Do u think that there is a way to change the android source to support input of more lanuage directly from the keyboard and not from on-screen keyboard?
Like in windows when clicking on alt+shift it change the keyboard input from english to other language.

I flashed my ROM today (Timolols).
And i can't press the letters "Æ Ø Å" anymore, because the keyboard layout is English, and not Norwegian as i would like it to be. Is there a way to manually install Norwegian keyboard layout on my HTC Raph100 ?

I've just downloaded Swype for my HTC HD2 on your website, and I have to say, it's really amaizing.
There is one problem, I speak french, but I use the german keyboard... qwertz one, and what I would like to know it's : is it possible to use French Dictionnary and use german keyboard ?!?
If we can, could you show me how ? because it's really difficult to use french keyboard, letters "z", "q", "y" or even "m" are not at the same place...

1. Enable it in the "Settings / Language & keyboard / Gingerbread Keyboard"
2. Find a text input (mail app or message app), long press the text view.
3. When the popup comes up, select "Input method" and choose gingerbread keyboard.
* How to install optional dictionaries: Go to "Gingerbread Keyboard Settings" / "Input languages", select (re-select) the language you want. You can also download the language pack from the Android Market also.

hi,
i have a d2g with ics (cm9).
i switched the phone language to be hebrew, and added it to the input method as well.
for some reason i cannot type in hebrew with the physical keyboard, only with virtual one...
can anyone help me with that?
p.s.
with 'go keyboard' app the physical kb does type in hebrew...
I've used dex for a few days, with hungarian keyboard layout (which is QWERTZ and a few special characters). Yesterday something happened out of nowhere, and basically the layout changed to a QWERTZ style US keyboard. No matter what language I switch my input language to, it stays that way. Any suggestions here?
