What Bloatware is safe to remove? - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

I know that removing TMobile MyAccounts is a no-go, but is there anything else that is unsafe to remove? And other than doubletwist does anyone have a list of suggested bloatware to remove? I'm new to removing bloatware on my own and don't want to screw anything up.

Use the term "Bloatware", should offer up enough results to make a forum-educated decision

System apps safe to remove

I am not sure what is safe and what is not to delete. Is there some sort of lockup service directory like in Win7 that tells you what it is or does?
There is really no reason to remove any system apps unless you have a very specific purpose in mind. the samsung and att apps are a different story. You can remove any of those
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
Thanks but is there a list so we know which one is what. Seems there are services that are on here that i don't want that are running ex. TTS, i don't use social network(facebook, etc.), DNLA, Latitiude, YouTube, DRM Content Launcher, etc

Uninstalling vs Freezing Bloatware (Root)

All the bloatware removal tools freeze apps, rather than uninstalling. Is there a reason why?

They were really for temp root when we couldn't remove the apps.

Why do people still suggest freezing now that there is permanent root?
Because it's a failsafe if the frozen bloat item causes an issue, then just unfreeze it. But, if you know the bloat item will not cause an issue then just uninstall it. Some of the old temp root threads recommended what was safe to remove...

[Q] Non-essential apps vs essential apps?

Hi All
I was looking around and couldn't find a definitive answer for the tf101 w/ ICS (not entirely sure if it matters that its a transformer... and am thinking it has more to do with android os than the transformer itself)...
anyway, I was wondering is there a list of non-essential apps (bloatware) that can be removed without messing up the ROM? I'm not sure how the apps are linked with the OS but when you go to uninstall certain apps with titanium backups it gives a warning that removing certain apps may mess up your rom...
Is there a reference list somewhere? there are a number apps that i don't use and parts of me just really likes getting rid of 'junk'...
thanks and much appreciated!

You dont have to delete the apps. Just rename them to *****.akpB or something else, in case you want to use them again!

List of system apps that are safe to remove?

Has anyone compiled a list of system apps that are safe to freeze/remove? I've already frozen the obvious ones but I'd like to strip this thing as bare as I can.
Edit: just saw the thread in general, my bad.

[Q] If I root the device can I remove the bloatware?

just curious as I hear you cant move apps to the SD card. which wont be such a big deal if I can remove some of the existing junk put on there by samsung and increase the space available.
or have I missed something obvious.
If rooted, you should be able to use Titanium Pro to remove anything you don't want.
Place all questions in the Q&A section, thanks

ok cool, thats what i was hoping, thanks
I would freeze the app instead of uninstalling unless you are 100% sure what the app is
