Hi guys. I gave my brother my Captivate, which I had to unlock because he's on Claro network. He can access the market but on the main screen of the market it says: "No matching content in androit market".
I tried using Market Enabler but no luck. Is there any other tool for that?
Thanks!

Hey Everyone!
For those of you who upgrade their Captivate earlier this week, I was wondering if you guys can help me out with this odd situation.
I was fiddling around my phone's camera (my phone is not rooted or anything), I came across a "firmware update" option in the settings menu.
I tried to update the firmware but it says "The requested item could not be found."
What is this firmware upgrade for? Is it going to the android market to for the upgrade?
Thanks and any help would be appreciated for a noob like me haha.

Is there any benefit to having the newest camera firmware?
Are there any projects to make custom camera firmwares? Things like enabling reading sensor data and saving as raw to increase dynamic range are interesting to me.
Hello...
I live in Brasil and I bought a mobil Samsung Galaxy Fame GT-S6812c (IT'S ORIGINAL), but I don't knew that Google Play don't work there, cause the rules of the China.
I'm very crazy cause I'm trying install the Google Play since yesterday, but without success.
I did a root with Kingo Android ROOT and I followed this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=google%20play%20chines.
It almost works. Opens the screen to enter the Google account, but it keeps opening a message every 10 seconds saying that the system has stopped unexpectedly. And the login does not end. Loading sits for hours and not finish.
I saw a different way of doing Root. With something called Recovery, but has a specific to each phone and I did not find it suitable for my style.
Someone who can help me?
Please!

very strange that why you got a Chinese edition of s6812c but you live in Brasil.
It seems that this phone is very old , I mean it released a long time ago and have a entry level cpu/ram/screen. I don't which version of android you flashed it ? For different android version, google mobile service is also different , please check whether you flashed the correct version of google mobile service .

Does anybody have the latest version of verizon's Caller Name ID app? I am currently running digital high's GPE ROM S-off, rooted, blah blah, but his latest update lost the app.
I use this app to see who is calling, it is very convenient and I do not mind the fee, but I have been unsuccessful in finding the actual app anywhere to reinstall on my phone.
Also I usually use titanium backup but recently had to get a NEW phone from verizon because the old one broke and had to use sunshine to get s-off again. Now I can not find the app anywhere.
Thanks guys if anybody can post the apk.
Stumbled upon your post. This apk is from U.S. Verizon's LG G4 (VS986) with firmware VS98610B (Android 5.1), version 3.10.0 2015-02-18. Hope this helps.
Hi guys, I thought I just got a heck of a deal when I picked up a 64gb Note 5 for only $75 today off of the app LetGo (kinda like craigslist). The guy I bought it from was very nice and showed me that everything on the phone was in working order and let me use it myself to test it out. I gave him $75 and brought it home only to factory reset it and Google Account lock it in the process. I believe it is currently on 5.1.1, no idea what security update. I tried the FRP bypass that uses Realterm as well as the wifi disconnect method and neither worked. Realterm doesn't seem to be sending the commands to the device. It instead just displays the command I sent in green lettering and nothing else. I am really getting hopeless now. The guy I bought it from wont answer my texts or calls so i can't get his gmail account or anything. I doubt it is stolen or anything due to the fact he gave me the box with the charger, s pen tips, sim tool, and everything. And yes, I checked and the serial number on the box does match the one on the phone. I am about to attempt to use odin to update it to 6.0.1 and see if the Realterm method works then. Does anyone have any ideas? It is for Sprint if that matters. Is it possible to root or flash a custom rom or anything to get passed this? Any help will be so greatly appreciated. This day started out so exciting and now is truly disappointing.
Thanks guys.
Ok, I got it figured out! I had to use odin and downgrade to N920PVPU2AOI6. Then downgrade bootloader to SM-N920P_OK3_BOOTLOADER. Then was able to insert a flash drive with the Google Bypass USB OTG.apk app on it into my phone. It automatically opened My Files when inserted, then I installed to app and bypassed it. The only thing now is in Download mode it still says "FRP lock: On" Although it seems to be fully functional and currently has my google account on it.

Greetings and welcome to assist. Glad you got your phone working, there are several guides on bypassing FRP on xda that may remove this message if you want to try them
