This is a battery icon mod for Stock KB5. This is NOT an Accurate Battery Mod with Percentage, so just get that out of your head now.
ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP! I've done this method a couple of times with no issues off of a stock Framework, but everyone is different.
Pull framework-res.apk from /system/framework to your /sdcard using ADB.
adb shell
su
mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /system
exit
exit
adb pull /system/framework/framework-res.apk framework-res.apk
Click to collapse
Unzip the file and push the framework-res.apk to /system/framework using ADB. Pay no attention to the other graphic changes as that's not part of this mod and its not done yet anyway.
adb push /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework
reboot

I would include the stock framework as well, this way people can go back if needed.
Thanks for the suggestion. I've edited the OP to make a backup in case anyone has problems.
edit: Figured it out... thanks!
Is the Signal Bar going to be Vertical like that in the picture?
yes, its an attempt to make it look more like Honeycomb, but I'm waiting until a suitable rom comes out to make a CWM flashable theme.

to install you need to have the android sdk installed.
place the bootanimation.zip file into the tools directory of the sdk folder.
enable usb debugging on your phone, plug in your phone and choose charge only if prompted.
open a cmd prompt cd into the tools directory of the sdk folder.
first backup your old bootanimation with
Code:
adb remount
adb shell
mv /system/media/bootanimation.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip.bak
exit
now push the new bootanimation with
Code:
adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip
now test the new bootanimation by turning on the screen on your phone and entering
Code:
adb shell bootanimation
or rebooting your phone
hope you like it.
Cool! Will you put this in a flashable .zip?

would be cool to have the music along with it!
adding music would be copyright infringement though

Now if we could get a LiveWallpaper to go with, that would be even better.

I've been working on making some live wallpapers but i hadn't thought about a knight rider one though, i might give it a shot.
Is there a way to get this made for windows mobiel? I have an HD2 and I love the show. I would like to put anything on my phone regaurding Knight Rider.
Credits go to the original themer and fascinate port located here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=949965. Currently it's missing an icon and I will try to find a replacement. There are quite a bit of other things that aren't themed and I'm hoping to get a chance to work them in as well, so stay tuned. EDIT: 2/20 I will be looking at a diff port for this soon, a complete one
Prerequisites:Need to be on 2.2 and a deodexed ROM installed (I.E. Pick and Pack) If you already have a EA11 theme on it, you'll be just fine too. Note: The font shown here is just one of the 300 flashable fonts, link located in the theme forum.

The link is still up, what issues are you having? Just click "download file" which is located on the lower right of screen, do the captcha then wait the 30 seconds for the "slow download" link to pop-up.
Running great for me. Prefer this one over the midnight, cleaner looking to me anyways
This is the boot-animation that was on the Nexus 7 given out at I/O before it received the JB OTA. The only thing i changed is the screen dimensions to fit to our N1s.
Preview
(Note: animated gif is 6 mb, so it may load some time until you see the full beauty of the nexus dna (as i like to call it))

The flashable Zip (nexus7-bootanimation-signed.zip) can be installed via recovery.
If you downloaded the bootanimation.zip, place the downloaded zip in path of adb and type
1.) Backup your current bootanimation:
Code:
adb pull /system/media/bootanimation.zip bootanimation-backup.zip
2.) Push new bootanimation
Code:
adb remount
adb shell rm /system/media/bootanimation.zip
adb shell rm /data/local/bootanimation.zip (may or may not exist)
adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media

That's the JB boot animation. This is the Nexus7. I prefer this because the graphics are much better. With tommert38's JB animation, i think the glow effect is just too pixelated (though i don't know if that is just because the original one is like this).
Looks pretty cool to me.. Thanks
flashable zip

Battery Mod - Stock Battery with %
Hi guys, i thought it would be nice to have back Stock Battery with %, which i'm used to. So i created one, using UOT Kitchen. So all credits goes to them.
This works on stock odexed rom.

}
Credits:
- to jmztaylor and Facepalm crew for getting S-Off and for his tips
- UOT Kitchen for making the files
- the community where it did a lot of research
Notice:
I tested this myself on a european non-lte phone and it works. But as always bricks can happen and i am not responsible if your phone is dead afterwards.
Don't do this, if you are not experienced enough!
As i'm not familiar in creating flashable zip files, i call this "Beta" until somebody confirm it is working on other devices too!
Requirements:
You need to be S-Off, cause otherwise your system partition will be write protected.
This is made for an european non-lte device with ICS and i used the files from it for kitchen so i think it will only work for non-lte ICS devices!
Download:
- Flashable Battery Mod.zip
- Flashable Stock Battery.zip
How to do:
As this is in beta status, make a nand backup before flashing anything!!!
Copy the Flashable Battery Mod.zip to your sd card, reboot to your recovery and install it through recovery.
If you are experienced with adb commands you can also extract the SystemUI.apk & framework-res.apk from the zip and push them with adb.
If you want stock battery back, use Flashable Stock Battery.zip and do the same steps.
Have fun.
Hello old.splatterhand! No way to have the battery percentage for LTE devices (soon)?

After broke my head a little, I finally made to work the Motokey for Moto x4 to work on our device.

Just follow this guide and be happy.
1 - Download this file and file two XML files and place on system/etc/permissions and set permissions to 644
2 - download and extract the MotoKeySystemSupport.zip and place in system/priv-app and set permissions to 644 for files APK, odex and vodex
3 - download and extract the MotoKey.zip and place in system/priv-app and set permissions to 644 for files APK, odex and vodex
4 - reboot and be happy.
Didn't work for me. The XML files delete themselves after reboot. Motokey is selectable but force closes.

I'm sorry to hear that, when I reboot my phone, the Moto Key shows a FC notification once, but works really good after that. I'll take a look if my XML files are missing and made some modifications just wait a little bit more
