[Q] Missing Attach on Webmail Android - General Questions and Answers

Possibility to attach files on Webmail is normal on PC/Web browser.
But when using Android the Attachment possibility does not exist at Yahoo and Hotmail (back to stone-age)
(have also tried to change User Agent String to normal Browser)
(have also tested differetnt browsers)
Is there a hack or other webmail with possibility to attach files in Android

[Q] Any app to sign documents?

Hi guys, just got my tab last week and have been looking for an app which allows one to digitally sign on the tab, ideally on PDF. Any app out there right now?
Thanks

I use APG (Android Privacy Guard) which integrates nicely with the device OS (for example when opening files from a file browser, email attachment, etc). It also works well with the K9 email client, so I can sign and encrypt email messages using PGP (Pretty Good Privacy).

[Q] Anyone using a blueyonder.co.uk email address

Since Virginmedia in the UK made the changes to their email system, my old XML file for importing my blueyonder email address no longer works - my phones does not receive email (but can send correctly).
It just does not seem to download it - although I can see the emails there via the webmail interface.
Does anyone have a currently working xml for a blueyonder email address that they could share (obviously chnage the username and password bit).
I cannot get it to download the emails manually (ignoring the xml) either.
Cheers
C.

Can't open PDF Attachments with Email Client

I apologize if this has been asked before, but i haven't been able to find what i need through search tool.
We're demoing a Galaxy Tab here at work, and one thing we have got stuck on is the email client. We use Domino email server, so when setting up the email account options, we chose "other" for the account type. This works, we can send and receive mail just fine; however, there is one problem. When we receive a PDF attachment, there are no options to view/preview/save the attachment. We've installed Adobe Reader from the market to see if that would help, but no luck.
We can receive text files and other files and view them without issue. We also tried sending the same PDF attachment to our test gmail account. The gmail client opened the attachment without any problems.
Any ideas? Is this a strange issue with the "other" account type ? We're stuck.
Well it works fine here using the email app (not the gmail one) with a gmail account
Maybe because i updated to Firmware JM6? I don't know..
I have a corporate account configured on my tab (Zimbra) and everything is fine using the standard mail app (I can fetch and open attached pdf files).
Have you tried to configure the account through Accounts and Sync in Settings, instead of using the mail configuration in mail app? Don't know if it an be different, but I have configured that way and it's working .. just remember to disable contacts sync if you don't want to mesh contacts from corporate
Install Blackmoon attachsave from the market

[q] tricking exchange server with owa

Hi, I can flawlessy access my work mailbox via OWA using my default android browser and my phone. I asked my IT manager to being able to sync my phone directly with the work account (using a staightforward redirect to my gmail account) but I've been told it's not allowed. As I can access via web, I guess there should be a way to trick the server, in order to have the mail directly on my phone (it "thinks" I'm accessing via browser but I'm using default android gmail client instead).
anyone knows howto?
tks a lot

Manually Sync Saved password from PC (Honeycomb)

Hi, I've posted in 7.7 but there's no response, perhaps because it requires certain level of hacking, so i'm putting it here :
There's one problem with honeycomb's stock browser,
the browser sync for saved password doesn't work,
This page confirms that there's a bug with honeycomb's browser sync :
hxxp://code.google.cxm/p/android/issues/detail?id=18937
I mainly use tab for browsing so it's a big problem for me because i have hundreds of passwords on my PC (Chrome/Firefox) and i can't remember them all..
Firefox for Android is not an option because i prefer using the stock browser, i've tried FF and it's just terribly slow
So Is there anyway to manually sync the saved passwords from your PC (Chrome) to 7.7? Perhaps by copying csv / xml file to certain folders?
On my phone (n900)
I was able to do this by replacing these 2 files on N900's browser directory:
signons.sqlite & key3.db
Gotten from my PC's firefox profiles..
So is it possible to do the same with rooted honeycomb?
Anyone?
Perhaps by editing the database?
