I have a Touch Diamond2 t5353 (Australian non Telstra) with a nice interface and I just bought a second Touch Diamond2 t5362 (Australian Telstra) which has a less appealing interface and numerous icons and links I do not want such as links to Bigpond.
Can I duplicate the ROM from the better phone and somehow replace the ROM on the second phone so that they are identical?
If so, could someone explain how to do it?
Thanks

Hi,
Considering buying either a stock Kaiser or possibly UK T-Mobile Vario 3 but want to know if it's possible to get the software keyboard/keypad (standard on the Touch Dual) on the Kaiser/Vario 3.
Had a look at Dutty's TouchFlo ROM thread but can't see anything there, or is it available as a download from HTC?
The soft keyboard/pad is a must-have for me, for when the slider QWERTY keyboard is too fiddly to use.
Thanks (and sorry if I have not searched properly for this!),

Taiseer999,
Many thanks for that - you've persuaded me to buy one!

Hello everyone, I was wondering if there wil be a release (ROM or APP) either from HTC or from xda devs that will contain the new touch flo 3D from touch pro2 for the raphael. Is this possible? I believe that the screen difference is a great issue, however the new tf3D is great i think. I know there are some apps from the new diamond but some don't work well and they don;t create the same tf3D environment with touch pro2. Thanks for the answers.
XBmod and his group have been working on it for a month, they are almost done. ENRGZ28 has a rom with it now, it is in beta. Look in the rom development section and you will find plenty of threads to read and enjoy. It is awesome.
Hi experts,
I have been using on a HTC Excalibur the WM6.1 (non-touch smartphone edition) today screen with great satisfaction.
I liked the design and the clear organisation of this today screen.
I now moved to a touch device with also WM6.1, but really miss my good old non-touch "today" screen. The touch version is completely different and IMHO less well organized.
Do you know, if there is a solution existing to retrieve this today screen from the old device to run it on the new one instead of the touch versions and the modified HTC flavors of it?
Thank you for your advice...

I recently upgraded to a T-Mobile MDA Compact V and having spent a few hours playing around with a customised version of the HTC Touch Diamond2 interface I used the Hard-SPL to flash the ROM with an original ROM, which I would like to add is much better.
I then starting thinking whether it is possible to replace the Windows based OS with the latest version of Andriod packaged with the HTC Hero. The HTC Touch Diamond2 and the HTC Hero appear to have quite a few similarities in terms of specifications so would it really be difficult to install Andriod...???
If any one knows then please enlighten the rest of us.
Thanks,
Khaz

A lot of people are working on Android ports for WM devices. Having said that, I would wait (unless you are a programmer, someone with the knowledge to do this, or simply an adventurer with high chances of getting an expensive paperweight )
Look in the threads (or Google) for Android port +WM or something like that. Good luck
BTW, you should have posted this in the Q&A section...
I bought a fabulous android device, and I'd like to give my old Htc touch Viva to my father BUT WM 6.1 original is not accessible to a 60 years old man.. the font is too small, buttons are small the interface isn't intuitive and so on..
My simple question is:
Is there a ROM that fits my needs? in other words: is there a ROM for old people that could be installed on my old phone?
