Bluetooth barcode scanner? - Android Apps and Games

I was wondering if there is anyway to tether an android phone to a mac to be used as a barcode scanner for programs like delicious library? I don't have a web cam for my mac mini, and was wondering if I could use my phone.

Barcode Scanner

Hello,
I was searching for a good barcode scanner and really fall in love with
shopsavvy. But it always crashes after a few scans and I have to
restart my phone. Does it work on your devices?

[Q] Remote Access to Windows Media Player

Hi - Is anyone aware of an Android app that will allow you to access your Windows Media Player library over the internet, remotely (ie from someone elses house)?
I can access it in the house using 2player.. but what would be really cool would be able to access my media over the internet from a friends house, or even at work..
Or do I need to install a third party app on my PC at home too? (I'd rather not do that unless it's the only option... and if it is the only option.. which one is the best one to choose?)
Thanks.

[REQUEST] Looking for an app that will turn my device into a media server

What im trying to do is to get my ps3 to connect to my androids as media servers. I am NOT looking for an app that connects to media servers- there are a ton of those on the market. I keep ALL my music on my android devices. I would like for them to BE the media server. Though, it seems there are few apps that do this.
I tried "Remote media!" From the market. It works up to the point where I go to listen to an mp3, then times out. Otherwise, my ps3 can connect to my android and display all the right folders. But there are some bugs with actually streaming the content. Didn't get it to stream once on either of my devices.
Does anyone know of such an app? Thanks for your help!
If your device has DLNA capabilities, you can use iMedia share from the market.

I tried media, though it wasn't locating my media and seemed to be a bit bulky of an app with all the options of websites to stream to your tv. I mightily it again in a few, but really lookingbfor a simple clean app. I wish remote media would work.
Twonky Mobile - very bulky though.

Share Me - https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sygem.android.shareme_free Worked okay from what I remember, but I didn't buy as I have all my stuff on my Nas - was just testing it out.
share me and remote media seem to work up to thebexact same point- until I click Olay. so this might indicate an issue that I can fix. But what issue? Upnp seems enabled on all devices. what else?
Any help?
Look out for an app called media server or something like this from Sony Ericsson. You won't find it in the market because it's one of the preinstalled apps on the Arc.
It has dlna capabilities too and worked for me when I tried to connect with my PC

blarghle!
Im very frustrated. It seems this works properly, but there is some upnp error as far as I can guess.
I have newest firmware for router,
Enabled upnp on ps3,
Servers are running on EVO/jetstream,
Ps3 shows all folders, files, and even images from the gallery,
Images show with no problem,
When playing an mp3, it says data is corrupt, when it is not.

Hi. Try Skifta. It works well for me!
Check it in Android Market.

Air sync
Android device and PS3/Xbox need to be on the same wifi source.
Run air sync and you can share media to anything pretty much. Here ya go.

[Q] Printer for Xoom?

I know that this xoom has Bluetooth and wireless capability so would it be possible to purchase a printer that would allow me to print from my xoom?
Would I need to install drivers on my xoom?
Thanks
I have an hp wireless printer setup up on my home network. I installed the hp printer app from hp for my android devices, there is one in the playstore as well.
I can print with no issues using the app. I print pictures and all types of documents with no issues.....i can do this with my gnex and xoom.
Good luck.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
There's also a MotoPrint app, but I have no knowledge about it sorry.
There is also Google Cloud Print
There is also Google Cloud Print, where you can print to any printer attached to (or networked to) a computer running a Chrome browser. You just install Cloud Print and share your printer (with yourself). The printer driver used is the one installed on the computer. A bit more complex that WiFi direct like the HP, but will work with any printer.

[Q] Windows PC - Android NFC

I found out my Ultrabook has an NFC transmitter under the touchpad!
I noticed when I put my Android down on my laptop's touch pad, & it vibrated.
I was able to send websites & maps from Android ► PC.
It didn't support large file transfers for pics though. Don't know if that's because there's no default program for it, or the transmitter really doesn't support it.
Anyone know if there are programs to beam stuff from PC ► phones? I normally use QR to copy text from my PC, so it would make text sending really fast.
