I bought an app while my phone was stock, NFS Shift. After updating to EA-11 then EB-16, I thought maybe waiting a few days would make my app show up but it hasn't. I logged into the market on my laptop and it shows that i indeed have paid for the app but my carrier is SeaMobile. WTF!!!!!! I'm lost here. After some suggestions found out in the wilds of the web, I went and looked at the /system/build.prop file and it says uscc in there so whats up? Is anyone else experiencing this? I am really confused by this. The market says SeaMobile isn't a supported carrier. I have bought other apps while on ea11 and they showed up
I've noticed that market thinks the phone is no longer compatible with the NYTimes reader, but that's the only issue I've had. I don't think it said I was another carrier though?
Mine did the same thing. I heard the desire did something similar after the official froyo too. Not sure if it still does our not. I'd guess it has something to do with the way google reads our firmware since it's not official?

Just realized that it says SeaMobile for me too. Weird..
Has anyone found a fix for this yet, I'm really stumped? I'll pay, beg, and or humiliate myself if it gets this fixed. Lol, seriously though I will do whatever it takes.

I've noticed this too... Paid for NFS: Shift and Tetris when it was on sale and now I can't get them back since upgrading. Even after I downgraded back to Eclair, I couldn't get them back. Oh well. It is what it is, and I'm out $2. No big deal I suppose.
This is happening on both builds. The build.props are both correct for the market. The only thing I can think, is that these aren't supposed to be available yet so the market doesn't recognize the phones. I'm going to try a few things tonight.

Thanks for doing some digging Phidelt. Like I posted earlier there were a lot of people having similar issues when the official FroYo release came out for the desire. I think its just google being slow about updating the market to recognize the phones.

Seems to me like you need to incorporate a market enabler and trick the market to think we have 2.1 maybe?? I have a link to one....or better yet imma try it out let you know how that goes

Glad to see that others are having the same issue. I had a feeling it was due to the "leaked" signature.
I haven't been able to find Bejeweled 2 and a few other new apps because the market thinks I am a Seamobile phone.
Umm it was showing SeaMobile when I was on stock 2.1
It isn't a bug, USC just isn't that well known.
Also as for NFS Shift, I bought it when it was on sale and I just upgraded to EB16 and had to factory reset.
NFS Shift can no longer be purchased because of some legal thing with Verizon.
Also people who did purchase it could not re-install it and had to repurchase it for 10$.
A bunch of bull if you ask me.

this site and many other and even the apps official website but I cannot find the TAPATALK app at all. I can see it on a couple sites and even the QR code but it does not show in the market.
Can someone point me to a downloadable apk file for this app? The free version is fine with me. I am running 2.1 leak v.2 on a Droid Eris.
I already have the XDA app that uses Tapatalk but I want the one to customize with more than 1 site.

I love this wallpaper, I just downloaded it about an hour ago, and now I can't get anything done on my phone because I'm too worried about the zombies escaping!
I bought my tab from carphone warehouse, but it didn't come with nfs on it. However the demo tab I tried in the store did have it on. Did anyone get this? Or know how I can get it? It's not on the gameloft site, and the galaxy s installer shows corrupt graphics.
It any one has the apk/game data would be appreciated, or even just a way to get it officially!
Also didnt get NFS, but afaik its not actually released for the public and still in development.

I got it from the UAE. So middleastern/asian version you can say. Phone works, but no android market.

I "thought" it was on one of the blogs I follow (IE.. Engadget, Gizmodo, AndroidandMe, and Androidspin)

There is still no official word from Sprint or Samsung that this is the official release. Yes, it could be. But it called also be RC1 or Beta 9 -

Unless I am mistaken, bluetooth voice dialing is not a native function of froyo, it is included in a google app that is only compatible with froyo. As with all google apps, carriers can choose whether or not to include it. If it is not pre-installed, it can be downloaded from the market.

I got this message Saturday night, but I have not tried to install it because im rooted and custom froyo rom and i9000 kernal.
I got a message this week too. But I figured it was the 'gps fix' message from a month or two ago...whenever that wash. I never got that message.
I too have a ROM on so it wouldn't come to me anyway.

Trust me, it's not Froyo. As has been stated a ton of times, it's just AT&T sending out batches of update texts for the 2.1 previous upgrade.
Netflix is now on the market ... supports most 2.2 2.3 devices
Just not ours...
It works on xoom which is a Tehran device.... is it some sort of lib file.we need? Another file..

It may not work on Weapon or other stock based roms but it works on CM7 just fine.

Yeah the netflix app from the market works flawlessly on my G2X. I'm on the MIUI rom 1.9.9 though if that makes a difference.
