I rooted my phone yesterday and everything went fine. I installed a root app which allows you to change many features in your phone. I decided to see what other resolutions would work. After i changed the resolution my phone rebooted and it f**ked everything up. I cant do anything now. Its all errors. I have no idea what to do now. I need to wipe it clean but dont know how.
Someone please help if you can
Thanks

You will likely have to reflash your rom. That will give you one option to bring it back to stock working condition. There may be other solutions. This is just one option.
Aside from my issue of apps going missing when rebooting...some even when copied right to phone memory...I am now stuck at work and rebooted my phone to find that I now have no data coverage. Internet does not work. I can call and txt and that is it.
I am running a flashed Infuse with Bionix Infinity V2 build. Firmware 2.2.1, Baseband 1997UCKE3, and Kernel Version 2.6.32.9 if that helps. I flashed it a couple days ago and this is the first time i've had this issue. I have not installed anything today either that could have created some kind of conflict. I called ATT just to make sure I still have a data plan in case some weird stuff happened and somehow got taken off and I do.
Is there anything I can try to possibly get this working asap? Thanks in advance!

Go into settings>wireless and network>mobile network and be sure to turn the packet data ON (enable packet data) It would not hurt to even turn on/enable DATA Roaming
Good luck with it...
If all fails seeing that you have other issues besides the internet/data I guess you will need to use the "Ultimate Unbrick".
I know your fone is NOT bricked but this Ultimate Unbrick method is the only one I know of which will revert your phone to 100% stock retail condition so you can have a fresh start with a 100% working phone.

If you decide to use this method, be sure you follow the step by step instructions completely.
Good luck!

Thanks, the packet data was already turned on. I tried on/off/on and rebooted again as well. I may just end up reverting to stock and trying again although it would suck to lose everything. It's odd that I haven't messed with anything today and was working earlier. I am hoping it is just a problem in the area but I can txt/call just fine.
I'm working the graveyard shift too..this couldn't have come at a worse time.
EDIT: AT&T says there is an outage in my area and to wait about an hour.

Pretty sure I am going to just do the ultimate unbrick now...I lost another 4 apps when rebooting just now. I need to know if I need to return my phone or not before my 30 days is up. It did this even before rooting my phone and I move all my apps to internal phone memory.
I tried restoring a clockwork backup but no dice and now Im screwed. Cant get it to connect to data or phone service. I was on weapong2x while trying out faux stock kernel and thought I try the Unthrottled data hack. Since its all similiar to stock. Used Root explorer, no dice. My is working otherwise after I fixed it from a boot loop but i cant surf or make calls. Can someone upload a services.jar?

Do you mean flash stock recovery or what, I am confused. I flashed a couple different roms to fix it.
Or is this more like the time i tried upgrading to lg's gingerbread rom and i had to use an xp computer and some strange lg program and apx to fix it?
Can someone just post the services.jar file for stock?
Im sorry, for bumping but i cant leave something and come back, cant seem to fix it no matter what i do. can anyone help me by uploading their stock services.jar file? Or can someone give some directions? Ive been playing with this the last two days and want to fix it. Wasting my days off.....
------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT It didnt work right after i changed the services.jar file. Just needed a sim pull and I put it back in, and came back to me. I feel dumb.
i recently flashed my infuse 4g to gingerbread and it was not working right at all so i flashed it back to stock with a rom i found on here the flash worked and all but now all my apps force close i cant seem to uninstall them. i formatted my internal and external cards all the apps are still there and force closing, texting and calling still works fine. id be ok with completely resetting my device and having to re-install my apps. just wondering how to do that and keep all my att data so when i reset it my phone will still work because i need my phone somewhat working for my job.
Do a hard reset and install your apps again.
how do i do that sorry been looking for an option cant seem to find it
i found it thanks
Kind of long, but it's just a difficult explanation, please read and try to help me. Thank you.
Okay, so I have a really weird problem, and I can't seem to fix it at all. I rooted my T-Mobile Galaxy S4, and had no problem with data loss, then I flashed Darthstalker, and everything went fine and it flashed but then I noticed that whenever I shut my screen down when I was on anything other than E or 4G LTE, the phone would lose network signal, but what was weird is that I could still receive texts and phone calls. In order to get the signal back though, I had to go change the data type, and then change it back to normal.
So, then I read that wiping the Dalvik and the regular cache would fix it, and it didn't. Then, I also tried flashing a different ROM (Wicked v9.1) which also didn't fix it. So, I flashed the stock firmware and just got rid of the root and the problem was gone. I even tried rerooting and just installing only Wicked first just to see if maybe Darthstalker corrupted something. But, it still had the same issue, so I just went back to stock again.
Can someone please help me fix this? I've looked everywhere and I can't really find anything to help me out with this.
Thank you in advance.
