Has anybody got a good recommendation for the in-car charger.
Ebay have lots, but is it best to get the one from HTC direct.
Regards
PS; have now purchased my HD mini, and its as good as people on this forum said.
Any1 would work , but make sure its the same volts/watts . I use sony ericsson charger and it works , but as it is lower volt, it charges quickly and drains fast!

Hello everyone,
i have found in Internet a very interesting product to resolve the problem of our battery. As the title it is powermonkey by powertraveller, a portable charger.
The problem is that the powermonkey-eXplorer has an output Voltage from 4.5 to 5.5 V and a Max Current of 700mA.
Because of the HTC adapter is 5.5 V and 1 A, i was wondering if it would work with the diamond.
My suorce of doubt is that i don't think that the usb is able to work at that Voltage and Current.
So is there someone that has tecnical knowledges to say if it would work.
Thanks for the answers and hope to have proposed and interesting product.
Bye
I bought powermonkey explorer in the summer and I love it!
It is great for diamond, and every other device also.
If you buy one with solar charger, it isnt much of use if you dont live in sunny country or leave it charge always in car.
It was great though at Bulgaria charging my ipod, never had to use any other charger. And ofcourse you can charge powermonkey with usb or other ways.
I recommend it, even if it is little pricey.
It seems very tough and resisted some water and sand, hot weather.
tunppi how long does it takes to get fully charged?
I have just ordered one of these, I was going to get an extended battery, but love the way the Diamond is so thin, anyway this can also charge my PSP as well.
Will give a review once recieved
thanks... I even i'd like to know if we need for the diamond a special tip or we can use the standard miniusb that is included.
Bye
Hi guys,
Im facing a problem with the HTC original car charger (CC C100)... I have bought three chargers up until now and they all ended up fried!! Theiur output is 5V - 2A
I still want to get the HTC one but i dont know what the problem is! Im guessing the car is not the problem since im using an ipod charger with no issues. In addition i tried one of the chargers in another car with no luck.
I cant be that unlucky to get 3 faulty chargers. That only leaves me with a faulty phone or battery...right???
My phone's battery is the one that came in the box (35h00112-09M)...
Should there be any problems with this setup?? Has anyone faced this problem? Any solutions or suggestions??
Thanks...
sorry can i ask how much you paid for the car charger c c100? thanks..
hey guys, Its been driving me nut to find a right charger for my lg g2x from wind. I bought the phone used and it only came with a crappy usb car charger that doesnt have the right voltage. when i plug it in it goes crazy on the touch screen and stuff.
I already know it the charger and i had use my old blackberry charger on it and it work ok. but the thing is the amp on the BlackBerry charger is lower then the stock charger.
I need help finding a 4.8v 1a wall charger.
I already try ebay and got a cheap charger that is 5.1v and 700mah but it doesnt work it does the same thing where the screen goes nut.
I have an extended battery with charger but i would like to have a really ac wall charger as well. if anyone out there know where i can find the orginal or something that works just as good an doesnt do that funny touch screen crazinesss then I am all ears.
thanks in advance.
Amazon had them. I picked a extra one for a few dollars.
Hope that helps you out.

it makes no sense that a 5.1V charger would not work, i use my computer to charge most of the time and it is 5.05V on the USB. i think that you just got a bad cheap charger.
here is a moto 1st party one on newegg, it should do all that you want

Helloy everyone, I know that this question is very familiar. However the problem is, I'm using the 3 old devices from 2011, which are Xperia Ray, Mini Pro and W8
As I've read, people only said that new devices that use 1A output charger can be charged with 2A one, as the charger can automatically adjusts the adequate output regarding the phone's. But how about my old devices, do they have this automatic adjustment function?. I'm currently using a 1A output HTC Sensation 4G (pyramid) charger and it still charge the phone as usual, but tend to be very hot in return (way hotter than charging my HTC Sensation 4G, but it still haven't explode!!!). (and just in case, the Xperia Ray/X8/Mini Pro all are charged with the EP800 850mA output)
So just to make sure, somebody please clarify this problem for me. And in long term, should this charging method harm my battery or not?.
*My living place is a little bit inconvenient to buy a proper charger, but if there could be any danger to my phone, I will immediately buy a new EP800.
Please help me, thank you.
If I understand correctly, you will warm up because you're using a high amperage, it is normal. The charger should be calibrated for the type of battery that mounts the phone, use other could damage the battery.
I am using my Lenovo K920's 2A charger together with its cable to charge all my devicess - Xperia X8, HTC Legend, W.4G S860t, Jabra Talk.
A860t is relatively new and has no issues.
X8 is fine, no overheating, fully charging (the battery is still "like new" despite the >5 years intensive use. NOTE: I have been having a lot of problems for the 1st year with the original SE charger and cable, not being able to charge the phone; also it didn't want to charge at all with a 1A charger and any cable).
Legend has an issue having much longer charging, but it is likely to be the battery dying (>5 years of intensive use).
Jabra Talk has no issues.
