Hi all!
Does anybody now how I could change the Keyboard layout on my UK XDA to an German Layout (QWERTZ)?
Is there maybe also a way to extend the dictionary with german words?

about the dic then it should learn words and start sugesting often used words which in your case would be german
Is it possible to install a new xt9 or t9 dictionary to the android system?
Or adding a new one to ultra keyboard.... I'm trying to get the Icelandic dictionary into my phone.
I've got a HTC wildfire
Same Here, I would need to had one language that is not in my Android version by default, Is that possible ?

Hi all.
I recently got my nexus 1 from USA. It came with 2.3.1 installed, and I manually upgraded to 2.3.3. After update i was able to set my system language to norwegian, and change my keyboard layout to norwegian, but the built in dictionary is missing. I currently use the gingerbread keyboard from the market, which has the norwegian dictionary available, but as I am a fan of stock 2.3.3 with original software, i am wondering if anyone can enlighten me if the full 2.3.3 contains the dictionary in question?

Me too... the brazilian portuguese dictionary is missing after the update...
I am an Indian and here in India we don't usually text in our native language, We type in english but fuse our language HINDI with it(Hinglish) . So, I was wondering if someone could help me by porting a Hinglish dictionary for either ICS Keyboard or Perfect Keyboard Pro.
P.S : There is a Hinglish Dictionary on the Play Store called AdaptTxt Hinglish dictionary, It would be great if someone would help me integrate it with the keyboards mentioned earlier.
Thanks.

Hello guys,
I just flashed this ROM and it seems really great. Big up for Timduru!
Just one question.
I´m using czech keyboard layout for the asusec hardware keyboard. This layout is by default qwertz.
Anyway I would like to use czech qwerty layout. Is it possible?
I´ve read that the qwerty layout was in 4.2.2 and Timduru changed it in 4.3.x to qwertz - so any chance to have both of them?

I was also looking into the following location based on the thread linked bellow but couldn´t find anything regarding czech layout (which I could modify)
/system/usr/keychars
/system/usr/keylayout

Thanks a lot for your help.
p.s. I misstzpe Z and Y so manz time just to write this post
You can do it with selecting two languages for example: Czech (qwertz) and English (qwerty) and just switching between them with "Ctrl+Space Bar".
When you need to use characters like: "ř,ž,č,š" you can just easily switch to the czech layout from the english one. (Czech here!)
Jako nejlepší řešení mi příjde si zvolit dva jazyky a měnit mezi nima!

Dagnan thanks for your reply but that is not a solution for me. I'm used to qwerty even when using czech language, so that would mean switching the languages all the time to write something in czech.
