random g tab freezes? - G Tablet General

Help! I bought a g tab for my soon to be wife and I went ahead and installed clockworkmod, flashed tnt lite, installed flash and performed the market fix. Everything was great until it froze up and now it freezes up whenever I boot it up, I even went ahead and restored the stock ROM and still freezes...any help would be great!
Thank you in advance.

Okay I went ahead and booted into clockwork, cleared everything, restored the factory ROM, and reinstalled TnTlite from scratch and now it seems to be working again

Please help: unusual bootloop/CWM error

Hi
I installed Thiaz ROM and the ICS theme which there is a link to on his V2.4 page. All was running fine and dandy for a day. I installed all of my programs, apps, etc, and used App2SD to move some of them to the SD. Each time I did this, it said 'failed' the first time and then allowed them to be moved on the next. I rebooted the phone a couple of times and never had any problems. After I had got things set up as I wanted them, I rebooted into CWM and did a new backup. I then rebooted and went into bootloop.
Cleared data, dalvik and even battery stats. Tried fixing permissions. Nothing worked at all, still boot loop. Did a factory reset and restored the backup and still bootloops.
If I restore to the original backup from when I first put on the ROM (no ICS theme), it works OK. Then after a few hours and after I have turned on and off successfully a few times, I get the old bootloop again. I have not messed around with any system files, etc. One time it was after I moved a file with File Expert but I uninstalled that programme and haven't used since.
Any help or suggestions would be very gratefully received as I don't really want to go back to the stock V21a but I can't be doing with setting up everything on my phone from scratch every day either!
I hope someone can help me.

[Q] Problem After Custom Rom

Hi folks,
I searched the other forums but didn't see anything that looked like my incident so I'm hoping you can help.
I recently replaced my MicroSD card and took the opportunity to install CleanROM 6. This is my 4th time adding a custom rom so I was confident. I'm rooted already so I proceed to back up using Titanium Backup, booted to CWM, chose "wipe data / factory reset", and then walked through the process of installing CleanROM successfully from the zip file. Everything went smoothly like it has every previous time. When CleanROM installation completed, I returned to CWM and rebooted.
The problem is that when I turn the phone on, it boots to the "SAMSUNG GALAXY S III" SCREEN" and hangs there. I am able to get into both CWM Recovery and ODIN. Do I have a way to salvage my phone?
redownload the ROM and try again.

Good advice. I tried it again with the same results. However, I just tried cyanogenmod 10 with success. Thanks
Gave me an excuse to try cyanogenmod... I've been eyeing this for sometime. Thanks again.

[Q] [Help] Flashing ROM works fine, freezes on splash screen on boot when restarted.

I'm just gunna give you the whole story.
I'm using TWRP Recovery.
I'm coming back to my d2vzw after a couple weeks of not using it (I got a different phone through work). I'm now back to using my GS3. I decided to update to the latest ROM version. I installed the slimROM stable that was just released, it was slow and they animations were choppy (which is really weird for slim). So I decided to try a different ROM. I've used carbon before, and I really like active display and HALO, so I decided to install that. It installed just fine, installed all my apps, rebooted. It froze on the initial splash screen, didn't even get to the boot animation. So I figured it was just a bad install, so I formatted and flashed from my external SD. Again, first boot just fine, then froze on second boot. So I put a https://plus.google.com/+AlexKruger/posts/dJGXsrAZvj4 in the ROM's community. They suggested that it might be a bug from installing it from my external. So I formatted, then moved the files over to internal, and flashed again. It booted fine, I got to the home screen and restarted before I did anything else. Froze, again. Then someone suggested, that I format, install it, boot all the way, reboot into recovery, wipe cache/dalvik and dirty flash from internal storage. Did it, froze on reboot. So I formatted one more time, and went to boot into recovery while figured out what to do, I accidentally booted into the system. It booted just fine, I went through the set up and activation screens, and it worked. So I rebooted, froze. Then someone suggested I switch recoveries, so I installed the latest CWM recovery, and tried everything all over again, still freezes on reboot.
I know I could just use a different ROM, but it's gotten to the point that I need to fix it. I want to get it to work because F*** you.
Please any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

[Q] TF101 stopped working

Hello everyone,
Yesterday I was using my TF101 and decided to reboot since it has been a while. Now, the TF101 doesn't want get past the "eee pad" screen and just constantly reboots itself without even trying to access the rom.
I went into TWRP and flashed my rom again, same results. Went back into TWRP and did a full restore, same results. The TF101 doesn't want to get past the initial boot screen.
I have a feeling the hard drive went out? Any idea what tio try next? The only thing I did before the reboot was install eBay app.
Tried wiping absolutely everything in TWRP and flashing the ROM again ?
Bootloops can be caused by apps on the DATA partition too
Try flashing TWRP again too
Wiped everything I could. Installed KitKat, all good now. Thanks!
Cool :good:

[Completed] [Q] I need help with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113

Hello community, I am new here so I don' t know where to put this.
Well I need some help, I am having problems with my old tab, A Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113, Flashed with custom ROM CM 10.1.3 for GT-P5110
Worked fine for a year and a Half, the issue that I am having now is that, it constantly restarts, after entering to the OS I can tweak change etc, but after a few secs it just turns of and reboots the system.
The other problem that I am having is that I tried everything that I could think of. I deleted some apps, which came back after the reboot. I booted to safemode, and deleted the last apps that I installed, still came back after the crash reboot.
I went to recovery mode (CWM) and did a Factory reset, delete cache and delete Dalvik Cache. Nothing when reboot everything was like last time.
wen't to and tried to reflash CM 10.1.3 (stable) following every procedure and nothing everything was back.
Last thing I tried is ODIN with stock ROM (which is hard to find for this tab.) but get write error after going to half. I am downloading a second stock ROM (android 4.1.1) to see how it goes.
Hope to find help here, I would be greatly thankful.
EDIT: Flashed now with the new stock ROM, ODIN says success, everything seems fine, but again I got received by the same splash and the same logon screen, and still crashes and reboots...
I really need the help

It keeps with the boot loop.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. After you flash with Odin go into the stock recovery and do a factory reset. If that doesn't work it may be that you're device is just getting old and giving up the ghost. There's a whole forum for your device which may also help. See this,http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2
Oh, that would be bad news :/
Do you think it could be that I deleted CWM rommanager app, and then accidentally deleted the .recovery, that put me into this situation?

It didn't work. I noticed that after the transferring of odin it doesn't go to the installation procedure. It just skips that and goes to the logscreen with how everything I had.
Now I went to safe mode, and deleted all apps that I could from play store. when I came back after a restart, everything was there, back. :/
Please ask any further questions you have on the q&a forum in your drives forum, the link I gave you. They are the experts on your device
