Galaxy S Widgets? - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

I was just curious, where is Daily briefing or the Accuweather clock located?

nevermind, found them!

WHere did you find them?

I did a google search for them. Found the .apk(s) and shot them to my phone. Then used Astro to find them and the app manager to install them.

nexus one power control widget

Hi guys, just registered to this forum. I was watching youtube videos between my phone (mytouch 3g) and the nexus one. In the video the mytouch had the same power control widget as the nexus. I tried googleing it but couldn't find the apk. I found the apk for the news widget, but i can't find one for the power control widget. Do you guys know where i can download it?

here you go. Just download metamorph from the market (free or donate. they both do the same thing) and the app AndExplorer and just apply the zip files from the link above. There should be one for nexus clock, power widget, and launcher
is there an option for non-rooted phones? Because i do not want to root my phone just for a widget. ?

[Q] Stocks app shortcut missing from app drawer

I cannot find the shortcut for the stocks app from the app drawer. I can get to it by creating a widget on the homescreen, or from the Apex launcher, but not from the stock launcher.
Anybody else facing the same issue?
It's the same thing for Polaris Office too. Weird.

I did this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26193552&postcount=2
to put it in a folder on my Home Screen.
Weird. I wonder if this is just a bug, of if AT&T hid this on purpose (and if so, why?).
I assumed there was no app for viewing MS Office documents, and went ahead and installed Office Suite (which I had luckily gotten as an Amazon "free app of the day" a while back). It wasn't until today that I tried to open an Excel document, and I was given the choice of opening with Polaris or Office Suite. I was like WTF, Polaris is there, why isn't it in the app drawer???

Yeah...I can't seem to find SoundHound in the drawer. Sucks because I actually want to use the app and can't access it. It doesn't let me delete and download in Google Play.

If you open the Music app, Soundhound should be listed there. Seems liked they tried to unify things a bit by throwing Soundhound, TuneIn, etc. under the Music app. Also, if you install Pandora or other music apps, it should automatically add a shortcut in Music (at least it did for me), and you can also add other shortcuts manually. But that doesn't fully explain why TuneIn can be found in the app drawer, and not Soundhound.

I can find and run the pre installed Sketchbook for Galaxy and Evernote apps by searching in My Files. However, I cannot workout how to get their icons on the home page.
Any help most appreciated.

Uh, long press the icon in the app drawer and drop it on the homescreen? Just like any other app?
Thanks for yor reply.
Problem is that while I can find both Apps by searching in My Files, neither are in the Apps Drawer.
