I think you mean has anyone created a custom rom for it yet. And the answer is no. The phone has only been out for a couple of weeks. Give it some time for devs to cook something up.

[q] sgh-t959p roms

I'm sure this is a question which a lot of lurkers wants to know.
There are a lot of custom roms/mods out now in the development section, but will they work with the SGH-T959P?
I've done searches on this forum and there are no posts that has a solution or answer.

He has the Fascinate 4G that is on Telus from Canada. It's different from the first Fascinate. Which there is no section on xda yet. I think the U.S. version is SCH-1500 and the Telus Fascinate is SGH-T959D. Both are different from what he has.
Please don't try to flash anything in the regular Fascinate section of XDA. You may brick your phone.
Yes, to reaffirm that I have the galaxy s2 from Telus in Canada.
So there isn't much support for this phone right now correct? And do you think support is coming soon?

So then you have a SGH-I9100? Cuz the model number you gave earlier is for the Fascinate 4G.

Sorry my bad, yes it is Fascinate 4g
Can someone please upload an image I can odin flash to my bricked t959p... yes as you speculated, SGS4G and regular fascinate files do not work. sigh.
But it won't work because they are different roms for different phones, right?

if you guys can get me the STOCK build number I can see if I can get you what you need.
ours looks like UVKD1
I need something that looks like that. or just send me the build.prop from a working phone.
That sounds promising. Obviously I don't have a working phone... but I do have a set of clockwordmod backups (.android_secure.img, cache.img, data.img, system.img) Would that work somehow?
Hi, I have SGH-T959P phone, where I can upload/send you build.prop?
Thanks for offering to help! I sent you a PM.
-Ryan.
day number 6 without my android.
I have the Fascinate 4G from telus too and hope that someone can work on some roms hope this helps
Baseband version: T959PTLKD2
Build number: FROYO.PTLKD2
Solved my problem btw... Read my little story here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1171818
Now I wait for the kindness of others who may build some faster better roms for our phones. I can send the factory dumps to anyone who might be interested.

[Q] Qusetion: Baseband's and custom ROM's

Hey Everyone,
I am just trying to learn the in's and out's of flashing custom rom's on android phones. I have been doing some reading and some people state
As long as the custom rom has been developed for your phone, you can flash the firmware, then flash the baseband version for your phone, maybe plugin a few APN settings and you should be good to go.
I am wondering if there is some truth to this? Just because it sounds too good to be true.
Thanks!

Great! Thanks very much. My next goal is to see what the difference between the Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830D and the GT-S5830.
Good ol' google has litterly, no information. any result for the GT-S5830D brings up info for the GT-S5830 which makes me think they are similar? and the firmwares should work?
I know for sure that the GT-S5830i is quite different. its clearly stated.
Wondering if anyone knows about the mystery "D"?

Well i decided to take a risk and flash a ROM that says its for a GT-S5830 on the GT-5830D and it worked perfectly. No issues. I ended up flashing The Myth rom.

sch-r760 custom kernel w/cwm possible?

Hey guys, have a generic CDMA sch-r760 and m looking for a custom kernel that includes cwm. I'm trying to get a recovery installed on this device in order to flash custom ROMs. Could really use the help because I know these phones don't get tackled much. I'm doing this for my cousin because I rooted his phone in high hopes I could upgrade him to jellybean like I did with a Samsung captivate last night. Any help?

Yea, that is still a dead thread. Well, dead due to the fact that everyone is talking to themselves and development is occurring.

[Q] Can a custom kernel allow use of other carrier's roms?

I tried looking for thread about this and couldn't find one. I seem to remember the dev of bump saying that once we had our own kernels, we'd be able to use any carrier's rom. Can anyone confirm this?

Actually, there is another thread with the same topic, its an older one but one of the new posts has someone saying he flashed a verizon rom with a kernel from the D850, and maybe the boot.img http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-lg-g3/help/flashing-carriers-roms-t2860521

SCH-I915 compatibility

Hi everyone, I've been searching for two days straight about ROM compatibility with this device. Since I don't care about the LTE portion does someone here knows if we can flash a P51XX ROM onto this device?
