Twitter - Nexus One Themes and Apps

Anyone having issues with the app registering touches on the screen? It's extremely random. Sometimes it registers just fine, but other times it has no idea where I'm touching.
I'm running the CM7 nightlies for the record.

Yeah that happens to me a lot. Usually locking then unlocking the phone fixes it.

Sounds like the usual N1 screen inaccuracy issues. As above, screen off/on is the only cure.

There are no other apps that experience this bad of an issue. Hopefully twitter releases a fix.

The new twitter is pretty buggy still. A recent update fixed some of the bigger ones though.

Camera bug

Does anyone else have this issue? Since my upgrade to gingerbread on a completely stock phone, whenever I exit my camera my screen brightness turns all the way down until I lock and unlock my screen.... Any fix??

I haven't experienced this yet. Try installing the LG Cam.

It's no fix, but an easy way to figure out a little more would be to use the stock power console widget and set it to it's brightest setting. A before and after might tell you whether the camera is adjusting the current brightness setting or toggling something else.
It is only when auto brightness is on. I'm using launcher pro as well. Can anyone duplicate this?

No. Mine is completely stock Gingerbread V21e, including the stock launcher; I'm using auto-brightness, and I don't have that problem.
Ok what is really weird is I removed the default for launcher pro to try the stock launcher, and it didn't happen. I now tried again with launcher pro and it went away. This has been plaguing me since I upgraded 2 weeks ago, and now just vanished.... Hmmmm....

G2x is still a new phone and they're still rolling out the 2.3.3 GB update (after testing and problems and bricks) I'm sure the bugs will get worked out as the phone ages. But I'm glad to hear the problem fixed itself. If it ever continues, I'd look into replacing the phone just in case its an issue with the phone itself.
The screen auto brightens when you open the camera app and goes back to normal when you close it.

It happened to me before the update.

[Q] Touch Screen Response Issue

Im running Glorious Overdose V2 but I had this issue with other roms as well for some reason my touchscreen sometimes doesnt respond. In order for it to start working again I have to lock and unlock my phone sometimes it happens frequently and other times it doesnt. Any tips on how to fix this issue?
Sorry no tips on how to fix, but I'm running stock and it happens to me too. I though it might have to do with my crappy screen protector or me somehow messing with the optical trackball, but it seems not since you're experiencing the same issue.

I have this issue, too...
...can confirm it happens on stock and custom roms.

This app worked awesome on my sensation. Give it a try and report back please? I set to performance.

Nope
I tried the app and it didn't help at all and sometimes my phone also starts randomly selecting as if I touched it.
Its a hardware problem. Samsung claims its a software problem but I doubt it. It happens to me all the time and I've posted threads about it as well.
What I have found is that any sweat or liquid on your fingers that gets left behind on the screen causes it to act sporadically. All you can do is constantly clean your screen when the phone is locked.

i have this problem, but i have noticed its only after iv gotten my hands wet. i kinda figured it was 1$ screen protector.
My screen would do the same thing until i bought one of the sk screen protectors. Haven't had that problem since.

Unresponsive screen

Anyone experiences randomly unresponsive touch screen after wake the device or try to pick up a call?

Are you rooted? Custom ROM? How many background apps were running at time? I have had it go blank on me but it is always looking at Facebook pics....needs update....anyway..but never unresponsive. On that note let me update my sig so everyone will know my specs.
I have heard of people complaining about this when there phone is plugged in but not otherwise maybe a bug? Or defective

Mine is stock but rooted. Not a big deal, can get it back to work by turning off the screen and turn it back on

Broken vibration??

So my phone has randomly stopped vibrating completely..touch...texts..calls..notifications of all kinds
Im on singhui..I checked all the settings I could find...then did a dirty install of singhui but that did nothing
Then I wiped and reinstalled thinking I might be missing a setting...no luck...then I used nullifier which again had no effect.
Then I remembered that I dropped my phone 10 minutes before I noticed the prblm.
Haven't noticed any other problems either.
Can anyone give me advice on how I can check if its a hardware issue...or if there's still hope for my phone
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda app-developers app
From my experience, it SHOULD fix itself over time. The first time I had this problem, my phone froze while it was vibrating (and I was sleeping) so it was vibrating for about five hours. After that, it stopped vibrating when I rebooted it. I didn't do anything to fix it, it just started working again one day. It happened to me at least two other times, but randomly, and eventually it started working again.
If there's a fix, I don't know it unless it's just time and hope.
So the waiting game is one solution
You're a genius btw...the vibration started working while typing these words...haha

And just like that...vibration is gone again...ill wait again
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda app-developers app
Welcome to the wonderful waiting world of the g2x haha but seriously, I hope it gets resolved. Could be a broken connection, which is disconnecting/reconnecting due to movements/vibrations.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda app-developers app
I have had similar happen, I solve it by hitting the screen, but not too hard. It obviously has to do with the impact _on the screen, which causes it to stop functioning and a similar impact causes it work again.

KitKat Bugs?

Anyone notice scrolling w/in apps seems to look a bit choppy. I mean its still quite responsive just looks horrible. Any thoughts on how to remedy it
Also what other bugs are you seeing? Besides home button one.
Sent From My KitKat Ultra
Idk if I would say scrolling is choppy but I'd say that 4.2.2 might have just been just a miniscule bit more snappy than 4.4 is...
Benchmark scores (as unreliable as they are) would seem to verify this as my phone scores just a tad lower on almost every benchmark than it did on 4.2.2

Also having some choppiness in apps that I didn't have before. Hopefully some performance updates are in the works.

I have a bug, when I open my app drawer and scroll through the widgets once I hit the third page it is turns the screen off, every time

USB tethering with easy tether no longer works.
Just had Dolphin Browser/OS completely lock up.
After restarting the phone and clearing cache from recovery I received a bunch of emails from Outlook which had arrived around noon without updating.
Dolphin browser, when scrolling a page flashes a white screen but that may be dolphin and not OS related.
If anyone is on the fence for this update, best to wait for a better build.

Good build
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this build, at least nothing rising to a known or systemic problem that I'm aware of. It's a pretty damn good build...one question / variable would be; how many of you are on the ART runtime?
My battery saver toggles itself off after a reboot. Anyone else? That's all I can think of.
I use ART. Also tried with Dalvik.

I had a complete system freeze yesterday. Nothing responded except for holding power button to restart.

That sucks...I am having one problem now...Titanium is FC on launch...haven't heard back from them yet on known issue or not. I know they were having problems with ART in the past version.
