Hi,
I'm currently running CM 6.0.2 (Clockwork rec) and got S-off (Alpha-rev) on my HTC desire (amoled).
I noticed my internal memory has 14 Mb left eventhough I've got most apps on SD.
Is there any way I can free up space? Are there maybe things stored in internal memory that are not of any use? (N00B)
is there a rom with app2sd(2ext)? i try to add it into MDJ_ViVO_scene with kitchen.but i failed,i can't flash it...anyone could help me?
Not sure we'll be seeing many A2SD+ ROMs in here as the Desire S seems to have plenty of internal storage. I had a 512MB partition on my old Desire (giving me 1GB total) with LeeDroid A2SD+ ROM and I had 250+ apps installed and still had 60% space left.
thx.i use link2sd instead of app2sd+ now. so i must waiting the rom
I have a HTC Wildfire, rooted.
Try different ROM: Stock ROM, WildPuzzle, DK, Leaf, Joker Droid, etc..
I WANT HTC SENSE.
What application do you recommend me for internal free memory and move applications on SD?
I tried App2SD, Link2SD and A2SDGUI (integrated in DK ROM), but none of those applications DOES NOT USE INTERNAL MEMORY COMPLETELY.
Please help me...
Thanks.

There is no method of not using any internal memory, every method will leave some small amount of data in internal memory. I cannot see why you would have a requirement not to use ANY internal memory. I use the Starburst/Gingerburst ROMs and they have allowed me using Sibre's a2sd script to have nearly 300 apps installed (including 4 different GPS programs) and still have room for more.

Ok.
Questions:
- Data2SD is identical to A2SDGUI or it's similar?
- Starburst/Gingerburst ROMs are also there for Wildfire?
- Have you installed Sygic Mobile Navigator? I ask this because you've installed Sygic TOTALLY FOREIGN internal memory.
It seems that the script of A2SDGUI did not work with Sygic...
Thanks.

Hi all, i know this will be an old subject but the truth is i had a Desire 2 yrs ago before i started to play around with rooting and flashing etc.
Now i own my second Desire and it is rooted, s-offed, clockworkmodded and flashed with cm7.1.
I have recently been looking at improving my internal storage space and from what i can gather there are a few ways to do such a thing.
The problem is they seem a little bit too complicated for me not to mention a bit risky.
I am wondering if anyone has a simple method that will give me more internal space.
My sd card is partitioned (8 gig total 1gig ext3) i just don't know where to go from here.
Here are some details of my device.....
CWMod 5.0.2.0
CM7.1 Android 2.3.7
HBOOT 6.93.1002
Please Help!!
UPDATE:
I have managed to gain a little more space on my internal storage.
I found an app in the market called A2SDGUI and it allowed me to move the Dalvik Cache to the sd ext resulting in my storage jumping from 44mb to 107mb.
However, i am still looking for an answer to using the sd ext partition for all my apps since i have 1gig of space available.
Looking forward to hearing from someone!

CM 7 doens't have APP2SD integrated, this is why all the apps are installed onto the internal memory.
If you install any custom rom on XDA with APP2SD (MIUI, leeDroid for instance), you won't have any space problems.
Don't need to do anything else beside flash the rom, since you already have partitioned your SD card.
I have been using this rom for some time, they provided with memory script and i flashed it with that, after installing some apps its showing internal memory is low and can't i use the 1gd sd-ext i had created when flashing. Please help me regarding this.
are you using OC kernel?
try placing memory increasing script (int2ext+) in system/etc/init.d/ ...
whats your internal memory showing now??
