I just want to convert a stock RUU rom into a Clock Works Recovery flashable ZIP format that I can compile and decompile, I know that RUU.exe extracts the stock nbh rom file on the pc, I can locate this file but then idk how to extract its contents...or how to convert the nbh rom file into a recovery flashable ZIP rom file.....any advice? Also its the stock sprint rom for the evo shift.

Anyone know how to customize Rom for i9001, I get a system.img.ext4 file from the official Rom, then I open it with ext2explore and can get the system files.
Now I want to customize those files and then zip them to a zip file. I know I have to perform a signature for the zip file. However, the tool for signature is HTC android kitchen which I can find, and it only support Galaxy S(You must use RMGeren's SGS version of this kitchen)

Sorry, i tried open ROMS for CWM, like PRIME or Revolver.
ok but what type of file? is it just a zip or is it the blob file
It's a blob file inside the cwm rom zip file... what to do?

I've been trying to find an ics radio for my ATT-based Galaxy Note SGH-I717. I've downloaded Padawan's rom for JB & installed it via TWRP, but I need to revert to an ATT ics modem so I can unlock my phone.
I have the the ATT stock radios bin files that's posted on XDA's site, but don't know what folder I should copy the bin files to in my phone. I have the zip file saved in my /sdcard folder. When I try to install, I keep getting "Error flashing ' /sdcard/Att_Radio_Files.zip' error.
I have had no problems flashing other zip files from the /sdcard folder in the past.
Are there any instructions to install these files?:fingers-crossed:

If I want to make my own .zip file to flash it using CWM and boot in some linux distro; say debian, what should be included in this .zip file?
Is it as simple as putting my .img file in a .zip file?
I think your best option is to follow this tuto : whiteboard.ping.se/Android/Debian
If you try to flash directly a debian img, you'll miss some libraries and won't even boot.

i HAVE Downaloaded latest .kdz file from LG-P990 Offiicial binary and i have installed CustomROM (CWM) and would like to install .kdz from CWM.
Hence i need to convert .kdz file into flashable via CWM. Please let me know if some one did this way ?
