Internal pictures of Ztab - G Tablet General

I took my Malata Ztab apart earlier and snapped some pictures and a video for you guys. The results as compared to the Gtab were.. interesting... check it out..
The first one shows the first difference between the gtab and ztab:

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what the silver chip there is? The Gtab doesn't have it. Could it be a GPS chip? There is an antenna right next to it.
Difference two. The Gtab has one antenna in this spot. The Ztab has two, bringing the total number of antennas to three. I'm guessing this is the wifi/3G block:
Difference three... The 3G slot!:
I took some other pictures while I was in there showing various numbers around the board. Not sure if any of them would be of interest. There is one that shows what could be a model number of the board "HannStar J MV-4". I took an HD video tour as well. It's a couple hundred megs so if anyone wants it let me know.
Sorry for posting a zip file. Can't do an attachment, file too large, nor links.

just post the video on youtube im sure it will take off.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I'll update this post after I do that. I still wonder what that silver block is... GPS maybe? haha...

Looks good. Thanks for the pictures.

Did you have a 3g card in that slot? If so, can you post the card model here? How tall is the slot? I would like to add one to my Gtab but not sure which size to buy. Do you also have the sim card adapter installed in your tablet? Thanks!

I rotate the phone 180 degrees to let you see another side
How do you judge it? I think mine isn't that bad.

you need to put on something that is black background to see it. i can see it across the top and bottom , i can also see it very similair on my tv if i look at it the same way looking up into it. its there adn you can see it but its not that noticable unless your looking for it on mine. the pics the other poster showed were definaltey worse than mine. This does not make me regret the purchase at all.
i cant really see it at all when its the standard white bar across the top on froyo.
How about this one? Get "draw!" from market.
I have to put a dot at the center in order to take picture.
Added a pic of MT4 under similar situation (using draw!), but since the screen is less sensitive, I have to draw a small circle instead of the dot.

If you have to ask if it's bad....it's not bad.

[Q] Water damage indicator for One X

[I posted to international One X section earlier and they asked me to post here]
I'm going to buy a slightly used LTE One X tomorrow from a craigslist ad and I'm quite excited about it. However, I have once been scammed couple of years ago by buying a water-damaged phone.
Can someone here please tell me where exactly to look for the water damage indicator? It's unibody so checking battery will not be possible. I tried to search the forums/google but couldn't find anything about HTC One X there. Also, I'll appreciate if someone can share any other tip on buying a used phone.
Its not by the USB, so I would guess its either on the bottom of the headphone jack or in the Sim slot. I don't have a flashlight to check but those would be the only 2 places I could see it located.
I think it is at the top of the sim slot if you take the card out. I didn't see anything in the headphone port.

My ex dropped her iPhone in the toilet 2 weeks after getting it for her birthday and I just painted the water sensors back white and sent it in. Worked

The Only problem is that it will be "difficult" to reach the indicator in the sim card.

[Q] Dropped Xoom - now screen random displays like this

I recently dropped my Xoom (in a case onto a carpeted floor). It semeed to survive but now the display shows distorted colors like the sample attached. I thought it might be a loose connection but I can be working away and the screen will revert to normal and stay that way for days.
And I can suspend it while it's okay, come back to it and the display is corrupt again.
Can anybody work out what could be going on? I would prefer not to have to replace the screen but I don't really know if that is the issue if it reverts back to normal all the time.
Thanks

Silly me. The screen shots look distorted to me also because I was posting on the device!
Yeah looks like a loose connector to me. You may be able to fix it if it was a soldering joint. I guess the repair can do the same thing.
I dropped my tablet recently and the screen got screwed like yours, but mine is worse. I don't know too much about hardware, but I think that it's the crystal that broke, so it may be hard to fix :/. Anyway, if you get it back working I hope you to share some info with me, as well I will do if I get working .

No1 here? :\
Cmon I need suggestions..
I think this accessories bundle include a sports armband...

You have to complete with the www in he beginning of the url... i'm allowed to post outside links..
From past experience, I would recommend the Tunebelt armband. I have not bought one for the Nexus 4 yet but I will soon. I had a Tunebelt for my Samsung Galaxy S(original) and I was able to use it with my HTC One X, a tight fit without a case, but it worked. They are very comfortable and have a considerable amount of stretch to them. You may be able to get one of the ones designed for a larger phone if you plan on using a case with the Nexus 4. Make sure you measure your arm to see if you need the extender which is sold separately.

Here is a link that shows what model to get based upon what device you have:

t-mobile Note 5: different revision?

I received a "t-mobile replacement" for my "insurance refurbished Note 5" . Look at the differences. The one on the right is either an old hardware revision or a bad refurbished.

The CPO (certified preowned) I bought is the newer style with FCC stuff on the bottom back.
Sent from my phone...
i see a Note 5 that had the back glass replaced. The picture of the lense - idk what I'm looking at. Be specific when you post stuff like this. It looks dirty either inside or outside but idk what is going on.
Why did you use your insurance?
Tmobile is good at many things; refurbishment isn't one of them. They send I my self and a friend of mine have both received refurbished devices that should not have been able to pass quality control with even a cursory inspection.
Samsung did make a change on the S-Pen piece that was getting broken when you inserted it in backwards.

They didn't have my previous phone so they sent the N5 instead. Yeah, the lense is dirty inside. T-mobile replaced it with no question asked.
