Hey, ive been searching for about a month on the net for a way to calibrate my xperia x10 mini pro, the problem is when u hold it at parallel to the ground it just keeps moving to much to the right, my phone is rooted, ive tried messing up with its internal console calibration wizard, did what it said but nothing worked in the end, can anyone please tell me what file do i need to change or if t here is any way at all for me to have this annoying problem fixed?
This problem happens to so many ppl im shocked that ive found nothing to help us out with this problem, yes many applications have accelerometer calibration but what we must understand is that first:
There are simply many more which do not have calibration, so youre stuck with a big nuisance;
You are not solving the real problem as youre just patching it at every application you have and frankly this is no way to go.
We should go at the source and fix so we wont be dependant of apps that releases or not accelerometer calibration tools.
Any information regarding this situation is greatly appreciated,

ah cmon guys not even 1 answear on this? there has to be at least something out there to fix this problem or some information about what to do :S
my xperia x10 mini pro is running normal version android 2.1 update 1.
Im wondering why no one is interested in this, probably theyve found an easy fix for it, or didnt find 1 at all?

after 3 more days, ive found some android internal command tools like yamaha or whatever its called for samsung phones but that apparently doesnt work on xperia mini pro not shocked as this is a sony ericsson phone...

hmm i was thinking of trying that code again but unfortunatelly ive forgot, anyone knows the code for xperiax10minipro calibration? i wanna try it with that remout command thingie because i didnt use it back then.

hey guys im new to the scene and trying to figure as much stuff out on my own as i can, usually i do a good job and don't need to ask for help. but i do when i have to, so the problem i am having is with a sony xperia play .
its my brothers phone and i was thinking about getting one but i want to "root" it and see whats what with it but i am trying to do so without unlocking the bootloader just incase anything goes wrong with it later so it remains under warranty. im coming from the iphone jail-breaking scene so this is a little different. but i want to give it a go. so i'm trying to root it i checked out this post

i realize at the top of the post it says not all devices are supported because of new FW's does the FW i am on fall in this category?
i tried it with the 1.2.apk and the 1.1
im not sure why it is not working.
but i have a feeling its got something to do with the FW the phone has come with
its running 2.3.3
build number 3.0..1.A.0.145
model number r800i
kernal version 2.6.32.9-perf
i formatted the SD card before anything then after i installed gingerbreak to the phone itself. (also tried it without formatting it, i installed gingerbreak and tried to run it then and it didnt work so i rebooted formatted SD card and tried again and still nothing)
made sure the phone was set to be in USB debugging mode.
gingerbreak opens and has the options there but when i tap "root device" it just says "running exploit" ect on screen and nothing changes. on the post it says usually about 10 minutes but i read through it and one person said it worked for theirs but it took an hour and a half, but another said it took 3-5 minutes.
so i do not know what i am doing wrong. but i have a feeling its the FW it has come with out of the box but i have not been able to find out any information about it as of yet.
i have found another post saying to flash it with a UK generic FW 2.3.2 .184
but im guessing i cannot downgrade to a FW that was not on the phone from packaging. although i may be wrong but that is usually the norm with this kind of thing.
any help in getting me in the right direction is greatly appreciated, and i hope to be able to help others in the future. yes it doesn't seem like i am of much help right now seeing as i can't even get it rooted yet. but i tend to pick up on things very fast. today i am having trouble getting in to it. but soon enough i will get there thank you to anyone who read this i know it is a little long but i wanted to make sure i gave as much information as possible to make sure i haven't left out something critical if i have left out anything let me know and once again thank you for taking the time to read this post and reply (if you did reply =] )

Hi , im new here and really need some advice.
I purchased a Z3 this week and bought it second hand , even though it is new but without box. I found out it has the dreaded demo app installed because i think it was ex-display in a phone shop. Once i plug in the charge it deletes my photos,contacts,apps etc. and comes up with the demo video. Iv'e tried the codes people usually use and done something else using the computer someone suggested ,but nothing works. I was thinking about rooting the phone but after looking on forums i can't seem to find anything to explain how to root it or even if it's possible yet because its a new phone. Iv'e tried to delete the app it has but it just keeps coming back. So need to find someone way that is like rooting the phone to get access to delete it permanently. Hey guys first of all thank you for clicking on this, I have not been active in long while since life has been happening but I have an issue and I have no idea where else to ask since you guys are the savviest people I know on the internet. I have a Sony camera (DSC-H300) and its an okay camera its got regular batteries (bought rechargeable) and I have no way of connecting it to a computer. My question is, is there any software that would allow me to connect it to the computer and extract the firmware to first of all look at it, Ive got no experience adjusting or modifying firmware but perhaps if the starts align ill be able to do something to allow it to stream to my computer when connected via USB or maybe a program that knows how to tap in OR is the hardware not all there to let me do that. I am planning to launch a youtube channel and having a camera with a preview on my screen on the computer and it storing directly to the computer would really speed things up. I know its a one in a million chance but I just think its silly for it not to be an option since, after all it is a camera. I appreciate all suggestions just dont tell me to buy something new because thats clearly not an option, Thanks!

Since that's a camera I don't think you'll get many answers on XDA (it can happen but that is related to your luck)
I would advice you to go on a specialised forum or some other websites that will be more likely to learn you something regarding cameras .

Apologies if i have posted on the wrong thread but i have a big problem and i’v been tearing my hair out.. i have posted before on here with few other problems few have been sorted but this ones just cropped up few weeks ago and iv messed with settings and still but getting no where so i am here for help..
I have a Chinese android headunit uis7862 6+128.. its a dual system with android 10 and switch back to original car operating system.. problem i have is the touch function on the cars operating system is not working at all.. but on the android system its working fine? Its not like there is a fault with the original operating system as i can change thru dab aux etc with steering controls and it shows on unit its changing also sat nav works as street names change as im driving and all seat functions i change on my heater control show on screen as its been changed..
So far i have changed the ribbon from android board to original multimedia unit board which is attached to back of system… i have done a reset with button under mic.. i done a firmware update with files off here 3 weeks ago abut this problem started before that..
Any one shed any light on this please as i cant set my clock without going through original system software and few other things

The only thing I can advise is to have a look at the Jaguar UK forum.

Thank you and sorry i dont mean to offend anyone, i was frustrated and annoyed as there is no support of the buyer and to top things up i done a factory reset on the unit to see if it would sort the problem out! But it did not but has bought me more problems The fyt centre does not delete and on top of that no matter what i have tried no launcher is working on the unit, when i try to select a launcher which has installed it comes up with a error saying it has stopped working!
This android business is new to me and im not very savvy with im happy to pay someone to sort the problems out as time is very short due to work etc.. may be if i upload a video of what the problmes are? Do yo think that would help?

Maybe. If there is a user who recognises your problem and knows a solution, he/she might help you.
For me personally, and I think most others: We have never seen such a combination and don't know anything about it. In that case a video won't help as we have no knowledge of your unit combination and how it is supposed to work.

I understand don't worry thank you.. i installed the fyt management app i want to remove it and reset the whole unit back to stock just incase thats the cause of it stopping working.. i have already done a factory reset and delete but that app stays on.. anyways i can delete it now or am i stuck with it? Thanks again
