Own Android Market? - Android Apps and Games

Hi guys,
I have been wondering if there is a template for the Android Market as such, which could be used for smaller groups of people for downloading free apps.
I am looking for a customisable tool, i.e. to be able to change the name of the app and so on. Is there anything in there that would work?
In essence, something just like the Market, but to be used by other people if you know what I mean.
Thanks in advance
Menschik

Just to add some more info, I know it is illegal for that app I am going to describe, but that is exactly the style I want to be the app.
If you search for applanet, you see what I mean. I don't want to use it for that purpose, I just want it to be like that.

"Undo" ?

Hey All -- maybe this is more of a general Android question, but: Is there a universal way to "undo" an action, like deleting a bunch of text? Any way to do this with any of the keyboards that I missed? I know in windows mobile, if you could type "CTRL+Z" you'd undo things, but I have not seen a way to do this in Android, unless a specific app provides that option in the menus. For example, while in a random text editor I downloaded from the Market (I forget which one) I accidentally deleted a line I had selected, and it seems that was that -- there was no way to get it back since the app didn't provide an Undo option! It seems that perhaps the OS might allow this, since most do, but I really couldn't figure anything out.
Anyway, just wondering if there's a trick anyone knows, either specific to the Captivate or one of the keyboards out there, or for Android in general.
Thanks!

[Q] App to tell which apps are most used?

Great site, first post!
I would have found this on my own if it exists, but the nature of trying to find an app that lists your most used apps is difficult to search for.
I was wondering if there is an app out there that functions sort of like a folder on your home screen. One that automatically keeps up with your top 10/15/20 most used apps.
I'm trying to maintain a minimalist home screen and would like to find something like this. Ideally it would be just a single icon that pops up your "favorite" apps when touched. I realize I could of course create a folder for this purpose, but it would be great if there was some sort of automated app for it. Your most used apps likely fluctuate and I think this could be a valuable thing to have.
It could work like the recent apps hotkey. Maybe if there was a way to disable the recent apps from being cleared on a reboot, that would pretty much solve my issue.
Thanks for the help/advice in advance.
I have a Droid 1 for what its worth.

(req) task/process list widget

I can't imagine something like this doesn't exist but I've been searching the market and appbrain for one and I haven't found one yet. The idea is simply to see currently running apps (like the task manager) with the option to kill them from a widget on a desktop. Anyone know of one or even want to get rich making one? I would think plenty of people would find it useful.
Captivate//Serendipity//Swype
search for active apps. it does the same thing at what you want.
anyway, the link is here.

I appreciate the suggestion, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. I'm needing something that will show the active apps and "end" button in the widget itself instead of in a new window.
Captivate//Serendipity//Swype
I need exactly the same app, I have been looking tht for many hours and nothing
I've found plenty of widgets that launcha custom task manager but nothing like this...looks like Dual's gonna learn some java

[Q] Why aren't there more floating apps?

So, there have always been a couple of "floating" apps in the market. For example,
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gpc.myweb.hinet.net.PopupVideo&hl=en
Anyway, my question is why don't other apps use the same framework code that these floating apps use? Or is it just completely different than what I think it is. I've tried asking this on Reddit before but people didn't understand what I was asking and just kept downvoting/ignoring the posts.. Aren't floating apps just basically the Samsung floating ones without having to launch them via the multiwindow launcher?
EDIT:
What I was asking about are floating apps, not associated with touchwiz. Please stop referring to the ones associated with JB.. I have seen the threads that concern customizing your apps such that they can be launched with the multiwindow launcher, but that is not what I am asking about. Again, look at the playstore link, it works with non-touchwiz android strains, right? That's what I am talking about. Please READ this before posting a comment about touchwiz AGAIN.
I think this is resolved in that we've decided that it is because developers think that people don't care about multitasking for tablets, not necessarily because it is hard to implement.

Right, so you've misunderstood my question..
I mean, the floating calculator apps and whatever from before the Galaxy Note Line came out, these all work on other devices. Why is it that apps can't incorporate the framework within them to be used whenever, without using the multiwindow launcher?
Let me tell you why your posts were ignored.
It seems you're not so much asking a question as pushing an agenda.
You seem to want someone to say "wow that's a great idea let's do that!"
In which case your question is moot.
Either that or you're just assuming for some reason that app developers aren't
making everything multiwindow because it's difficult to implement. More likely
devs could give a *%#$ about multiwindow when coding an app i.e. it's not a
priority.

Yes.. basically. I don't know how to code Android apps (my experience with programming is in analytical things) so I don't exactly know how much work is involved in getting that framework into an existing code. I assumed that multiwindow is an attractive option because of the hype regarding Cornerstone and now Samsung's multitasking abilities, but I guess that isn't really the case. Is it actually hard? I'm still not sure I have an answer for that because it just sounds like you're telling me no one gives a ****, which is an answer to one of my questions, but not all of them..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998133
Here ya go, make ANY app multi screen. Enjoy.
This option still requires the Multiwindow launcher, correct?
Or does it not actually require the multiwindow launcher, but there's no way to distinguish between wanting to launch it as a window and launch as a whole screen except through the multiwindow launcher?
Otherwise.. you just didn't read the rest of the thread or my posts.
No, it seems he didn't read any of the posts above.
And again yeah, I think multiwindow is not a priority for most app devs.
With enough people clamouring for it, well who knows?
The truth is, every addition requires more effort as well as implementing features
that the dev may not have thought of. What if the target audience is phones only?
What if the target is multiple devices? I myself have no experience coding for android,
but an educated guess would tell me that's where the problem lies. I'm sure you've
read that one problem with android is the multiple devices it runs on...
Ah.. You're probably right. I was just thinking that it'd be the most excellent way to differentiate Android tablet apps (because all the review articles love to say that iPads have tablet optimized apps but Android tablets don't). I guess I'll look into it as a side project after qual's...
Aren't floating apps integrated to touchwiz?
Not what I was asking.. but yes.
There are apps that "float" without using touchwiz, such as a browser and a video player, but nothing to organize them the way samsung did. That said, multiwindow is coded into the OS rather than apps running workarounds to make it float. I can't say all apps should be floating, like games or whatnot, but the ones that you use on a daily basis would be more worth floating. There could be 1, 000 reasons why devs don't float all their apps, but if they don't then they don't. But if they do, it wouldn't be a bad idea to make an app that organizes floating windows into a multiwindow setting. The only problem is making the app. It might be worth looking into samsung's source code to see what they do to make it work.

Project Tango

Just wanted to know if anyone has a Project Tango? What do you use it mostly for? Not many apps for it. No accessories for it right know. Not really much to do with it. Just wanted to get other peoples view on it. I personally like it. Cool technology.
I'm just finding out about this and would like more information on it. It can be a very useful app for anything relating to real estate and home improvement.

Yap. About the only one I can download is a lowe's app. Now I have to go to Lowe's to try this app. I went to project tango site and all the apps there is not compatible with my device ugh.
I have been searching how to make my zmax pro tango compatible or what sensor or anything really that I can add. All I see is a command line. But I think you need a root for that.
I usually don't pay attention to 'not compatible' message and just search for an apk file. But obviously these apps are not popular or are still in developing stage coz I can't find any apk yet.
But if anyone has AR or tango apps that they use can you just link me or tell me what apps are those.
