Hey
I woluld like to update to the latest Smoki ROM but I have a little problem... In the browser I saved a password that I don't remember... so if I update the ROM I think I will lost it and then I will not be able to access that site anymore..
Is there a way to recover that password? Any suggestion?
Thank you in advance..
Marco
Do a nand backup incase this don't work.
Backup the browser data with titanium backup. Then restore on your new rom.
Can't guarantee this will actually work as I never used titanium backup that much. Give it a go and let us know.

is not a way to "discover" that password instead of backup browser data??

Do you know what that post in Titanium Backup is called?
Is it really your phone?

Why not go to that website on your desktop/laptop and click 'forgotten password?' Depending on the site it may ask for other details such as a username, email address, secret question/answer etc.

Old thread but I need help on this matter.
How can I recover stored password in android stock browser? I have lost my hotmail account password and I cannot recover that as I haven't created that trusted computer. No more secret questions etc with microsoft... I have been mailing with microsoft support for about one month and I haven't been able to prove identity
i own a rooted epic 4g and my primary gmail account password got changed. now ive lost access to the android marketplace.
i looked around online and the only solution ive seen is to 'factory data reset'. i dont want to reset my phone, though. ive also tried going to my sync list and deleting my primary gmail but it wont let me.
does anyone know of an easier solution? if not, i suppose ill just do a nand backup, reset my phone, and then nand restore everything. or will that not even work?
please help!

Add a second account through Accounts & Sync, then delete the first account.
Or, when you restore (I'm assuming through Titanium Backup), don't restore system apps/data, just user apps.
Couldn't you just reset your Gmail password? Then, open the Gmail app - it should ask you for your password - and input your new password.

i did add the second account but when i go to delete my original email account, it says i cant delete it.
no, ive always used just the basic nand backup and restore. and i cant access the app store to download titanium because i need an functioning email account to do it.
yes, i tried to restore my password but apparently i didnt provide enough accurate information. i could only answer a select few questions i actually knew.
Go to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications
Find junk with Google in its name, click on it, choose clear data. Wash, rinse, repeat until done.
Here's a link to Titanium Backup from my Dropbox: http://db.tt/K2lwLwm
Download & install it. Then, backup all user apps and data. If you've already done a nandroid backup, just do a factory reset or go into recovery and wipe & flash a new rom.
When the rom boots, put in your other Gmail account that you know the password for and that'll be your new primary Gmail account. You can then restore your apps with Titanium Backup.

just curious, will this delete all my numbers? i should write them all down just in case, though.

if your numbers are backed up and visible in your gmail contacts, you should be fine.
Ok I have forgot the email address for my normal account "Stealthee" Ive basically just been using titanium Backup to restore the apps to my phone when I try new roms. Is there a place in my backup I might find the stored password. Or can I get someone to verify me and give me my password. The password reset only works and resets this one j71rivera.

Hi,
I've broken my Xiaomi Mi 9 and need to transfer one app in particular before I send it off for repair.
The app in question is the Starling banking app, which is currently logged in on my device, I no longer have the login details so need to be able to backup and restore on another device without having to login.
I'm restoring on a bluestacks device and it isn't working, only restoring the app, and then it hangs on the loading screen. I have backedup and trying to restore app with user data.
I've emailed Titanium support a month ago but they haven't replied!
Can anyone help?
