A Jays Three in ear headphones review - G2 and Desire Z Accessories

This is a short review of the A Jays Three in ear headphones.
I ordered these headphones because of the bass heavy buds, the tangle free cable and because of the look.
They fit really nice in my ears and they weigh only 14 grams.
If your looking for nice ear phones with bass heavy buds I can recommend these.
They come with a nice travelling case, only thing is that it is really hard to get them in there! Plus they come with 4 different ear cushions and a air plane plug.

If you have any questions I will answer them.
PS.
I had the iBeats by Dr. Dre before these, they fell out my ear every time because they were heavy. Plus the right ear piece broke a few days ago.
(Sorry for my english, i'm trying to improve it)

I ordered it Thursday or Friday and got it today. The fit is perfect. The buttons are cut out in such a way that they stick through the case (rather than being covered) and I like that. It makes them easy to press but harder to press by accident than the rubber cases that cover the buttons.
If I have one complaint it is that the one in the picture looked more clear. This one has clear spots but the pattern is opaque and not very subtle. I was hoping for less of a pattern and more of the phone's natural beauty to show through.
All total I am satisfied. I ordered a black case (the one with the swirl on the back) the same day so I will see which one I like more when it gets here. I suspect I will like the look of the black one better so I hope the fit is as good as this one.
i have one of these on my xoom. Quality is superb
I just got the black one and I like the way it makes the phone feel
feels a lot better then the tmobile one and I like that the holes are cut out were there suppose to be

Clothespin Earbud/Cord Management

Just a little something I put together, but all my RL friends wanted one, so I'm putting this up here in case people find it useful.
What you need:
wooden clothespin (plastic will also work, but the wooden ones look nicer)
zip tie
earbuds
the clothespin must be this kind/shaped like this, the V-shaped ones will not work:

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Basically you zip tie your earbuds to one of the clotherpin's arms. Tie roughly at the middle of the earbuds, but adjust to suit your needs. Then you wrap the cord down the clothespin and have the pin grasp the end of the cord to keep it from unravelling.
You then wrap the remaining around it for easy unwrapping when you want to use it:
Haha!
Is this some sort of late April fools joke or something?
On a more serious note, that is quite a smart idea! (At least the stock pouch won't leave those plasticky, black, road-tar like marks on the headphone cables anymore.)

The tar-like marks are coming from the beats pocket...they're hanging on the black glue in the beats pocket

Phone Stand

I've been looking for a phone stand for quite some time now. Would really appreciate suggestions or recommendations of stands people have used.
Things I am looking for:
Can hold N4 in portrait and landscape
Minimal coverage of the entire front
Good cable management or built in microUSB charger
Sturdy construction
A lightweight designed stand is what I'm looking for. Let me know if you find anything... I'm new to Nexus and have to replace my iPhone gear.
Are you guys open to diy or strictly something professionally designed?

I was looking for the same thing for my newly bought Nexus 4.
I've searched ebay and didn't find anything that looks decent to be honest.
The most beatiful / pratical thing I've found is this LG Wireless charger: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LG-WCD-80...51188?pt=Battery_Chargers&hash=item3a7fa87b34

}
But the price is simply obnoxious.
Then there is this ones:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sync-Dock...ories_MobilePhoneChargers&hash=item3cd011bd82
Which seem very.. meh. Plastic thing.
Now that first one is sexy! I'd personally be a bit wary of the price and location of the item but if someone gets one and works legit I'd love to know.
Your 2nd link is a charger stand I used with my old LG 2x, they are very good, I had 2 of them (one for work one for home). :good:
I've got two of the second one. Bought off Amazon. Work fine but ensure that they supply the non-case insert adapter as the first one I purchased didn
't come with one. Phone still charges but is slightly loose in the cradle.

I would say pro design, I'm hoping to have something slick in appearance.

The two images posted look pretty good. Too bad the top one is so expensive and out of the price range I was thinking about spending on a stand. Thanks for the suggestions though.

[Q] Need Slim 3.5 mm Adapter for Spigen Neo Hybrid Case

Hey,
I bought a Spigen eo Hybrid case for my Nexus 5. I like to use Sennheiser headphones with it for music playback the 90 minute trip on the transit each way to and from work. Trouble is the headphone jack doesn't fit the recessed hole in the case.
I thought I could find a 3.5 to 3.5 slim adapter for them but the only thing after an hour of Googling is a 3.5mm to 3.5mm slim IPhone audio adapter.
Any suggestions on what I can do other then buy a headset?
Peace...
Is there any reason the iphone one won't work? It's just a 3.5mm to 3.5mm adapter isn't it? the iPhone part is probably just a name they add to it for marketing purposes.

True that!
@OP
You can even take a sharp razor and cut a small portion of the case to widen the hole. However, this may lead to some lint accumulation on that area.
I've used a razor in the past to shave the headphone plug slimmer to accommodate the smaller hole.

i bought an IPhone 3.5 to 3.5 slim headphone jack adapter, it does with with my 280 Pro headphones. Just tested it with my headset, mic works as well. So for $2 or so from Amazon and maybe a couple bucks shipping you can use any headphone with any case.

Cheap extra physical button via 3.5mm jack

Just found what I think is a good deal and potentially quite a bit of fun to be had with my phone. Was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with one of these and if they will work with our nexus 4's.
The one I have ordered is from DX.com for £2.35

Well I've got the Ringke Fusion case so hopefully it'll fit nicely too, just hope the postage from China to the UK doesn't take forever.

I was almost drawn in by pressy, which I assume this is aping. But the placement didn't work for what I wanted. I came from a tilting sliding qwerty, that when open and held in portrait, closely resembled a book and was very comfortable to turn ebook pages with (my thumb hovered right over the keyboard's arrow keys with no reaching necessary). QWERTYs are endangered these days, and tilting QWERTYs even moreso.
For anyone else looking for an alternate 'extra button' solution, check out Dimple on indiegogo. NFC buttons that can be placed nearly anywhere on the back of most phones and can be programmed pretty broadly. Not very cheap ($27 for 4 buttons $17 2 buttons), but very handy looking.
