[Q] Mobi Products Crystal Case

Thinking of getting this case for my G2. Has anyone tried it out. If so, how is it (snug fit, any problems opening and closing phone)? thanks.

So I decided to get the Mobi Case. I had the original T-mobile gel case, I gotta say I like this one much better. I had problems with my G2 opening really easily with the gel case and problem solved.

I thought about getting this case but I wasn't sure. Does it fit snug? For some reason I was worried about it scratching any of the soft parts. I really love the way the g2 looks naked (haha). How much was it and where did you get it from?

I have to agree with you I also like to see my G2 bare some skin, hell that's one of the main reasons I bought this phone. The case is quite snug on the phone. I didn't have a problem with it scratching either. But after a day of use, I have noticed some scuffs on the body part of the case (from setting it down). I got it with tax, shipping and 10% off for $17.60 @ the Android Central Store.

I appreicate the feed back. I almost went with htc's version of the clear case but it doesn't cover the trackpad area like this one. I think ill go for it. I have the hard rubberized T-Mobile version which I think is awesome for the protection, and the price. (17.99 I think). Also, with any clear case there are going to have those scuffs regardless. Im still waiting on otterbox to make a case. I figured they would considering they made one for the mytouch slide Thanks though!

I love the looks of it but... don't you lose the grippyness (if thats even a word, lol) with that case opposed to the popular OEM gel skin?

I dont feel like you lose grip at all. Waiting for my new one to come in.

There is still some grippiness but not as much as with a rubberized case. Its still a decent amount though.

UPDATE: Well after about 8 months of only using this case, one of the clips that hold the case on (on the battery end) has broken off. I guess that's expected after taking it on and off who knows how many times. I gotta say, I definitely got my $17 out of this case and will probably buy another one just like it to replace this one.

DecalGirl Skins

I'm not currently using these, but my wife has used DecalGirl skins on her phones several times. They were always good quality fit and very durable. Lot's of designs. Someone mentioned to me they finally had G2 skins so I thought I'd share the link in case anyone hadn't seen their products before.

Awww... I saw the thread title and thought there were some decal girl stickers. like those girls on old planes or pinups. Those are cool and sexy at the same time... these are nice too though

Good luck getting the final product to look like that. I've heard nothing but good things about DecalGirl products, but a quality installation makes all the difference.

I agree... heck, I have a hard enough time putting on a screen protector let alone an entire phone skin. It does look sweet how the wallpaper blends right in!

But if skin really does blend into the background that turns me off. Obviously you can opt from doing so, but still it'd get boring after awhile.

I don't know... that's kinda the coolest part, imo. Oh well, sticking with my gel skin anyways.

I just really like their selection of designs. I had skins from them on an original Xbox and my first Xbox 360. I also installed one on my wife's old blackberry. Installation wasn't as hard as other brands because their material was thick and had a lot of give (if that makes sense). The only thing that I noticed is that if you look at the pictures close, these don't seem to cover the sides of the corners of the phone. For that reason, I'm not sure I would ditch my gel case for one. I like to keep my phones as like new as possible.
If anyone tries one of these and could post pics, it would be appreciated. But I think I'm actually going to hold off for now.

Custom Battery Cover!!

Hello XDA friends! I have made a custom back cover for the Samsung Galaxy S 4g and the original Samsung Vibrant. It is a custom job. Every cover is unique since it is done with paint and a few other tricks. Also I can clear coat them if you want. I will sell them each for $20 including shipping to anywhere in the US (add $5 to Canada)
If there is enough interest I can do this in White (as shown below), Blue, Red or Green Post a reply letting me know your interest and which color you would prefer.
Take a look at the pictures below. They look awesome! They are a direct replacement for your current back cover. They do not add any thickness nor change the shape of the phone....and yes, they fit perfectly unlike some aftermarket covers.
Post a reply if you are interested so I can gauge just how many people may want this before I make an order for the blank covers.
PM me and I will send you a Paypal link for the cover. I will see how much interest I get for the first while so be patient and I will keep you updated on shipping dates.
Also take a look at the covers I previously made for the Vibrant. I feel I do good work. Mostly smooth. You can feel some of the lines and shapes made when I texture these. I may clear coat them though if that is preferred.

Galaxy S 4G

Can you please put pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S 4G with the cover?
Those pictures are really zoomed in, so I would like to know how would they look from my eyes
Just imagine the phone is sitting in the desktop
I don't want pictures SO close because even though they show the textures, they are too close so I don't know if they look cool or not

Benks Magic Slim Back Cover - Blue

I have say I really enjoy this case. It's got a nice soft matte touch to it. It's not too extreme though where dust gets stuck to it and you feel it. Those cases drive me crazy.
I definitely recommend it if you can wait 2.5 weeks for it to arrive. They come in black, clear, and blue. They all have a slight frosted look.
Also, this case is designed for the international HTC One X. So the camera and speaker hole will be slightly off since the AT&T One X and One XL is slightly longer. It still fits great though and the camera lens is PROTECTED!

It's pretty slick but I'm anal about my cases, if it doesn't fit perfectly than i won't use it. That said, if they came out with one specifically for the AT&T one I'd be all over it like flies on sh*t.

This is one of the better minimalist cases I've seen. Might pull the trigger soon if no ATT version comes out.

It fits perfectly fine. The camera is the only thing off. Either way, the lens is protected. Heck, it's only $12 lol. I'll use it until a proper one comes out.

This is the only case of this type I have seen. Am I missing something or do all the cases seem bulky and hide the design of the device?
I'd buy this if it fit immediately.

I just can't wait for this to be released. It looks spectacular in my opinion, and looks like it will be great for protecting the Nexus 4. The SG Ballistic case I had for my Epic 4G Tough was very protective and durable. Without a doubt the Ballistic Shell Gel (SG) series are my favorite cases!

They really need to stop with the protruding corners. Those could be round and still offer just as much protection if made of the same material.
