I cant play a 45mb ppt file on my new galaxy sl I9003,
it always gives me error "not enough memory" whereas all apps are closed & the phone has 201mb of memory available to it.
Could this problem be due to slower micro sd card?
I tested other few ppt files they works fine but but this one is huge 45mb may be that's the reason its not opening.

Works fine for me... Try rebooting?
is there a size limit, mine does not work with a 45mb ppt file but opens smaller file without problem.

Hello everyone!
I hope someone will help me here. I'm pretty much unable use my HTC diamond because of this issue.
With PIE I downloaded a couple of 10-20 mb video files (mp4 format).
When the save dialog popped up it showed the files would be saved in "\internal storage\my documents\my videos".
After download they immediately opened in Windows Media Player and after closing the Media Player I could not find them in the specified folder. I really did not bother about it as I thought they were on the storage card until my phone started giving me the low memory error message. I then realised the files had been stored in the main memory and not on the card.
Now when I try to find those files they are nowhere to be seen. I have tried Total Commander and iSS Explorer Pro for Pocket PC with no avail. I have even tried to clean the memory using the MemMaid. I did clear up some memory but not to the extent of the files’ total size.
I know those files are still there on the main memory because when I try to download the same files again I get the “file already exists” prompt. I just cannot find them and they have taken around 50-60 mb of the total 190 mb space on the main memory.
So after running some programs, my system starts giving me low mem messages as I only have a couple mbs left and I have do the little bit of cleaning again and again.
I did do my best to find the answer on the internet forums before asking the question here but no luck at all.
Please help!!!
A desperate attempt to get an answer. Just thought it would bring this thread up the top to be visible again .
Hii, I use kryllios 9.5 and I enabled a2sd 1gb. Now my phone shows internal memory is low. On checking with titanium it shows:
internal: 201 MB (37.3MB free)
SD card (a2sd): 959MB (571 MB free)
Now basically I used only half of my a2sd space and it is showing my phone memory is full ( I have even sent apps to sd card from menu for the time being to get some space).
Anyone some suggestions???

/data/tombstones/tombstone_xx
file?

I think the files should be enough
but try it (never had these files/directory, cos my phone didnt crash so far)
If you delete the whole folder, no problem afaik, the folder gets created in case of crash
no crash, no folder, easy thought
i have a samaung galaxy s i897 captivate 16gb
its rooted and runs cyanogen mod and miui.
recently i keep getting a warning saying that i'm running out of disc space causing some applications to run slow and as a result (i assume) many of my applications have been force closing.
i dont have a sd card in the phone but for some reason under memory it says
internal storage: 1.53gb available, 1.85 total
sd card 11.5 available, 13.03 available.
its always been split like that though
anyways it seems that i have space available so i dont know what it means when it says i'm "running out of disc space"
i've tried deleting photos etc and apps but it hasnt made a difference.
can anyone help?

Will it work on internal memory? I mean the phone memory.....
The issue is with the phone memory and not with the external SD card
Please Help on the above issue....

I had a similar problem With a Samsung Tab 2.
A message kept coming up, "not enough storage space..."
I had 3.4 GB of videos stored and was unable to open my "Gallery". Also, I was unable use my camera and was unable to delete the unwanted videos that were gunking up my tablet.
Samsung support directed me to do the following.
- Press to open the "Apps" icon on the home page
- Press to open "My Files"
- Press to open "sdcard0"
- Press to open "DCIM"
- Press to open "Camera"
At this point all our photos and videos will be listed.
- Check the box beside the videos you want to delete.
- Press the " trash can" icon at the top of the screen
- And - Poof- those videos are gone
If you delete enough videos and open up enough space your camera and "Gallery" should be operational again
I just came across a new anonymous phone with apparently advanced specs. it seems to cost under $100 and has an octa-core proc with lots of memory and space on it But I am trying to figure out how to fix and mod it to work properly
It is identified by XP as an HTC MK65xx, which got me interested from my Wizard, BA & Wing days and I downloaded drivers which seem to work from the ChinaMobile site. It installs as an MK6571. Whatever that is. It shows up in FMs as a 16 gig media device but with no space on the drive to install anything??
I have tried to get into the file system to see what is taking up all the space but cant see anything besides the photo-gallery which shows as being completely full, no space left, zero bytes used!
The machine is constantly trying to update flipboard, which fails with the usual out of space message.
Application Manager shows 16 gig used on the internal memory which it seems to call an SD card. (THERE IS NO SD CARD SLOT OF COURSE!!)Trying to take a picture results in the same out of space error message INSERT SD CARD as I get if I try to install any app from the app store!
Application Manager does helpfully offer to wipe all data off what it calls the sd card, which sounds adequately dangerous.
Can someone have designed a Chinese phone working on Android which has its operating system taking up all that space and loaded into RAM? Is this likely?
