GT theming question - Galaxy Tab Themes and Apps

Just Got my galaxy tab, and my mind is running wild with ideas for theming. I only have experience theming my Droid X with Apex (a deodexed rom). I am already running into issues pushing modified framework. Is there a way to deodex the galaxy tab (sprint by the way) or is theming this thing completely different?
edit: just got cwm3 running and creating backups/restoring smoothly. Just need help deodexing

[Q] milestones roms

Ok since I am new to this forum it would not let me post where I wanted to so here goes. I have a Motorola milestone think that model number is a 853 not sure. Anyway it looks just like Droid 1. This is the USA model with GSM. Looking for rom updates running 2.1 right now. I have rooted with z4root,have milestone overclocker, superuser, rom manager, not sure what all else. If anyone can help I would be greatfull. All that I can find is for non USA milestones. Thank you
CM9 for the Milestone

CM9 for the Milestone as well, awesome stuffs.
PS: 7.1 is stable, and can be installed from standard 2.1/2.
I just passed my Milestone running CM7.2 RC1 to my girlfriend. It runs great.
Usually when you got a new Android-powered device, things to look are rooting it, flashing cooked ROMs, switching to a new launcher, installing relevant apps to your needs from Google Play and finally, customising the system appearance by adding widgets and applying custom icon packs.
Have fun!

[Q] Rooting & MIUI Rom on Galaxy Tab 7" (original)?

Hi, hope someone can help me, please.
I have a Galaxy Tab P1000. It was with Froyo 2.2 and had MIUI Rom installed. It was also rooted with SuperUser.
I have now upgraded to Gingerbread 2.3.
Questions:
1. Is it still using MIUI Rom, or the default Rom? If not, HOW and where can I see this to delete it? If it is using it, how do I know? Sorry, not "up" on these things.
2. Is the GT still rooted? There's the SuperUser app still but if it's not rooted now, I can delete that app, right? Do I need to root it again for Gingerbread?
I would like to install one of the GO Launcher themes but first, it's best I get the above questions answered.
I don't even know if I'm seeing the "best" of what Gingerbread has to offer. Maybe it is still using MIUI and that's why it looks the same as before...?
Hope you can help. Many thanks for any advice and help!! :S

[Q] android kitchen Samsung note 2 removing default apks

Hey all..
This is my first post here so....
I want to start a project just for me
I have my original ROM and I have used the kitchen to extract everything... Now I have 700meg of APKs to potentially remove.. First job and question is to find out which ones I can remove please ?
My phone is a Samsung galaxy note 2 n7105 lte it is a optus carrier branded ROM.
Currently I have cm11 installed... Ummmm... I like long walks on the beach
After I remove these unwanted apps I'd like to replace some of them I.e. the default browser with say Firefox and the SMS default it to something etc.
Any advice or links to other post with my same question would be great
Thanks....
Pavle.

[Q] Question about custom ROM developing (Help is needed)

Hello!
I am an AndroNoob and haven't done much. I just have rooted my phone, used odin twice and tried to get cyanogenmod. I have got the Samsung Galaxy Xcover (GT-S5690) and i really would like to have android 4.0+ on it or even run 4.0+ apps on it. After about 5 days of searching a custom ROM that works good and is android 4.0+, i decided to make my own one. I just want to ask you, is it possible to use android kitchen or something to just get the original rom from sammobile or some other place and just make it be ics/jb or get likes 4.0+ firmware for galaxy ace or something and make it work with my xcover? And if so, how easy will it be (Should i even start using/wasting my time on it)? And last if possible i would like to have the samsung style android
And i would be so happy if i can get it done, get my xcover run ics/jb!
Thanks for any help and sorry for my bad english.

[Completed] can't deodex my stock rom

hey everyone, I did much google but i m not able to deodex my stock rom. The problem is :
in xultimate: I did pulled system and framework apps but when i try to deodex them, xultimate shows file not found.
I would be really thankfull if you can help me.
M y device is Samsung galaxy star pro gt-s7262(rooted) .
Ok well you're trying to use a tool that may be obsolete. If you want to properly deodex (I assume for theming purposes) your device and it's failing a few things come to mind. First thing you may want to do is actually just find a stock rom that's already deodexed if there are any.
If not you may want to just make your own which you can do by getting the stock firmware (find this elsewhere ie: google) and build your own and deodex it using this tool here.
I think that is your best route and wish you luck
