Adobe flash issues? - HTC Inspire 4G

seems most of the video I watch have what a appears to be a white sheath over 90% of the video. The bottom 10% looks fine. The video looks ok and plays fine, but its obviously not producing the best quality.
Is this a ROM issue or just how the phone is currently rendering flash video?
Thanks.

[Q] disappointed in HDMI quality. Any solutions?

So I finally got around to playing with hdmi on the transformer. I must say, I am very disappointed in the quality of the output.
First off, my display (a 50" plasma) is set to 16x9. The picture is chopped about 40-50 pixles on every side. Like the screen is zoomed in larger. What's going on here?
Second issue is that I was able to get streaming video from hulu working, but the quality is not very good. The picture is blocky and choppy. Youtube is the same.
So why is video quality so bad and is there a fix?
Thanks!

Sounds like maybe it's because you are watching low def content on a hdtv?
your overscan settings are wrong.

fullscreen flash video playback issues

Everytime I try to make a flash video full screen for some reason it just goes to a black screen. The video keeps playing and so does sound but its all black until I hit the back button to go back to small video then its fine again. This occurs with any and all flash videos played in the browser on desktop view from embedded YouTube videos to videos on ESPN, etc.
Any ideas?
I use opera mobile. It works pretty well for imbedded full screen YouTube videos. I sometimes have problems with the stock browser playing YouTube if the internet connection is not that good.

[Q] Video problems please help if possible?

Hey guys at a major issue right now i was recording a video of my daughter earlier she was at sesame place and the phone was on a low power like under 10% but it recorded just fine as i was watching the video. I then looked at the video on video playback mode with even few different programs and it just plays back with lines and i thought ok maybe its a ROM issue with the video playback but i took videos of her before this before battery was under 10% and worked fine now im thinking is that the issue? I let the phone charge and still video does not play correctly sound plays perfectly but no video.
Really trying to find a solution to this because it was a great time and want to be able to share it with her. i can upload the video if needed
ROM - extreme sensation v1.2 im pretty sure
Thanks all for the reading
If you need me to upload the video i will if u can find the problem thank u all

choppy video recordings?

Hi Guys,
does any of you have issues with recorded videos?
When i shoot a video in 4K the video is not smooth - seems like from time to time some frames get stuck or something and it breaks the fluidity of the video (the footage kindof skips some frames).
I tried shooting in 1080p60fps and in this mode i occasionaly get pretty significant FPS drops (from 60fps)
See example of a video shot in 4k:
https://cloud.leitner.ltd/index.php/s/THMnU8BVXdFqZsm (see a frame skip at 7-8 seconds?)
is it supposed to be like this? I tried wiping the cache in the recovery, but that didnt help. When i first got the phone 2 months ago, videos looked okay.
Try to do a fresh install, clear all data and without any apps running in the background. If it still happen, that could be a hardware issue.
I have same problem on my u11 6/126gb. I'm experiencing fps drops on 60fps recording.
I have the same issue with my u11 ?
Just a thought...are you saving the video to the internal memory or sd card?

Video Problem

Hi, i have been watching a lot of videos in reviews and youtube and i have noticed a common problem in video recording, like some frame dropping. You can check in this video with the train movement.

(i can't share the full link, please put the http an 3w first)
Is any way to fix it?
Thanks!
Hi,
yes it is.. Disabling EIS helps a lot, but mostly it works without often frame drops using FilmicPro or Open Camera ( this is most stable for video recording).
About fix for a stock camera, I would not put many hopes for it, even Mi 10 Pro with SD 865 does video with stutters. I believe this most of software problem.
Similar to what Dom said. I don't think it's frame drop, it looks like the image EIS stabilisation is getting confused with the scene moving at different speeds. It's probably trying to track train motion and floor motion.
Try again with image stabilisaion disabled. If you need steady footage maybe see if your video editor handles it better.
Also in the low light scenes the EIS gives footage a weird ghosting effect (even the GoPro7 does it).
I wish there was an auto disable EIS in low light option
Shouldnt the OIS help? So its not completely unstabillized? That should work for video as well and maybe evene better?

Click to collapse
OIS is always on and cannot be turned off as it's a physical part of the camera sensor. However the OIS level of stabilisation is subtle compared to EIS
