So i broke the glass screen(not sure what its proper name is) on my HTC Touch Diamond 2 a while ago, and now i want to fix it.
Is there any chance of doing this myself?
Where and what do i need to buy to fix it?

Not really, only to say that I used to be a sprint technician and tried to do this and failed miserably. Extracting the screen from a TP2 is very difficult, and the LCD screen is very fragile. Your best bet is to try and find the whole front housing with the LCD in it and replace that whole assembly instead of just trying to replace the screen. I dropped my zt-18-0 7" device and the touch screen part broke. The display is fine and the tablet still works, just no touch screen. I found that the touch screen packs for the Eee PC are a close match, uses the four wire type. But it's just a littl too big (5mm out). So before I get one of these does any one know where I can get the correct touch screen for the device????
Hi All, I have an HTC touch Diamond 2 which I use every day for work, its getting a bit old now and would like to replace it.
I need something that I can draw floor plans on using a stylus, currently using Vectorsoft draw, and also needs to be able to use Excel as well.
I have looked at many devices and cant seem to find something that will do what the HTC does but I could do with a bigger screen.
Any ideas?

The touch screen of the phone will only work on the top, while in other parts no, not even the three keys below work.
Someone could help me the phone only 2 months old .
