'm still too new to here I guess

Im so tempted to get it right now....

I'm also curious as to how easy this thing is to apply? Seems like it might be easier than a typical invisible shield.

Cost me 45 with installation but it was at a store in superstition springs mall so I didn't send it in and the phone feels fantastic with the carbon fiber my roommate just got his mytouch slide done in chromatic red ill let you know how that feels later

If i had a desk job id be all over that. Only problem is it doesnt seem like you can charge while its on the kickstand.

yes finally.mine was shipped too. it was back ordered for awhile. looks like the rep kept his word sucks about your phone bro. ill post a review up when it gets here as well

this is my first time seeing that one. i went to the tmobile store to buy my hdmi cable(of course they didnt have) and i saw the kickstand case. its similar to the one for the g2. i wasnt impressed. so ill hold out. i have some accessories coming in the mail today. zagg, tpu, and hard case for now.

I have it. It's really a nice case - fits the phone perfectly and allows just a hint of the stainless trim to show adding a bit of style. The edging around the corners is a bit raised for protection. It leaves the entire front of the phone exposed though so if you put it down on it's face or drop it it'll get damaged. The kickstand isn't rotatable, the wide end props the phone up vertically and the edge horizontally. In the vertical position the phone's really low in relation to the surface its on. The kickstand itself feels a bit flimsy so I don't know how long it'll last. I use it as my "indoor" case. If I'm taking the phone out I use the Body Glove case which provides much better all-around protection.

I was watching the installation video to see the coverage, and it appears that the back, top side and bottom are all separate, and w/it being black on black, it's kind of hard to see what it leaves uncovered. I don't want my phone to look ghetto fabulous, like I just patchworked this on one night after watching a fast & furious marathon drunk w/gaps on every edge.
Anyway, if anyone has, let me know. If not, I'll jump in and try it out and post photos and give my 2 cents.

I've had something similar to this, but it was called PhantomSkinz. I had it on my G2, and myTouch 4G. Both felt great at hand.

Glad to hear from someone that has had something similar. Not like I'm going to need much to twist my arm to get it, but it certainly helps to get feedback.

That's actually one of the benefits of having all the pieces separate, the piece that would cover the metal strip is separate. I agree with you, but I plan to keep the metal strip shown, even if I have to use an exacto knife to make it happen.

3m dinoc can be bought in small amounts, cut it to size and profit. Way cooler than the pre cut options I've seen for phones.

I agree... And upon taking your advise, I just bought a 12"x48" sheet of it from ebay. I worked w/vinyl for several years, from custom applications made in-house to pre made applications, so I'm comfortable w/the whole process. The saddest part is, w/o your input, I probably never would've thought of it on my own!
I'm excited, now I can make it fit how I want! PLUS, it was less and I have enough, that I can customize friends phones if they like the look of it... For a modest price of course. <hehhehhehhehheh>

absolutely. i'm interested too! enuff of this "carbon look" and "carbon feel" and "carbon printed" and "leather stitched to look like carbon"; i want the REAL deal (to match my car and bike, my money clip, my well, you get the point lol)... and would prefer it to be a hard rubber case with that around it (guess i could buy a black case that i want and wrap that instead too); but keep us updated and lemme know if you'd wanna make another to sell if it works out or have "extra materials" looking forward to the pics! good luck!

Well, I got the Carbon Fiber vinyl sheet in [12"x48"]. Looks good, now it's time to waste about a foot of it while I perfect the stencil.

Infuse case with built-in kickstand

Has anyone seen or found a case for the Samsung Infuse that has a kick-stand in it?
This would allow you to place the phone on a table and not have to lean it against things to watch movies or whatever.

They can easily make a battery back that houses a kickstand just make it a little thicker.

Found this, not really a case with kickstand, looks like you set your phone in it and use it like that. Battery charger, with kickstand made for Infuse. Sorry, I'm new to this Xda, so they wont let me post a link. Go to CellularAccessory.com and search Samsung Infuse Kickstand.

Sprint has a very nice carbon fiber case with a built in kick stand for their sgs2. I know the screen size is the same as the infuse but I believe its thinner and the form factor is more curved, not sure if it will fit.

i have the exact same thing at home for my nightstand!

While it is not a case I found something that works well for me. I use 2 binder clips as it makes a great stand for me and I can keep it in my pocket for when I need it.
Take a Large Clip and 1 Medium binder clip.
The large one keep like normal while the medium one you turn both of the silver rings to one side so you have a backwards L with the back part sticking straight up.
Then take the large clips and clip it on the silver rings as clost to the black as you can.
This holds the phone very very well and I am able to watch movies during my lunch with a normal head set pluged into it. So this does mean my head truns some but not to much and it does not move at all. This works with or without the silicon ruber thing around the phone. With out the rubber you can also do it with the small and medium binders to make it even smaller. I think lifehacker has pic on doing this.
I hope this will help someone.

I don't have a 360 camera unfortunately.. too expensive still and I wouldn't use it enough to justify the cost

(FYI - the cameras are selling on eBay for about $70 which makes it's value pretty sweet. If you travel at all the 360 camera is a really interesting way to say capture a room of a museum or an environment.)
*That said I haven't picked one up yet either ^_^ but it's on the list!
I mentioned this case to a friend of mine with a 3D printer, didn't know if he would have any TPU handy... turns out he does.

The designer said he used a certain type of TPU and that the case is slightly smaller than the phone so that it has tension to hang on. So if you get one and it doesn't fit, this could be why. If it's too rigid, it might not fit around the phone.

Update: My buddies attempt at printing it didn't work out first try. Got too cool I guess and messed up... he'll give it another go in a few days.

hands down interested in one. i would prefer it in black but yes absolutely. i love the beauty of this phone but the case i have now is just too plain and looks like every other phone, what i would advise is a method like spiegen where its cornered at the corners so there is an air pocket of cushion. also... probably alittle more material specifically around the glass edge but overall yeah i love the idea

Ok little update
Finished printing the large one.. fit was too loose so I printed the smaller one. Nice and tight. Had to stretch it to fit it. Lots of stringing so I'm dialing those settings in but so far looks nice
