Hi all!!
I need your help...
I m developing the MIUI port for samsung galaxy S (look at the signature) and I encountered an issue...
At first I need to clarify that all the apps and frameworks are from the MIUI's Nexus S port...
So initially no media were detected...neither /system/media nor sdcard ones...
So I decided to modify the mediascanner.class inside classes.dex of framework.jar of the MIUI ROM and replace the mediascanner of the MIUI ROM with the cyanogenmod one...
And that works pretty well except for some crashes with MIUI file manager...
but it can detect just /system/media and /sdcard media content...nothing by /emmc...
I use the MediaProvider.apk from MIUI Nexus's ROM...if I replace it with the CM7 one no media are detected...
My aim is to scan the media content of the external sd card....
what can I do??

Hi everyone i hope someone can help me i flashed ezkat rom 2.0
onto my tmobile note 2 and i was wondering how can i get the accuweather
widget ive been reading some of the other threads about putting the gs5 accuweather widget
onto samsung phones but none have worked i know that i need the accuweatherwidget.apk,accuweatherdaemon.apk then place them into system/app then change permissons to rw-r-r- then reboot but it doesnt work if im doing something wrong tell me and if i need more files i'd like to know plz can someone help me i miss my weather widget.

Ok. I've attached 1 file. Extract it, and you'll get 6 files inside a folder - Contacts.apk, Phone.apk and ContactsProvider.apk, and their respective odexes. Place all of them in /system/priv-apps with root browser, change the permission to resemble those of nearby apps, reboot and you're done. And sorry for the late response. Good Luck.

Hey guys, my name is Oli. I have been modding a few Samsung devices for about 3 years now, but I am new to XDA so yea.
Anyway, I was wondering if some would help me ASAP I was on my Tab 4 and I was getting rid of apps that I didn't need like some GApps, Browser, Sound Recorder, Email etc and then I accidentally removed the gallery app (Sec.Gallery2013.apk) and you could probably guess I really need a kind member to help me if you could.

To find it,
1. Make sure you device is rooted (Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 SM-T530)
2. Open any root browser (I use ES File Explorer)
3. Navigate to Device>System>priv app> and find Sec.Gallery 2013.apk
4. Copy to Internal Storage / Ext SD Card
5. Upload to Dropbox, Mediafire, Zippy share or anything else and send me a link through email [ABOVE] or reply on here.

Hi Everybody !
Today i ported MIUI V7 to my Archos 45 Helium 4G from the Ktouch 3
To port it, i took the boot.img of a MIUIv4 ROM from the Archos, and edited the BOOTCLASSPATH row
But now, my sensors doesn't work anymore, i tried to replace libs and a lot of thing, nothing works
I saw that init.qcom.sensor.sh was missing to my /system/etc directory, i downloaded it but doesn't help
Please, what can I do to make my sensors work ?
